Alrighty, I think I have a good character in mind. I had a good ship for him, but that person with the other character pretty much left.

Name: Calixto
Nicknames: Cal
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Appearance: Short dark brown hair, lightly tanned skin, hazel eyes that are a tad more green, slight stubble. He's fairly tall at about 5'10 with a muscular build. He has a bit of scarring on his arms and stomach as well.
Personality: Guarded and blunt at times. Usually a bit weary about others due to his past circumstances, so he seems a bit cold at first. He has a bit of the hidden soft spot chiche and shows he cares with a protectiveness. He has no idea how to flirt either.
Clothing: A long black coat with a plain white tee shirt on underneath it and a pair of dark jeans. Usually something dark in color.
Backstory: His race was enslaved for the longest time and the experience was far from pleasant to say the least. Calixto became depressed over time until the year slavery was finally outlawed. After a few years, things have calmed down a bit in his life. He never understood the need to love another woman. It was a man who had mistreated him, but not all men were so controlling. They could be sweet and caring if you found the right one.
Other: He likes cuddles, but you didn't hear that from him. He has no last name because his race had no reason for one. His species is a type that can modify their appearance, but not enough to change their main identifying features (Most facial features, certain body parts ;D)

Age: 22 (age i was thinking in early twenties)
Looks: Cameron is tall, about 6'1" with pale, white blonde hair. His hair is straight and short, and tends to be a little spiky and messy and wild. His skin is white, and very pale. He never tans, just gets sunburns and freckles. His eyes are a bright grassy green. On the side of his left jaw, there's a small tattoo of a spear, which is the mark of a Berserker. He has broad shoulders and a narrow waist, and a muscled, lithe body. He has scars scattered all over from fighting.
Other: Here's my sort of thing with him: So Cameron's birth/home country was taken over, and he and many of his kind (Berserkers) were taken captive to serve in the armies of the conquering nation. Now, though, Berserkers are illegal, and if anyone is discovered to be one, they are put to death, since they are far too dangerous to let live.
