Lor sighed faintly. "Someday." they echoed back, shaking their head faintly. "Maybe. If all goes well, at the very least." they closed their eyes for just a moment, running their hands through their hair.

Sure enough, they arrived at the kitchens. Upon peeking inside, Indigo found it just as busy as before. They looked down at their dishes, back inside the kitchen. “Should we… give these to the staff, or…?”
Lor shrugged faintly. "Uh…maybe we find a pile of dirty dishes and just add these to it?" they suggested, raising an eyebrow at Indigo. "I don't really know what we should do."
Even after a month of living in the palace, it did not compare to over a decade inside the Thistlewell Estate. Things like this, knowing what to do with dirty dishes, were still a mystery to Indigo.
“Ahh, I think that should be fine,” she shrugged.
Lor nodded, leading the way into the kitchen and over towards the side, eventually finding where the dirty dishes were already stacked. "Ah, here we are. This should be fine."
“Alright then.” Indigo stacked their dishes with the others, sorting the plate with the other plates, and the cup with the other cups, and so on.
Lor gave them a quick smile, then led the way back out of the room after they had both put away their dirty dishes. "That's done, now. Is there anything else that we need to do?"
“Well, I don’t want to keep you from your work,” she said, wiping their hands on their chiton. “Besides, I can’t think of anything else.”
Lor nodded faintly. "Of course. I'll see you later, then?" they asked, shooting a quick, faint smile.
Indigo returned the smile. “Sure. See you.”
She made her way towards the prince’s chambers. If nothing else, Lor was nice to have as a friend.
Lor went their own way, heading towards home.
Riven was still sprawled on the couch, half-asleep. His dark curls played around his head in a halo of spilled-ink, his face calm and relaxed. Like this, one could almost say he looked peaceful. Of course, this effect would be ruined as soon as he opened his eyes or spoke a word.
When they saw the prince laying there, Indigo made sure to be as quiet as possible, so to not disrupt him. She slipped into her room, basically their safe space at this point, and looked over their collection of herbs again.
Riven didn't move when she came in, just stayed sprawled across his couch. Sleep was tugging at him, though he had not quite surrendered to it yet. But he was quite tempted to.
(Hhh brain empty, not really sure what to do)
(mood uhhh time skip again? Or??)
(Dfgdgff uhh sure)
(jdhbhbj ok to when?)
(Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhjhjjjhkkhhk)
(fkdhsgbdjgbskjdgbsdkjf)
(Lol the part where they start to catch feelings)
(lmao you sure? we can do that if you like)
(Oh lol I was joking. I do wanna develop it first before we get to that part)
(I was thinking something happens while she’s trying to kill him though, so maybe we can skip to a good day to initiate their plan?)
(oh good lol i was like "that,,,, seems abrupt but okay?")
(yeh sure! maybe the first attempt fails somehow (maybe he notices that the drink tastes odd or whatever) but then by the time the second attempt happens they've caught enough feelings to warn and save him? idk)
(lol yes i have brain cells today)
(That could work, but I'm honestly not sure how I would have them catch feelings? Like, what would she see in him? Like, either she starts liking how he is now, or he by some chance shows them that he has some sense of kindness and compassion deep down, and she starts thinking that he isn't so bad. Or heck, its like a bastard x tired "they're my bastard" kinda dynamic? idk)
(good lol)
(mm yeah that makes sense. tbh i was thinking it's a mix of both? 'n maybe he catches a little bit of feelings first so he gets a little bit nicer and she's like "???")
(Ok sure, that works ^^)
(alright lol. so do we wanna do the timeskip now, or?)
(Ye. You or me?)
(idc, whichever you'd prefer)
