Cicada happily continued along. She didn't spot Savannah's car, though assumed it would be out in the front. Maybe Cicada should go alone to check out and grab her bag, since Phoenix didn't really have anything in the hotel.
Phoenix hummed softly, leading her up to the hotel. Pushing the door open, he led them both in through the doors with a soft sigh. "Well, I guess this is it. We can officially get out of here."
"Yeah, I'll go grab my bag, do you maybe want to see if you can find Savannah?" Cicada suggested looking up at him. She had a slight smile on even though her eyes hinted at a slight worry, "I can check us out as well."
The way she asked led him to believe she wanted him to go find Savanna. The tone of her voice, yeah, that led him to believe she wanted him to go with him. "I don't mind going with you. I can at least check us out, if not go up with you to our room."
"Okay, thanks," Cicada sounded a little bit releived. She really didn't want to be alone while in this town, but she figured this might be okay. Her smile seemed to relax, "Why don't we go up together and then check out?"
Phoenix nodded, allowing her to lead him on up to their hotel room. He leaned over to kiss her cheek, squeezing her hand a little. "That sounds good to me. Whatever makes you feel better."
Cicada started to make her way up to the room with Phoenix next to her. She had a soft smile on after the kiss and his comments, "Yeah, you're a great boyfriend. You know that right?"
"I try my best. I'm glad it's working." Phoenix hummed, giving her a soft smile in return. Slowly he continued to stride along her side, reaching their room with a light hum. He pulled out the key, handing it over to her. "Madam~"
"Thank you sir," Cicada replied with a smile on. She took the key and opened up the door before stepping in to grab her bag. It only took her a few moments, and she gave a quick scan of the room in case they left something else in there before stepping back out, "All ready."
Phoenix was waiting for her outside the room, texting with Savanna as he waited. He glanced up at Cicada when she spoke, giving her a smile. "Alright, darling. Let's head on down, shall we?"
"Sure," Cicada smiled and reached for his hand. She let out a little sigh and began to make her way to the lobby, "Let's check out and get out of this town."
Phoenix smiled softly, kissing the top of her head. "Of course, darling. You don't ever have to come back." He hummed, knowing that wasn't an exact promise he could keep. But he would try his best.
Cicada knew that wasn't a promise he could keep, or something he could even ensure, but it made her feel better. She leaned just ever so slightly into him before letting out a happy sigh, "Yeah, of course."
Phoenix gave her a soft look, continuing to lead her on back down to the lobby. He kept quiet as they walked, plenty content with just holding her close to himself. Finally they were on their way out of the hotel, Phoenix leading her to one of the nicer looking cars in the lot.
Cicada shouldn't have been surprised at the nice car Phoenix was leading her too, but she was anyway. Why did Savannah have such a nice car? Cicada shrugged and looked up at Phe, "Your sister has a stupidly nice car."
"I know, right?" Phoenix laughed some as they reached it. He pulled the back door open for her, leaning gently against the frame. "She tends to brag about it, because she knows I like her car." He added on, hearing the front door pop open, and Savanna getting out. When the taller female was out of the car, she put both hands on her hips as she looked over to Phoenix. "You owe me big time, Phin." She snapped a little, before coming up and wrapping her arms around him.
Cicada waited by the card and gave a little smile at seeing the two siblings together. She sort of recognized Savannah from campus, that and Phoenix had pointed her out to him a couple of times. She may have gotten in, but it felt a little rude to do so at the moment.
(Sorry for the word dump. You don't have to post near as long, lol)
Phoenix laughed weakly when Savanna pulled back, running a hand through his hair. "Sorry… I didn't plan on it, though. My car had been working perfectly." He insisted, flinching a little when she flicked his nose. "Sure thing, dork." Savanna hummed, stepping back.
Besides a few similarities, the two didn't look like siblings. Unlike Phoenix, Savanna had a lot softer features. All except her fiercely sharp eyes. They weren't exactly cold. especially when she smiled, but menacing none the less. Her longer brown hair was pulled up out of her face, revealing the thinner figure around her shoulders.
In all honesty, she was plenty attractive. Her curvy figure, played on by her choice of clothes, helping the attractive bit. She was just as tall as Phoenix- if not, taller with her heels- seeming to be standing extra tall with her good posture. She kept up her smile as she turned to Cicada, offering a hand to the more petite woman. "You must be Cicada." She hummed, her slender hand held out to her. "I'm Savanna."
Cicada gave the taller woman a smile. Why did everyone have to be taller than her? (Cause you're authors a meanie) It was almost instinctive the slight changes Cicada made half conforming to her old mask of popularity. Her posture straightened and she attempted to appear more… Ditzy and feminine. Despite all of this, it was still a calloused hand that took Savanna's hand and shook it once, "Yep! I'm Cicada. It's nice to meet you Savanna."
Savanna had noticed the slight changes in her figure, but didn't comment on it. If anyone understood what she was doing, it was Savanna. She wasn't going to expose her for the little bit of shift in appearance, especially since Savanna herself was always trying to fit the social standards. "It's nice to meet you, as well." She hummed as she stepped back. "You didn't tell me she was so cute." She whispered to Phoenix as she ducked back into the car. Leaving Phoenix to roll his eyes some, focusing back on Cicada.
Cicada gave him a little smile after Savanna left. She didn't exactly here what Savanna had said, but assumed it was about her in some way. She looked at Phoenix, "You didn't mention your sister was as cute as you."
"I'm not about to lose you to her, am I?" Phoenix joked, loosely placing his hands on her hips. He kept up a little smile, leaning down to peck her lips with a hum. Carefully he pulled her closer, one hand reaching up to hold her face. "I can't lose another to my sister."
"Nope," Cicada hummed leaning up against him. She appreciated how he gentle he was with her even when she had just been joking, "I'm all yours. She doesn't really seem like my type anyway. Not dorky enough."
"Mmm, good. I don't want to lose you- especially after the last day and a half." He added, laughing weakly as he nosed against her cheek. He pressed a few soft kisses to her face before starting to pull back. "Alright, let's get out of here. We need to get home, and get you to bed."
Cicada laughed a little his kisses tickling her face just ever so slightly. She let out a little sigh as he pulled away from her, "I suppose, but why do I need to go to bed? What about you? You have classes to you know?"
