Bren smiled and latched his arm around Olivers. "Sure! Let's go!" He said excitedly. "I heard they have these fancy cupcakes! I want to try one!" He rambled happily.

"Yeah, let's do it," Oliver said, grinning ridiculously at Bren's smile. "But let's go out the back," he said walking towards the door that led to the alley. "I don't want Carolyn to see us."
(Carolyn is very prone to teasing and Oliver doesn't want that in front of customers)
"Are you afraid she's going to tease ya?" Bren asked in a teasing voice, he knew Carolyn teased Oliver and Bren wasn't much better.
Oliver rolled his eyes jokingly. "Yes. I don't want to get . . . flustered in front of the customers. And I don't need it from you either," he said, opening the back door for Bren.
Bren smiled his signature goofy smile and walked through the door. "You're adorable." He said, pulling Oliver out the door like an excited puppy.
"I know," he said, allowing himself to be pulled out the door and into the alley. "Hey hold on a sec," he said, then leaned against the alley wall and pulled Bren in for a kiss. "I like those pants," he said queitly, his face hot.
(Ouhhhh shiiiiiiizzzz)
"And I like you," Bren said booping Olvers nose because Bren's aromantic writer has no clue what to do.
(I feel like I'm contributing nothing)
(sorry, I'm waiting on the customer Carolyn's cause I don't want to skip over them completely with but after that, she's all yours)
"And I like you," Bren said booping Olvers nose because Bren's aromantic writer has no clue what to do.
(oh nooo I'm so sorry. thats a good response though lol. I'll refrain from heavy romance stuff and you don't worry about if the romance stuff you do is perfect.)
"You're adorable," Oliver said pushing himself off the wall and walking down the alley. "Come on, let's go try those cupcakes."
Lol, I love shipping but I have no clue what to do and part of my story is a romance… so I have to figure out how to write stuff.//
Bren clapped his hands together and pretty much squealed, he did this everytime sweets were mentioned. "Cupcakes!"
(from what I've gathered from this is that you write your characters as complete dorks when it comes to romance. which everyone loves)
Yup!//
and thanks./

"Yeah," Oliver said quietly, grinning wide. 'Oh my gosh, he's so cute,' was playing in an endless loop in Oliver's head. "I also heard they serve decent coffee, so we have to check that out, make sure it's not better than ours'."
and thanks./

"Well, nothing is better than your coffee so I doubt it." Bren laughed, happy that he was here with Oliver.
Piper sat her legs out in the booth, crossed over each other of course, book in hand and latte next to her on the table. she took occasional sips but mostly focused in on her book.
"Well, nothing is better than your coffee so I doubt it." Bren laughed, happy that he was here with Oliver.
"Damn right," he said. "No but seriously, I just want to see what I'm up against." They got to the crosswalk and Oliver pushed the crossing button. "Were you and Carolyn talking about the halloween menu?" he asked.
"Yup! We were talking about making sweet pumpkin pasties and making different flavors, oh and we were wondering if you could make an apple cinnamon latte recipe." He said, going off on a little tangent about sweets.
"Hmm." Oliver thought for a moment. "Yeah, that could probably work. Ooh!" he exclaimed. "Do you think you could make a cinnamon or pumpkin spice whipped cream to go on top?"
"That would be fun! I can try!" He exclaimed, clapping his hands together. He claps his hands together a lot, I know.
“Great,” Oliver said, smiling again. “Here we are,” he said, holding the door open for Bren. “Let’s go try those cupcakes.”
"Cupcakes!" He exclaimed, walking through the door and up to the counter with a huge grin.
“Oh hi Olivia,” Carolyn said, finishing with her customer. “I didn’t see you come in. How are you?”
"I'm doing fine, you?" she asked, knowing that the line ended after her.
“Good.” She sighed and leaned against the counter. “Morning rush is just about over which is good. What are you up to today?” Carolyn asked with a tired smile.
