Charlotte shook her head. "It's - it's fine. Are you sure you're alright?" She asked, voice laced with concern.
(Lmao ooof)
Charlotte shook her head. "It's - it's fine. Are you sure you're alright?" She asked, voice laced with concern.
(Lmao ooof)
He nodded. "I'm fine. Just…I'm fine." He said again.
(I have to keep reminding myself that Charlotte doesn't have as much social anxiety as me XD)
Charlotte shook her head. "Something's off, what happened?"
(looooolll I have to remind myself daily that "these are male characters!! They don't cry as easily as you do!!" Bc I cry when I get angry/upset and I HATE it)
He shook his head again. "Nothing." He said.
"Please don't lie to me," Charlotte begged quietly.
He sighed softly. "It's not important, Charlotte."
"Fine. I'll just go back to my room, then," she muttered, starting for the stairs.
He looked at his feet. "I'm sorry you're stuck here, Charlotte." He said softly.
Charlotte sighed. "It's not as though I would have done anything else while I was here." She shrugged, delicately leaning against the rail.
(my lights keep flickering out and I am like… fucking TERRIFIED of the dark, despite being a sixteen year old, so I am curled up with a flashlight and stuffed animal, while having heart attacks every time the lights flicker. If I stop replying, I either went to bed, or the power went out)
Quinn sighed. "I know. I just…it's not fair of me." He said.
"A lot of things are unfair, Princey," she stated calmly. "And while I don't particularly love being stuck anywhere, a castle isn't a bad place to be stuck, all.things considered."
(OH YIKES. I hope you don't get murdered by a ghost! That was a joke. Don't kill me. Oof, but I do have to go sleep, cause, ya know, 2 am, and all. Okie good luck with your flickering light!)
He shrugged. Not if you've been stuck here your whole life…
(Don't make it worse O.O ok! Lol thanks. also there's random banging sounds bc it's super windy out… pretty sure I'ma die or something XD)
Charlotte sighed, sitting on the stairs with her chin in her hands.
(im alive! XD)
Quinn raked his hand through his hair.
(YAY YOU MADE IT!)
Charlotte looked down. "Do you still need me, or should I leave now?"
(lol yup!)
Quinn sighed softly. "You can leave." He replied, looking at the floor.
Charlotte nodded, standing up and starting up the stairs.
Quinn leaned against the wall, covering his face with his hands for a moment.
Charlotte sighed when she went into her room, crossing to her bed and simply sitting on it, staring at nothing. After several seconds of this, she abruptly threw a vase of flowers at the wall, shattering it. She completely ignored the broken glass and stared at the ground.
Aster had come back inside, to the ball, and was eating from the food tables.
Quinn sighed softly, raking his hands through his hair. I've never been out of here. These walls, these grounds, all I've ever known. And i hate it. I hate it i hate it i hate it.
Charlotte had completely destroyed her room by the time she lay down, and she regretted nothing. Is this what it feels like to be mad? She vaguely wondered.
Quinn sighed, and headed to his room. Should let her go…but mom would… He raked a hand through his hair again.
Charlotte sighed, staring up at her ceiling. After a few minutes, she stood up and walked out of her room, pacing back and forth at the top of the staircase.
Quinn was coming up the stairs, and spotted her. He sighed softly. The young king's expression was rather distant, and preoccupied.
Charlotte didn't notice Quinn, and continued pacing quickly.
