Calix nodded. "Well most don't get drunk here. Or have stopped getting drunk here. There have been many incidents."
Calix nodded. "Well most don't get drunk here. Or have stopped getting drunk here. There have been many incidents."
He heard the sigh and turned to the man. "Something wild. Canine. But that isn't all. You," he pointed to Damian. "Dark. Ancient. From before man was man." He looked up, directly at Firiko. "Same thing for you, but something more raw. Aggressive. Like a flame."
Firiko gave him a weird look, "What in the world are you talking about??"
He shook his head. "No, not flame, not aggressive….Something similar, yet total opposite….light?"
"Seriously what are you talking about?" asked Damian, noticing the conversation.
"I sense the energy off of you two. Untapped, granted, but still very powerful."
Damian shrugged, rolling his eyes, "So you sense auras?" he asked.
"More than that. I could explain to you the exact abilities you have or still could, when, and even where you got your magic. Such as the wolf in you two. Obviously since birth."
Damian blinked in surprise,
"Well that's a first" commented Firiko.
He could tell them all of these things, yet gave off no magic. All of the signs pointed to him being normal, yet he just read the two like open books.
The silver haired girl stumbles back into the tavern, an orange haired man following behind protectively. She flops into a chair. Her footsteps leave a trail of glowing blue blood.
“Bartender, I need something strong,” she calls out. Foxchild(the man) stands by her side, lightly stroking her hair comfortingly.
(They both would radiate magic from their entire being, and are where-beasts. The girl has a particularly strong magical signature)
"Alright. But by law I must ask if you are old enough." He said as he got a cup of their strongest liquid.
Damian noticed the blood, his eyes flicking to the girl, and back to her footprints.
He rubbed his nose again. "You." He pointed to the girl. "Something strong. Primal, but not in the figurative sense. Literally a wild animal. Werebeast?"
Firiko watched him carefully, trying to figure him out.

The girl looks angry.
“I am almost two hundred years old. I may seem like a young girl, but I assure you that I have seen and done things you could never comprehend.” She momentarily glows with a purple aura, and begins to shift. Black wings sprout from her back and horns extend from her head. Her skin turns from pale white to pitch black, and scales cover her body. Before anyone can react, she morphs into a black dragon with raging purple eyes, and stares at Calix murderously, purple flames gathering in the back of her throat.
(Side note: she is not big enough to completely crowd the tavern, to break through the roof, but she is still much larger than anyone else in the room, and looks like she could probably kill you all if she tried)
He watches her, his expression never changing. "He didn't say anything insulting. He's just literally following the law"
Firiko flew down, backing away slightly.
"Calmate" said Damian, also moving away.
Foxchild shakes his head.
“Sorry, she’s in a bad mood. That happens when she literally bleeds from every pore in her body.” He puts a calming hand on her paw, and she takes a deep breath, still in dragon form. She nuzzles his head, and then shifts back into a girl. Foxchild morphs into a sleek fox, and she picks him up, petting him like a puppy.
"Plus, I mean, he's an angel. 200 years is pocket change for one of them."
Calix nods. "I have to ask literally everyone. No matter how old they look, FYI." He said then walked over holding the cup. "Here you go."
Firiko scoffed, "200 years is nothing, I've met spirits older than that."
"Granted, I won't live for half that, but I'm probably the only human in the room."
"technically me and him are both half human so no, you're not." said Damian wryly.
"Ah, but did I say half human?"
The girl takes a sip of the drink and grimaces, before taking a few more large sips.
“The drinks in this tavern are nothing like what we have at home. They are disgusting.” She continues to finish the drink. Foxchild rolls his eyes, still in fox form.
"Two half humans make a whole" said Firiko with a smirk.
He turned to the girl. "That was a little rude."
"Honestly, I don't drink much. But I agree drinks are not great here." He replied then went back to the counter.
(I want to bring Calix's boyfriend into this but I don't know how.)
