(Lol hahaha so far, yes lmao)

Cameron laughed a little. "Oh, alright." he replied with a smile, looking over at Calixto and smiling at him. "I need to be on my way, though. I have stuff I've got to do." he went to the door, preparing to open it.

Calixto nodded, moving to sit on the couch. Something told him he might need to evaluate everything that just happened. Watching Cameron made his mind distracted, liking the way the other's bright smile was directed to him alone. Did… did this mean he liked men? Tall men? Or was it specific to tall men who were lonely after a horrible past and somewhat broken as well? He didn't know. Perhaps it just was a nice feeling to have someone to talk to.

It was then that rationality started to hit. He was low key crushing on a Berserker who snuck into his room and had only known him for a few hours, NOT counting the 7-8 they shared in bed.
This whole ordeal was insane.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Cameron left the room after a moment, and closed the door quietly behind him. He headed downstairs, and helped with serving breakfast and with cleaning up dishes. His mind, however, kept wandering back to Calixto. Back to how the other male had reacted to the news that Cameron was a Berserker. Or…hadn't reacted? Calixto hadn't really seemed to care about that, which was…which was interesting.

Calixto sat for a moment, wondering if he should go downstairs to get something to eat. After everything that had happened though? He didn't really feel anything in his stomach aside from something missing. He had confided in someone. Someone he just met. A Berserker in disguise. Who slept with him. It was in the non-sexual way, but it was still highly uncomfortable. Despite this… the room seemed to lack a bit of warmth that the other brought. It was confusing.

@ElderGod-Icefire

(I gotta say that I did not intend for this RP to end up focusing so heavily on the sexual components, but uhm….I have zero regrets lol)

Cameron continued to work, though he was on autopilot. His mind kept dragging back to Calixto, kept remembering everything. He just hoped he wasn't going to be turned in. He hadn't trained as a Berserker since he lost Roshan. And sure, he could still fight his way out of nearly anything, but…it would be far bloodier and messier, since he hadn't done any training.

@Painted-Iris group

(XD it's kinda funny because Cal is kind of scarred in the relationship department and he has absolutely no clue what to do with Cameron lol)

Setting his head in his hands, Calixto groaned in frustration. What was with him? Honestly, he shouldn't have said anything to Cameron. He should have kept quiet. But now… now Cameron knew everything. He saw him hurt himself again. And the other was strangely kind and apologetic about it. It was so confusing. Humans were confusing. Running his hands through his hair, he eventually stood to his feet and left the room. He needed out of this place to think.

@ElderGod-Icefire

(lol meanwhile Cameron is like… "Bed? No? Oh. Okay.")

Cameron continued to work, humming softly as he did so. He smiled and flirted with the customers as usually, but not quite with the same energy that he normally did. He instead seemed to be on autopilot. Just…doing it because he knew he should.

Calixto quickly went down the stairs, not bothering to look in the main dining hall. He went straight out the door. As soon as the fresh air hit his face, he realized he had no idea where else to go. Shoulders slumping, he looked around. There was another bar nearby, other housing, et cetera. Frowning, he walked around the back of the inn, hoping for a ladder that night lead to the top of the building. At least there, it was less likely anyone would find him. Spotting one, he exhaled before hoisting himself up. The bottom was a few feet up so the random passerby wouldn't use it for random reasons. Cal's height gave him the advantage though. Reaching the top a minute later, he simply sat and watched the clouds pass.

@ElderGod-Icefire

(Hey, random and strange question, but do you know how I can PM someone I've already PMed before, and do it as a new PM thread, rather than using the same old one?)

Cameron continued to work. He sang when asked to, smiled and flirted and winked as people left to continue journeys or to explore, but others were staying for multiple days and headed back to their rooms. He just continued to serve food and drink, smiling.

The pale blue of the sky shifted into a creamy orange with swirls of yellow from the fading sun. That too changed into deep purples and magenta, and into a solid indigo.
Calixto sat on the roof still, not caring that the gentle breeze was now cold against his skin. The cold was another thing he was used to. Had been used to. Again, not that he liked it. The shadows had embraced him back then, bringing chills down his spine as they drew closer. At least there were no confining walls up here. And the sun. Oh the sun… It was beautiful. Inhaling, Cal smelt something from the bar beneath him. It was temping with the savory scent, but he didn't feel like leaving the quiet calm yet. There was also the unresolved mental conflict with Cameron. There was something in him that wanted to trust the other, but two days wasn't enough time to break his fortified walls.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Cameron was still working, whistling softly as he did. He wondered vaguely where Calixto was, but he didn't want to pry. He took a deep breath, and continued to whistle. It was about dinnertime now, and he was busy. Dinner was always the busiest time here, and that was showed by how fast Cameron and the other servers were working to keep the customers happy.

@Painted-Iris group

Calixto denied himself food. He didn't feel like coming down and watching Cameron flirt with all of those other people. Why did that matter again?
Maybe it was because of this Roshan guy he was told about. No. No it wasn't, and he knew that. After everything though… He wasn't sure if he could allow himself to love. Love at first sight didn't exist anyways.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Cameron eventually had a break, and came out onto the porch, leaning against the railing and letting out a breath. He began to hum quietly, closing his eyes. He thought again of Calixto, of the male who now knew his greatest kept secret, and had…had accepted that. Hadn't screamed or fought or reported him for being a Berserker.

@Painted-Iris group

Honestly? He felt like punching a wall. He had no idea how to handle these emotions. Is that why his heart longed for company after having a taste of it…?
It was then that Calixto heard the other's familiar humming. Cameron's soothing voice was both rewarding and a bit of a tease. Did he climb down and say hello? Should he attempt to sing along? Okay, no, that last one was probably not a good idea. He couldn't sing for his life.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Cameron took a deep breath, and continued to hum, leaning on the railing and looking out at the city. He wasn't sure what to make of Calixto. For one thing, he could tell that the other male had been hurt quite a lot. That…he had been mistreated, because he had been a slave. He hated that that had happened to someone who seemed so gentle and kind.

@Painted-Iris group

Why did Cameron treat him this way? Sure, he flirted with other people but was that the figurative mask he wore…? He had seemed concerned for him back in the bedroom. He listened to his story. Cameron seemed to care. Finally, Cal gave up and put his head in his hands with a sigh. Part of him wanted to act as the child inside him and let a few angry tears escape, but the other refused. Trained to appear unfeeling. Cold. Hollow.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Cameron glanced up for a moment, almost as if he sensed Calixto's presence, but he didn't try to come up. He didn't like climbing onto the roof. It always felt strange. He sighed, and then began to sing quietly.

@Painted-Iris group

Why's everything gotta be so damn difficult? Cal wondered. It wasn't as if Cameron liked him back in that way. If anything it was the connection between tortured souls that was between them. Souls that have seen war and destruction and could only watch until it was too late. Deciding to break the odd thing going on in his mind, he decided to talk, directing it towards Cameron. "I really don't get you," he said bluntly.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Cameron jumped, a yelp escaping his mouth as he looked up. "Kaifa, don't scare me like that!" He exclaimed to Calixto. He cleared his throat softly. "And as for that…I don't really understand what you mean."

@Painted-Iris group

Cal had to restrain from letting a small chuckle escape his lips. He blinked a moment before letting his head fall to the side. With so many people around, he couldn't quite say as many words as he wished.
"You in general. I… I don't understand how your mind works," he attempted. It sounded so dumb when put so vaguely.
