Noah crossed his arms over his chest. What was with places feeling off today? His eyes flicked back and forth over the room, subtly taking everything in.

"I think we're supposed to wait here until we're called," he stated. He looked to Leslie, and Spencer's eyes said that there was more.

@Imperfect_Autumn group

His eyes still scanning the room, Spencer subtly moved closer to Anya. He turned slightly so that his back was to hers, that way they would have a view of most of the room.

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(Definitely!)

Two more shots were fired in their direction, one nearly grazing Spencer's arm as it passed. He shot back blindly, and, hearing an "Oof!" coming from the direction he'd shot, knew he'd hit his target.

"Whelp. There goes our 'easy job'," he half-joked.

//kk me too but not for work lol

“Great. Let’s keep going,” Anya said, hopping over the overturned chair and leading the way out of the room.

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(Lol. Okay.)

Spencer followed Anya out of the room, occasionally looking back to make sure no one was following them. Gosh, he probably looked paranoid, but that was a small price to pay for being at least a little bit safer.

@CWTurtleOfFreedom

Anya pressed her back against the wall, gun at her side, and slunk amongst the hallways. She tried to communicate with Spencer through hand signals, head shakes, and meaningful looks, but she wasn’t sure he got the message….

@Imperfect_Autumn group

Unfortunately, they hadn't completely covered signals in Spencer's extensive spy training. He just gave her a look that said, I don't understand, and continued walking.

@CWTurtleOfFreedom

Anya wanted to breathe a sigh of relief, but that would’ve been stupid. She slunk further down the hall, slipping from shadow to shadow in an attempt to stay hidden. So far, it was working.

@Imperfect_Autumn group

As stealthily as possible, Spencer silently followed Anya through the halls. Of course, their mission just had to go wrong before it had even started. That was the life of a spy, he supposed.

@CWTurtleOfFreedom

//where are they

Anya slipped through a doorway, raising her gun in an instant. The room was silent, still. Empty. She moved around so that she was hidden and motioned for Spencer to do the same.

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(Uh… Somewhere in the White House, I believe, in a hallway. Although, it seems as if Anya is in a room…)

Spencer rolled his eyes, ducking deeper into the shadows. As if he didn't know how to spy like… well, a spy.

He slipped into another room, automatically going into a defensive position. A glance around showed that it had been vacated. And very recently, too, by the looks of it. Papers were strewn across the floor and the desk that sat in the center. Chairs were flipped backward. All the lights were out. Spencer narrowed his eyes, wondering, calculating.

@CWTurtleOfFreedom

Anya stood up, covered Spencer's mouth, and pulled him down with her. “Stop taking in the scenery and listen,” she instructed in a hoarse whisper, glad he hadn’t screeched. She’d had a partner who did that once… almost got them both killed…
anyway.
Anya pulled her thoughts back to the present and relocated the sound. “Upstairs, definitely. The footsteps are more numerous to the right. You follow those, I follow the silence. Deal?”

@CWTurtleOfFreedom

“Dying is bad for your health, and I always pass my health exams with flying colors,” Anya whispered with a smirk. “You’d better do the same.”

@CWTurtleOfFreedom

//up to ep10ish of season four

“Are you very sure about that?” Before Spencer could reply, Anya was gone, having slipped through the shadows against the wall (from a couch) and then rolling under said couch. She soundlessly walked through the doorway, blending in with the shadows (I’m really tired of using the word ‘shadows’ but its all I’ve got) and disappearing.

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(Oh. Lol. Did you get my reference, then?)

"Oh my gosh, that woman is going to be the death of me," Spencer muttered under his breath, slowly shaking his head. He went back into the hall, following the footsteps.
