“No, and it so totally is..”

"I missed you a lot… What kept you so far away for over six months, anyways…?" Kaito asked softly. "I know that you're a skilled detective, one of the world's best, but to be investigating a case in a different country for that long is just… I missed you…"

“I missed you too baby. But I had to investigate a serial killer.. I still am..”

"So…you just came back home to get me…? Is that all?" Kaito asked. "I still need to pack some stuff if that's the case…"

“Prettyyy much,” he said and sighed

Kaito sighed softly. "Well, I guess we should get home… I'm gonna need to pack…"

“Okay love,”

Kaito nodded as he stood up. "Come on, let's go."

Shuichi chuckled and walked back with kaito

"So, it's nice to have you back at least," Kaito said softly. "Also, once I get packed, can we cuddle at home?"

“You never have to ask love”

"Alright. Then let's just cuddle soon. I missed that."

“Carry me to bed?”

Kaito nodded. "You know I'd do that whether you asked me to or not."

“I know,” he said and smiled

Kaito smiled softly and picked Shuichi up. "I can carry you now!"

“Yeah!”

Kaito laughed softly as he ran back to his house with Shuichi. "Alright, now let's pack up and then cuddle!"

“Okay!” he said and giggled

Kaito placed Shuichi down on their bed before going through his clothes. Most of his clothing by that point had been given to him by Shuichi, so he enjoyed all of it. After deciding on some outfits, he considered himself packed up and laid next to Shuichi.

"Okay, cuddle time!" he grinned. "So, when do we need to leave?"

Shuichi had already fallen asleep by then

Kaito chuckled softly and cuddled with Shuichi. He figured that they could figure things out in the morning. Being with his boyfriend was a much more important thing. It was all that he could think about as he fell asleep himself. It was soon the next day, but he slept in for a while. He missed sleeping with his boyfriend in his arms, so his body allowed him to spent more time doing so. He would definitely feel energized upon waking up.

Shuichi slept heavily as if hed not slept in days

Kaito was also asleep, so he didn't mind. Even if he was awake, he had figured that his lover hadn't been getting much sleep, so it really didn't bother him. He was just glad to be cuddling with Shuichi again.

Shuichi held tight to kaito, his soft whine from not wanting to wake was barely audible

Kaito kept Shuichi close to him for a while. Even after he woke up a few hours later, he continued to hold his lover close to him. He saw no reason to wake him up or move, as he just enjoyed knowing that the other was sleeping peacefully and in his arms.

Shuichi woke a bit later, his gentle return of the snuggle signaled he had woken up

Kaito smiled softly as he noticed that Shuichi had woken up. "Good morning, Shu! Did you sleep well?"

“Mhm,” shuichi hummed softly
