"Damn right I am, get over here!" She grabbed Bren's hand and Oliver's hand and pulled them around the counter and in the kitchen.

"Geez Car, what's is it?" Oliver asked, stumbling into the kitchen after her.

"Prepare yourselves," Carolyn said dramatically. "I . . . just got asked out. For tonight." She crossed her arms, almost hugging herself.

Bren paused for a moment then burst out laughing, wiping away tears from his eyes he said. "I knew it, I knew the day would finally come."

Ash started walking home when she realized she forgot about the coffee shop. Anyways, she was starving so why not go. She lugged all her stuff to the shop and entered, sitting down at a table near the corner of room.

"Okay, so who asked you out?"

"Oliva!" she hissed. "And apparently she's liked me for almost a year! And she called me gorgeous!" Carolyn sputtered.
"Oh my god she's blushing," Oliver said to Bren.
"Shut up!" Carolyn said, glaring at him.

"I gotta go!" Carolyn pushed herself up and out the kitchen door and found one of the girls she had invited sitting at a booth. She went up to her, smiling. "You came!"
