"Okay…" Lin buried his face in Orion's shoulder, allowing her to hold onto him. "I feel small." He laughed softly.

"You are small. Very cute, like a mouse, or maybe a kitten. Munchkin boy."

Lin flushed a bit. "W-Well, not that small…" He replied shyly. "Just… being in your lap makes me feel small."

"You are small," she said insistently. "And you should be proud of it."

Lin smiled sheepishly, not really entirely sure what to say. "I-I… I'm not that small, am I? I mean, I don't think I'm too far below average in England… are people taller in America?"

"That's a good question. I'm pretty tall, for a girl. I think you're about average."

"Maybe… I know you're a few centimeters taller than me, but I haven't measured myself." Lin shrugged a bit.

"You are small. To me. And I like it." She shifted slightly.

Lin flushed lightly and looked away. "Well… um… thanks, I guess?"

"You're welcome." She tousled his hair. "You're my munchkin boy now."

Lin buried his face in Orion's shoulder, holding a bit tighter to her. "Nooo…"

"Yes. You like it." She grinned. "You are."

"I'm not a munchkin… what is a munchkin?" He asked, looking up at Orion with a confused expression.

"They're the little people in the Wizard of Oz. But I meant that you're small and cute. Like those donuts at Dunkin Donuts."

Lin still seemed pretty confused. "I don't think I've seen Wizard of Oz… and I'm… like a donut??"

"Just forget the Wizard of Oz bit. The munchkin donuts are just the donut's center. So they're small."

Lin kept his eyes on Orion, bewildered. "Uh… okay… if you say so, Orion."

"I do say so," she said. "You are small. The munchkin donuts are small. So there."

"Alright, alright… I don't really know what you're talking about, so I guess I can't argue." Lin sighed and shrugged.

"That's true. Just know that you are very cute."

"If you say so, Orion…" He held a bit tighter to Orion, trying to get more comfortable on her lap.

"Do you want me to move? Just ask," she said.

"No, no, you're fine… I'm just not really sure how to do this in a way that's comfortable for both of us." He laughed weakly.

"Take your time. It's fine." She let go of his shirt.

Lin shifted for another few seconds before he managed to settle down, sighing softly to himself. He still wasn't entirely comfortable, but he figured that was partially because he was in a car.

"You good?" she asked. "We can get out of the car if you want. Go on a walk or something."

"Yeah, a walk would be nice…" Lin sighed again and sat back, running his fingers through his hair.

"Alright then." She pushed open the car door. "You first, obviously."

Lin carefully slipped off of Orion's lap and out of the car, standing beside the door to wait for Orion.

Orion climbed out, closed the door and offered Lin her hand. "Where do you want to go?"
