"Yeah," Carolyn said, looking down at her hands. "You're right. I'm freaking out over nothing."
"Well, that's what we're here for," Oliver said. "To tell you when you're being dumb." He rubbed her hair affectionately.
"Oh thanks," Carolyn said, then froze. "Wait, what time is it?"
"Uh, 4:30, why?"
"I gotta go!" Carolyn pushed herself up and out the kitchen door and found one of the girls she had invited sitting at a booth. She went up to her, smiling. "You came!"
Ash glanced up from her textbook and smiled at Carolyn. “Hey, I finished up early so here I am.”
Mikhail woke up again since he needs to be in a fluffy ship and smiled at Adrian
"Hey, are you okay, it seemed like quite the fall." He said to the man that had just woken up.
"Wha?-Oh-um-yeah. Perfectly fine, yep, perfectly fine," Mikhail replied let's pretend he didn't walk into the cafe and died, let's just pretend he walked in and ordered his coffee.
But he had fallen and coculdnt get up

"Lovely, let me head to the kitchen and I'll be right back, babe." Carolyn winked at her and walked off to the kitchen. "What have you got that says, 'Love is in the air'?" Carolyn asked Bren dramatically.
"Wha?-Oh-um-yeah. Perfectly fine, yep, perfectly fine," Mikhail replied let's pretend he didn't walk into the cafe and died, let's just pretend he walked in and ordered his coffee.
(Oh wait, this is happening? Okay, Oliver's at the counter, he ordered from him)
"Strawberry cookies with red flower designs on them." He decides, pulling some cookies off a drying tray.
"Okay, but are they delicous enough?" she asked, back to her old self. "Are they enough to bring together two exhausted women who have never met each other?" Carolyn asked, slamming her hands on the kitchen counter.
"Yeah," Carolyn said, looking down at her hands. "You're right. I'm freaking out over nothing."
"Well, that's what we're here for," Oliver said. "To tell you when you're being dumb." He rubbed her hair affectionately.

Ash nodded and went back to her work, occasionally glancing around the shop.
"Are you doubting my baking?" He asked her, giving a fake gasp and clutching his chest. "I'm betrayed!"
"I'm not doubting you," Carolyn said, grabbing a towel and swatting Bren with it. "I just need this to work. I've got a no-fail streak on my matchmaking and I am not about to start now."
"I'm not doubting you," Carolyn said, grabbing a towel and swatting Bren with it. "I just need this to work. I've got a no-fail streak on my matchmaking and I am not about to start now."
Bren caught the towel and gave her a sincere look. "You and Oliver always get people together, heck you got me and Oliver together. Now, get out of my kitchen and go set people up."
"Fine," Carolyn huffed. "But hurry with the cookies please!" she said, hurrying out the door before Bren could swat her with the towel. She sauntered over to the girl and sat down at the booth. "Cookies will be out in just a moment, and let me tell you, they are to die for." Carolyn grinned and pulled one leg up on the bench. "I'm Carolyn, by the way."
"Sounds good. Nice to meet you Carolyn." Ash looked up and smiled at her.
"Nice to meet you too," Carolyn smiled at her. "So, what was it you're studying again? Oh, and I didn't catch your name."
"It's Ash and I'm studying to be an astrophysicist."
"Wow, that's really cool," Carolyn said. "So you're smart, huh?"
“I’d like to say yes.” She laughed.
"Well, I feel like you'd have to be to be an astrophysicist," she said, smiling. "Did you say you have a job?"
