She blushed and high fived her, not letting go of her hand after, I wish I was your babe she thought
Carolyn smiled, squeezed her hand, and let it go. On the outside, her face didn't look any different, but she did feel her neck get slightly hot. 'That's odd,' she thought. Carolyn never blushed or got flustered. At all.
"So, when does your shift end today?" she asked, letting go of her hand gently as well
"Well I don't get off until closing but my next break is . . . " she looked at her watch, "whenever Oliver and Bren are done with theirs. Because I can really take a break whenever but Oliver will be on me if I leave the counter unattended. Any reason you're asking?" she asked.
"I was wondering if you'd want to go out with me?" she asked, looking at her in the eyes as a blush went over her cheeks
"Like – like a date?" Carolyn asked, her eyes widening as she lost her composure. "I mean –" she smiled and gave a small laugh. "You don't want to go on a date with me. I'm totally full of myself. And I've got like, no chill," she added, trying to laugh off the blush and rush of emotions she felt.
"But I've liked you for almost a year now, you've got tons of chill around the people you love and you're completly modest. And as a plus, you're extremely, breathtakingly gorgeous" she replied, smiling at Carolyn's blush
Bren composes himself, shooting the place a disgusted look. "Chipolte"
(you good)
"Pretty good," she said, putting the muffin in the mini oven they had to warm things up. "I'm glad the morning's almost over."
"Yea, me too. The only thing is that I have nine more hours until I can hit my bed again." He placed the money on the counter and looked around.

“Oh. Thanks,” Carolyn said, her eyes wide. “But. Um. Okay. When — when were you thinking?”
"When you get off of work maybe?" she asked, watching the blush on her face

“Alright then let’s go,” Oliver said, picking up his pace and pulling Bren along faster.
"Damn, I thought there would e good food there." He muttered, despite what you might think Bren does sware, a lot.

“Oh, tonight? Yeah, yup, sounds great,” Carolyn said, reaching up to smooth her ponytail down.

Carolyn placed the warm muffin in the bag and put the coffee cup on the counter, then took the money. “Ah bed. My favorite place,” Carolyn said with a smile.

“I know, me too,” Oliver said, opening the door to Chipotle for Bren. “It looked so promising.”
Bren nodded. "They had good decor." He said as he walked through the door, the wonderful smell of Chipoltes entering his nose.
“Yeah, aesthetically, they looked great,” Oliver said. He made a face. “I bet their coffee is just as bad as their cupcakes.”
Bren shrugged and sighed dramatically. "Probably."

"Isn't it everyone's?" He asked rhetorically, smiling back. "Have a good day." He told her while moving to sit in a booth and taking out his laptop.

“You too,” she said with a smile and greeted the next customer.
Bren shrugged and sighed dramatically. "Probably."
“Wouldn’t put it past them,” Oliver said, shaking his head theatrically with a disapproving look on his face.
Bren orders a huge burrito because he forgot to eat this morning, just like his writer,"Chips?" He asks Oliver.
“And guacamole?” Oliver asked, ordering the same.
(Child please eat)
"Ew." Bren said but ordered some anyway. "The queso is gross here, don't get any."
(Its 11:13 at night and i'm the only one awake)

“Don’t worry, I’m not an idiot.”
(Oh wow it’s like 8 here. Did you eat at all today?)
(Uhhh, i think i had a piece of bread)
"I mean, you get guac so that is debatable."
“Excuse you, guac is delicious,” Oliver declared, placing a protective hand over the container of guacamole.
(Get some protein)
Bren wrinkled his nose, they had had this fight a bunch. "Salsa is sooooo much better."
(Peanut butter?)
“Bren, there is salsa in my burrito. I’m not going to get salsa again. Besides, they only have the kind that’s all chopped up, which is not easy to scoop with a chip.”
(Yeah, that’s good)
