"Perfect!" Astral smiled at Simon as he opened the door, gently taking his free hand in his to lead him to the kitchen. He seemed quite happy, looking back at Simon with a brilliant smile.
"Perfect!" Astral smiled at Simon as he opened the door, gently taking his free hand in his to lead him to the kitchen. He seemed quite happy, looking back at Simon with a brilliant smile.
Simon smiled back at him, very excited himself. It made him happy just to see Astral happy.
Astral led Simon back to the kitchen, hugging him a moment before pulling his seat out.
"Is there anything you'd like? I can make most anything."
“Ummm…” he shook his head. “Just whatever you want to make.”
"Okay then," Astral said, gently hugging Simon again. He moved over to make some sandwiches, humming softly. He still looked really happy.
“Umm is there anything I can do to help?” He asked, setting Mia down on the counter gently.
Mia didn't say a word as she was put down, too worried about what Astral might do to her. Astral hummed in thought, looking over.
"Do you think you could cut up some lettuce?"
“Yeah I can do that.” He said cheerfully, getting up and going over to the fridge to get the lettuce. “Where are your cutting boards?” He asked as he did so.
"That drawer," Astral said, looking over and pointing. "I left the stool out too, it should be by the fridge." The god smiled some, going back to his own task.
“Okay thank you!” Simon said, putting the lettuce down before going and grabbing a cutting board from the drawer Astral had pointed at. After setting that down as well, he pulled the stool over to where he needed it.
Astral looked over as Simon set up, still smiling as he cut up the vegetables. He was thinking a sandwich with a side salad would be enough for lunch. Humming, he worked with some pep in his step, looking happy to be cooking with Simon.
Simon started chopping up the lettuce, actually managing to do it pretty quickly, humming as he worked.
Astral was going quickly as well, smiling some as Simon hummed. He set the few vegetables he'd chopped up to the side, grabbing a couple hard-boiled eggs that soon followed the rest into the mixing bowl.
"You can put the lettuce in here when you think you've done enough," the god said, still smiling.
Simon nodded, and finished chopping enough of it up less than a minute later. He took the cutting board and poured the lettuce into the mixing bowl. “Anything else you want me to do?”
"Well," Astral said, thinking, "Would you rather toss the salad or make the sandwiches?" Astral couldn't help but think of the innuendo as, well, an innuendo, but he didn't really mean anything by it.
((Oop-))
He shrugged. “I can just toss the salad I guess.” Simon being Simon was literally none the wiser. He was just thinking about whichever would be easier for him to not fuck up.
Astral had to keep himself from snorting, nodding.
"Okay!" Astral moved the salad over for Simon, humming some as he started on the sanwiches.
Simon began to toss the salad, making sure everything would mix together properly, humming along with Astral as he did so.
Astral looked over, smiling some. He was a dirty bastard, but he didn't say a word as he put their sandwiches together and setting them on the plates.
"What dressing would you like?" Astral asked, moving over to the fridge.
((Astral go to horny jail I stg- XD))
“Ummmm maybe just ranch dressing?” He suggested, looking over in Astral’s direction.
"Okay!" Astral grabbed Simon's ranch choice, getting poppy seed for himself. He came back over, the ranches tucked against his chest with one arm as he grabbed the plates.
"Could you please carry the salad over to the table?" He asked sweetly.
“Yeah I can do that.” He said with a smile before picking up the big bowl, carrying it over.
"Thank you!" Astral led the way back to the table, careful of Mia as he set the plates and dressings down. He took his own seat, next to Simon's instead of the other side of the table.
Simon set the salad down, also being careful of Mia. Once his hands were free, he picked her up so she was more out of the way of everything happening.
Astral hummed some, looking over.
"You're being very careful with the trinket," he said, smiling a bit as he started to eat. He didn't seem upset at all, which was good.
He shrugged. “Well I like it, and I just don’t want anything to accidentally happen to it if I’m not careful.” Simon explained before beginning to eat as well.
"Mm." Most people didn't constantly carry around trinkets they liked. Astral didn't say anything else, but he was beginning to suspect.
Simon had no idea that Astral was catching on, so he wasn’t too worried. He ate quietly, a soft smile on his face.
Astral was smiling a well, eating.
"You did really good with the salad, thank you," the god noted, smiling sweetly at Simon then.
Simon blushed softly, his eyes focusing on his food. “It was nothing, really, all I did was mix everything together.”
