"There's the possibility." He hummed with a light smile, his whole self seeming to wake up the more he ate his food. After a minute or two, the girl came back with two iced waters. "Here you are, can I get you anything else?"

@ShadeStar

"Um no I think we're good thanks," Cicada responded with a grin on at the girl. She looked back at Phoenix seeing him wake up a little as she took a sip of the water, "Yeah a possibility."

Shaking his head at the young lady, he smiled softly as she walked off. "If all you ever got was one of those places like Little Caesars or somewhere like that, you've only ever had halfhearted pizza."

@ShadeStar

"I've had Dominos if that counts," Cicada let out a slight laugh, "And maybe one proper Chicago deep dish, but that's about it. So if that counts as half-hearted pizza, then yeah I have."

@ShadeStar

"Definitely not the best, too much filling not enough dough for my liking," Cicada responded with a grin, "And Dominos is good and you can fight on me that you hear me."

Chuckling lightly, he took another decent bite for talking again. "I'll fight you, if you say it's the best. I'll most likely loose if it's a physical fight. Maybe not if it's a verbal one." He mumbled, sipping from the cold glass of water.

@ShadeStar

"It's not the best, but it's not awful either," Cicada responded with a laugh pointing her pizza slice at him, "That's my stance. And what makes you so sure you would loose a physical fight? I'm a tiny little track player."

Glancing up to the number ten hovering over her head, he shrugged a bit. "Just… an instinct, I guess. Besides, I'm not good at fighting. I would know best, after I ended up with a broken the last time I tried to pick the bone with my sister." He hummed, shifting his gaze back down to her face.

@ShadeStar

Cicada caught his eyes going to above her head again. She had no idea why that area was so interesting. She gave a slight shrug, "Hey if you an instinct go with it. I've learned my lesson not listening to my instincts before."

"I just don't want to end up the hospital again," Phoenix hummed softly, remembering how painful it had been. Just thinking about it sent short spats of pain up his arm, causing him to react by holding onto it. "I mean, would you?"

@ShadeStar

"No, no I wouldn't," Cicada responded quietly holding onto her arm. She brushed away the bad memories and feelings by forcing a smile on and letting go of her arm, "Is your arm doing fine now?"

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

"Hmm?" He asked, having been focused on her holding her own arm. "O-oh yeah, it's fine. Every once in awhile I feel twinges of pain. Nothing I can't handle." Phoenix hummed with a soft smile.

@ShadeStar

Cicada smiled though it was still a little forced as she nodded to him. She had to forget about that time, about her parents' death, about her years in foster care, about her years with him. She took a sip of water, "Glad it healed up fine. Was it a full break or just a fracture? You don't have to answer, I'm just curious."

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

"A clean break in my wrist. I have to hand it to my sister, she knows how to break your arm." He laughed weakly, trying not to think about the feeling going up his arm. "You almost finished?" Phoenix asked, attempting to switch topics as he finished off his own pizza.

@ShadeStar

"Yeah," Cicada nodded with a smile as she finished up her last bite. She understood the want to change the subject and took a sip of her water. She leaned back in her seat with a grin, "How about you?"

@ShadeStar

"Yep," Cicada finished up her glass figuring she couldn't take it with her. She saw Phoenix ready to tip and pulled out her own wallet to do the same. She stood up from the booth and slipped out, "I'm guessing you are too?"

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

"Well, yeah. But I'm thinking ten might be a bit much if we're both tipping." Phoenix mumbled his thoughts, glancing up to Cicada. "How much are you tipping? I'll probably do the same." He hummed sliding out as well.

@ShadeStar

"Oh if your tipping for both of us then just leave the ten," Cicada responded giving him a slight grin. She still pulled out her wallet though, "I'll just pay you half of the ten if that's okay."

@ShadeStar

"No, I'll feel bad if I didn't pay you back," Cicada responded unaccustomed to the gesture. She was used to people paying for her drinks, but never for food. Especially not for tips, "So please?"

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

"Alright, fine. I'll probably just use it to pay for something, for you." He hummed with a light laugh, holding an arm out to her. "Are you ready to go? Or do you have something else you need to do?"

@ShadeStar

"No, I'm ready," Cicada gave him a five-dollar bill and then took his arm. She couldn't think of anything else and the idea of him buying something else for her with the money she gave her was still strange, "And please just keep the money for yourself."

@Rainy_day_artist_classic group

"We'll see what happens." Phoenix hummed with a wink, folding the money into his wallet. Tucking it into his back pocket, he led her along outside. "Where to now? Any where you think you'd want to go?"
