Lee finally opened his eyes. "I give up," He mumbled. "I just can't sleep…."
Max was sound asleep, resting peacefully on the other pillow.
If only there was nothing to worry about, I would be able to sleep better…. He tucked his hands behind his head and stared at the ceiling. …But I bet I'll probably look like garbage if I don't get enough sleep….
Once at his shop Silver quickly checked the time. Midnight. "More than enough time to tidy up!" he sang, knowing he wasn't gonna sleep anytime soon.
Lee closed his eyes and tried to sleep, and eventually he did slip into a deep sleep.
Max was already there, since he'd been resting for hours now.
(Yeah I was running out of things to do anyways!! Lol)
(Overdone much? XD)
Silver went about his normal business in the shop that morning. He hadn't slept last night, though it definitely didn't show.
(Lol I forgot about stuffs, pretend that happened now, idek just go with it)
Max was whining and softly barking, prancing around the bed and nudging Lee.
"Hmmm???…. What….??" He woke up, barely opening an eye as Max licked his face. "Alright!! I'm getting up, you mutt…."
He threw the covers off and got out of bed, turning the fan off.
He stumbled out of his room and into the bathroom to get ready. Gotta make sure I look my best… Lee caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror, and combed his hair, shaved and brushed his teeth. Looking good… But nothing is complete without a nice outfit….
(ok… XD)
Silver hummed happily, throwing some various things in a cauldron to make a cold tonic.
(Yeah realized a few things and was like "oh")
Lee hopped back into his bedroom and opened up his closet. Nothing too rugged… He pulled out a good pair of jeans, then took it back. That has a stain on it…. I need to get that out…
After digging around, he pulled out some black dress pants and a simple white buttoned up dress shirt. Perfect….
(Wow he must really be crushing on Silver to get dressed up like that!)
Silver sighed, changing into a nice shirt and pants. Then pulling his hair back in a loose ponytail before heading back downstairs.
(I know :3:3:3)
Lee got his clothes on and dressed himself up all nicely. He turned to Max. "How do I look?"
Max barked happily, and he turned to go downstairs. He reached the mudroom and slipped his regular shoes on, even if they did seem a bit worn. He slipped into the kitchen. I bet he's gonna want some… He put two slices of the sunflower cake in a glass container and went to the door. He put his black cap on and watched Max come down the stairs. "I'll see you later, Max!"
The dog barked happily at him as he went out the door. I bet he's as excited as I am!
Silver hummed to himself quietly as he dealt with a few people that came by his shop, pausing to chat with Jake.
(Wait where is this east gate thing? I should've asked earlier)
(Eastern gate in the town walls?? We were supposed to be doing victorian…. but hey…)
(Well like is Lee's house out east? I want to make sure I get this right, I dunno I don't wanna get this wrong)
(I'd say it's more north or south… it doesnt matter which way he comes in… Remember Silver took the long way home…)
(That's right…. Dang… Okay.)
Lee headed up the road and into the city. Wow… This feels so weird since I'm not carrying my usual goods… He trudged up rhe streets, pulling out Silver's address. Hm… I'm on the right street now… He thought, turning a corner.
Silver finally shooed Jake away, finally able to make the last potion he needed for the season.
Lee traveled up the street, passing buildings one by one. Hm… Let's see… I think it should be around…. Maybe…. Ah! Wait… No…
He walked a bit further. Here we are! He thought happily.
Silver was buzy measuring out a special liquid, carefully dripping it itno a soltion, drop by drop. Can't mess this up now….
Lee approached the door and up the stoop. I hope this is right… It should be, anyways… He stuffed the address in his pocket and knocked on Silver's door with the knocker. I hope he's here… That would be embarrassing….
Silver heard a knock at the door, "It's unlocked!" he called, still focused on the potion he was making, adding the very last drop of one elixir to another.
Lee opened the door – which was unlocked like he said – and went on inside. It was quite a nice place, with decent furnishings and stuff like that. Yet Silver was off in another room, so Lee wasn't sure where he was. "Silver?" He called, "Where are you?"
"Right here" he said, appearing in the doorway with an armload of various vials and stuff.
"Oh," Lee suddenly said, his brow scrunching. "I didn't know you were gonna be busy today…." Or he might just be finishing up… "I didn't mean to interupt you with… Whatever it is you're doing right now."
"Don't worry!" said Silver happily. "I was just cleaning up!"
"Oh… Well that's a relief…" Lee glanced around a little bit then back at Silver. "Do you need any help? It looks like you have your hands full…."
"I've got it" he said, carefully setting each one in a particular place in a nearby cupboard. "Please, make yourself at home!"
Lee carefully walked further into the place, unsure if it was really a shop or a home or possibly both. “This is a very nice place….” He said under his breath. “Very nice….” He’s gotta be so happy living here… it’s so upkept and well maintained…
Silver peaked out from a back store room, "Thanks! It can be a little hard to keep up with.. but you run a whole farm single handed!"
