"I, sure. I can go for a walk," Cicada stood up from the bed and stretched a little. She smiled over at Phoenix trying to cheer him up, "Come on. Let's go."
"I, sure. I can go for a walk," Cicada stood up from the bed and stretched a little. She smiled over at Phoenix trying to cheer him up, "Come on. Let's go."
A smile peeked up on his lips, as he held a hand out to her. "I can lead the way… once we're out of the building. If you could lead us downstairs once again, that would be lovely."
"I can definitely do that," Cicada responded with a little laugh taking his hand happily. She began to make her way to the door unlocking it, "Where do you want to go?"
"I dunno. I don't really have anywhere specific in mind." Phoenix shrugged, trying to pick a place to go. "We could go to the same place we went yesterday. Or back to the library."
"Or we could wander around?" Cicada offered opening the door for Phoenix to go through, "That would be fun as well."
"True… I just don't normally do that." Phoenix laughed lightly, stepping through the door. "Even when we were out and about in town, I had a set destination in mind."
"Well maybe we should try that," Cicada laughed a little with him shutting and locking the door behind them. She had a smiled on and began leading him through the dorm to te exit, "You know, just wander the campus. I'm a bit more impulsive ya know?"
"I'll probably map a destination anyways. But we can try." Phoenix hummed, holding on to her hand tightly in his own. He was like a little kid, anxiously waiting to start going. "You should probably lead."
Cicada laughed again as she made her way down the stairs and through the front door bringing Phoenix with her. She had a huge grin as she looked out on the sunny world, "Alright. Let's get lost!"
"Yeah… let's get lost." Phoenix repeated, not as assured as Cicada had sounded. Though if she was sure, he would follow behind her. He had told her so.
Cicada looked at him as she led on. Her posture was confident and she stood tall, "Oh come on, it'll be fun! I promise."
"I'll hold that to you." Phoenix hummed, letting her pull him along. "But I trust you, I told you I'd follow you anywhere."
"Does that mean you'll follow me into a fight?" Cicada asked him making sure her tone was clearly teasing rather than anything close to serious, "Or into a bar?"
"Definitely into a bar, so I can pull you back out. To a fight, probably. I'll just be cowering behind you." Phoenix shrugged, standing up straighter to stretch his back.
Cicada laughed at his response and bumped him a little, "Alright! So let's hope we get lost in a bar! Or ya know, end up in a bar. I'm kidding."
"I know you're kidding. But like, if we ended up in a bar, you'd probably order straight alcohol, and I'd be trying to get apple juice." Phoenix chuckled, relaxing more as they walked on.
"Hell yeah, I would get alcohol," Cicada had a determined look on her face though it quickly melted to a mischievous look, "ALso you could probably get water at a bar."
"No, I'd get 'apple juice' and wind up drunk. They'd give me some crap I definitely don't want." Phoenix snickered, giving her a light smirk. "I mean, I'd probably not question it until it was too late."
"Oh I'm going to have to try that at some point," Cicada responded snickering lightly. She had a good smile on her face as she kept wandering aimlessly on campus, "I'm sure you'll be able to tell pretty quickly."
"Yeah, but sometimes I'm just an idiot. So maybe, maybe not." Phoenix shrugged as he focused on her instead of their surroundings. "I may or may not know what alcohol tastes like. Even if I'm only nineteen."
"Ooo, have you been drinking before Phoenix?" Cicada asked glancing over at him with a devil looking smirk. She kept going letting the buildings past them.
"Well… I may or may not have gotten into my mom's stuff before. Until she found out about it." Phoenix hummed with a shrug, pursing his lips a bit. "So yeah, I'm a bad child."
"Wow, I didn't know you had it in you," Cicada had a big grin on and bumped him lightly. She was having fun just talking with him, "Taking your mom's alcohol and drinking it."
"Trust me, I was terrified when she found out." Phoenix laughed, tipping his head down to the ground. "And it was terrifying before I did it, but like, it was thrilling."
Cicada threw her head back a little as she laughed and her smile grew by the minute. She looked back over at him, "If it was terrifying then why'd you do it? You didn't have to dink your mom's stash."
