forum If your story was out/published what characters would you not want shipped together, but are afraid they would?

Guardian Star x Sol. Guardian is Sol’s parent, and in human years, is 28. Sol is 7 in human years (though more like 1.5 billion-ish years old, and Guardian is 6 billion years old.) Well, Guardian x anyone really. Star and Lune are human (Guardian actually created humanity, there’s a reason they don’t date their own creation.) The defector black hole boy (I don’t have a good name for him or the black hole civilization yet) would also be a no-go, because A. I’m not sure how the black hole people age yet and B. The boy just escaped a society that wants to kill both him and Guardian, that would NOT be healthy for anyone involved, since he’s still not stable and still unlearning some really toxic stuff.

…I pretty much ONLY write sci-fi/fantasy "found family" trash. My people who edit/review my stuff have to be like. "Hey. Hey friend. You know if someone reads this they're going to ASSUME THINGS."

I think I've written like three romantic relationships in all my time writing. Anyone else is supposed to be PLATONIC. Also, normalize hugging your space parents/siblings all the time, people, c'mon (,:

I'm terrified that if my story gets published people will ship Cherry and Cedar. THEY. ARE. FRIENDS. Also, Cherry is a lesbian. They are really good friends and have known each other longer than any other characters. Cherry lost her memory after she got struck by lightning and Cedar told her everything. They pretty much only trust each other and only have each other, but that does NOT make them a couple.

For most characters, I’m pretty fine with any potential shipping that other people come up with. Even a lot of the ones that strictly speaking, are just not possible.

There is only one ship I’ll hate to see when it eventually comes around.

To put it nicely, one’s a scarred robot girl that tried to

multiple times after a traumatic attempt by a cult leader to “perform Replication” and the other is the cult leader that performed the traumatic replication in the first place then attempted to execute her in an Arena.
Oh, and Pyus also hates any Mech that’s half human “scum”. Guess what Io is.

Aaaaaa! Oh my gooodness! Have I prepared for this one, Ellen and Jake, Jake fell in love with Ellen. But Ellen rejected him going for the girl of her dreams, Harp. Jake eventually got over it dating Chris. But I really thought for a little bit that they would date, so that’s why I think others would to and stick to it.

The only character I have is named Alex. He doesn't get shipped with other characters. He is very lonely, but he doesn't mind.
