"Makes sense. Ours were always very simple. I've seen people here with some very brightly colored ones, though. It's a bit odd."

"I hate drawing attention to myself. The bright swimsuits are the worst. Make me have panic attacks."
"Well, you could wear a simple black or navy one." Lin shrugged. "That's what we always wore."
"Still. I feel like it accentuates the worst parts of my body. I loathe them."
"You don't have to wear them then, I guess. Or you could wear a t-shirt on top or something."
“But when it gets wet, it clings to me. I dunno how to solve that.”
Lin shrugged a bit. "I dunno. It's better than nothing, I guess."
"Yeah. I suppose." She pulled on her necklace. "I like how the water feels, though."
Lin nodded, adjusting his grip on the chains. "It's alright, I suppose. What other things do you like doing?"
"Art. I like painting. Mostly I just sleep. That way I don't have to think about things."
He nodded again. "Yeah, I get that… I've never been particularly artsy, though. Maybe I'd be good at it, I dunno."
"You should try. It never hurts to try."
"I guess so. We don't really have any supplies, though. I'm sure we can try it at some point if we get the opportunity."
"We could buy some. If you want." She looked at him. "I could teach you."
"Sure. We don't have that much money though, do we? We should probably save it for essentials."
“I guess you’re right. I’ll see if my sister can send me some money tomorrow.”
"You really don't have to do that…" Lin fidgeted nervously. "I wouldn't want to inconvenience her or anything."
"I'm sure she wouldn't mind," Orion reassured him.
"I can't exactly stop you from doing whatever you want, so you can do whatever you think is best." Lin sighed softly.
“Lin, she has a job. I’m sure a few dollars won’t hurt her wallet too much.”
"Alright, alright…" He was quiet for a bit. "We should probably get jobs too."
“I know,” she sighed. “I’ll work on it.”
"Where could I even work?" He asked curiously. "I don't exactly have a lot of exploitable skills."
“You’re smart and friendly and you seem to be able to think on your feet. At the very least, I’m sure a department store will hire you.”
Lin flushed a bit and looked away. "Uh… y-yeah, I guess. I dunno, maybe I can be a bodyguard or something. I'm probably strong enough."
“Why are you blushing?” Orion asked. “It’s a compliment.”
"Well, I dunno… I'm not super used to compliments, I guess. I can't exactly control whether or not I blush."
“True enough,” she said. “Where do you want to work? If you could work anywhere.”
Lin shrugged a bit. "Dunno. I'm fine with pretty much anything. I guess I'd prefer something more hands on, though… I get antsy if I'm still for too long."
“Really? You seem relatively calm.”
