Cicada laughed as she smiled at him, "We'll have to change that soon, won't we? If you want to travel around at least. Hmmm, do you drink coffee?"
Cicada laughed as she smiled at him, "We'll have to change that soon, won't we? If you want to travel around at least. Hmmm, do you drink coffee?"
“I’d love to get to… and yeah. As I had coffee earlier, you can know for sure I’m not lying.” Phoenix chuckled, kicking off again to give himself a push.
"Oh right," Cicada blushed slightly in embarrassment for forgetting that detail, "You do drink coffee. Well, that was a question wasted. Ummm, I can't think of anything at the moment."
"It's all good, I can go if you want. I've got a few questions I can ask. And their mostly original." Phoenix offered with a slight smile, picking which question to ask first.
Cicada laughed as she smiled back at him, "That would be appreciated thanks. And you can ask me dumb questions like my favorite color too."
He smiled, pushing off again to give him a good swing. "I've got weird questions first," Phoenix told her as he swung back and forth. "What hand do you write with, and if both which do you prefer?"
"I do write with both," Cicada responded a little shock he figured out she was ambidextrous, "And I prefer my right thank you very much."
(I didn't actually know that- lol)
"Oh cool, that's a fun thing to know." Phoenix hummed with a soft smile as he began to decrease in speed once more. "Do you have a favorite pen?"
"Not really," Cicada shrugged. She had never really gotten attached to her writing utensils, "A pen is a pen though I prefer red ones."
Phoenix smiled, nodding at her response. "That works for me," He hummed, pausing to pick a next question. "Favorite frozen desert?"
"Ooo ice cream," Cicada responded with a big grin on. She kicked herself a little bit higher, "Especially any flavor with a lot of chocolate or cookies and cream."
"Mmm… that sounds good, now I want ice cream." Phoenix laughed, licking his lips as if he had already had some. "We should go get some, afterwards… Favorite movie?"
"Sounds like a plan to me," Cicada laughed a little as she looked at him. She thought for a moment hard trying to pick a good movie, "God there's so many I can't decide. Frozen maybe?"
"Really? Huh… guess I wasn't expecting that." Phoenix snickered, pursing his lips. "Here's one, what's the worst pickup line you've ever heard?"
Cicada glared at him slightly in good fun. She couldn't help but relate to Elsa just a little bit. She rolled her eyes at the next question, "Oh that's an easy one. It's between 'did it hurt when you fall from heaven?' and 'are you from Tennessee? Cause you're the only ten I see.'"
Oh the irony. Phoenix laughed nervously, trying to just relax at the last comment. "Well, on that note, what's the best pickup line you've ever heard?" He asked, continuing to kick at the ground to swing higher.
"Don't think I've ever heard a good one," Cicada responded after a bit of thought. She continued to swing slowly as she couldn't to think, "A lot of times it's either the bad ones or cat calls with me. Occasional butt slap too," those guys learn quickly not to do that again though, "but never any good pick up lines."
"Oh great… I deeply apologize if it happened to ever be any of my friends. I know for sure I've never done anything like that." Phoenix told her, swinging high off the ground. Once he hit a certain point, he jumped off stumbling to the ground with a laugh. He fumbled around on his feet, falling back on his butt still laughing. "That worked."
"Sweet!" Cicada had a grin on as she laughed slightly seeing him stick it. She swung a bit higher before jumping off joining him on the ground landing with some grace. She didn't fall like Phoenix had, "And it hasn't happened in my time here, yet. So you don't have to apologize."
Phoenix tipped back, laying on his back looking up to her. "I still apologize for men in the past." He informed her, resting both hands on his stomach. Studying her face, he noted how pretty she really was. Of course he had noticed before, but as the setting sun at the prettiest tone to it, it gave her a stunning look as well.
Cicada gave him a smile and leaned over him. He looked pretty relaxed and he was cute when he wasn't all stressed out like he had been for almost the entire day. Her bangs fell in front of her face and she pulled it back behind her ear, "You don't need to apologize for them. They were them and you are you."
"But society lumps us all together. 75% of men are considered rude, and disrespectful. 20% of them are mostly pro feminism and go over the top, with the whole equals that they act like they aren't even men anymore." Phoenix mumbled, trying not to flush as she hung over him. "And that last 5% is guys like me, who know how to balance things."
Cicada kept herself from laughing. He had a point, but she was more curious as to why he knew those statistics and could pull them off the top of his head. She gave him a smile as she stopped leaning over him to sit down next to him, "Good thing I'm not all of society then. I'm just Cicada."
"And just Cicada is enough for me…" Phoenix sighed weakly, tilting his head to look at her from an angle. "Honestly, I'm glad you came to talk to me. I'm not normally the social type." Snickering softly, he threw an arm over his forehead with a slight sigh.
“Not a lot of friends I take it?” Cicada asked with a slight laugh. She let one of her legs lay straight on the ground while the other stayed close so she could rest on the popped up knee, “I’m glad I talked to you too by the way. Your a pretty cool guy.”
