"Yeah," Cicada sighed before going back to eating. She really missed a few places in this town, but she was also really happy to have left. Now, she was in a bit of a better place with a lot better of a guy.

Phoenix nodded a bit, contently eating his food. He had a gentle smile up, happy to be here with Cicada. Even after his earlier melt down. At least he hadn't gotten too bad this time…
Cicada was really glad that Phoenix was doing better once more. She had hoped that once the food came this would happen, and the fact it did made her even happier.
(I'm sorry for not responding… yesterday was quite busy, and by the time I got home, I didn't really have the energy :P)
Phoenix glanced up at her after a couple of minutes, reaching for a napkin. "Mm, you doing any better?" He asked softly, wiping his face and hands down.
(You're fine! I'm gonna be really busy this next week or so. Moving on to campus and all that jazz lol)
Cicada nodded a little pausing in her eating. She gave him a smile as she went to wipe her own mouth as well, "Yeah. How about you?"
(Ahh, okay! I wish you good luck on that!)
"Mmm, I think so. I've kinda just stopped thinking, so nothing's bugging me." Phoenix shrugged, giving her a soft smile. He seemed decently happy at the moment at least.
(Thank you!!!)
Cicada gave a smile back at him. She hummed softly, "I'm glad, even if does just mean you aren't thinking. Unless you're thinking about how good the food is?"
(Of course! ^^)
"Mm, it is good, I'll give you that. I never caught the name of the place, though." Phoenix hummed, glancing around the room in a more curious way. "What's it called?"
"{Insert name cause it's been an hour and I still don't have one lol}" Cicada responded after a bit of thought. She knew the place well, but the name always seemed to escape her at the moment.
(Oof, lol)
"Ahh, okay." Phoenix nodded a little, reaching out for his water. He sipped from the glass with a little smile. "Mm, do you know if it's a local place? If it's only local, there's clearly no other locations."
"I think it's only local," Cicada responded deep in thought. She had stopped both her eating and drinking as she did so, "I haven't seen it anywhere else at the very least."
"Mm, alright. I might try to look it up when we get back home." Phoenix hummed a little, going back to eating with a little smile. "Maybe we can find another one?"
"Hopefully," Cicada responded with a slight smile. She would really like that, since this place was one of her favorites places to eat. But after how badly everything ended with Breck, there was no way she would be able to eat here, "I would really like that."
"Well, I'll let you know if I find anything. For now, we can enjoy it while it's here." Phoenix hummed softly, giving her a little smile. He continued to eat, starting to let his thoughts sink in. Maybe he could surprise her with it?
"Yeah," Cicada nodded with a soft smile before going back to eating. She honestly would miss this once they had to leave, but it would be for the best. For now, she would enjoy her food and having Phoenix here.
(I'm gonna make the assumption we can skim over the rest of the dinner. If you wanna keep writing for it, I can totally change my response.)
With the rest of the evening seeming to fly by, Phoenix seemed to light up a little as his phone did. Quickly glancing over the text message, he hummed a bit at the information. "We should head back. Savanna is waiting for us at the hotel."
(That works with me.)
Cicada hadn't even realized how much time had passed until Phoenix mentioned his sister being at the hotel. She blinked a little and smiled over at him as she thought, "Yeah. I think we still need to check out of the hotel too."
"Mhmm… did we bring anything in our room with us? I can't remember…" Phoenix mumbled, standing up after piling his dishes. He glanced up at her, smiling softly. "If we did, we should probably go get it."
"I don't think so… I might have left my bag in there, but that would be it," Cicada admitted after a moment. She stood up as well feeling her smile grow soft like his, "Yeah, just my bag and then we can check out."
Phoenix nodded a little, carefully wrapping an arm over her shoulders. He kissed the top of her head as they started walking, leading her up front. "Can I pay?" He asked softly, hugging her a little tighter.
Cicada hadn't been expecting him to pull her into this half hug, but she didn't mind it one bit. She leaned just slightly into him as she thought for a momnent, "I, um, sure. I don't even think I have my wallet on me to argue with you."
"Mmm, thank you~" Phoenix hummed, laughing softly. He led them up to the front, paid, and then started out on the sidewalk. "I totally wasn't paying attention to where we were walking. Where's the hotel?"
"It's over this way," Cicada laughed as she tugged him along. She couldn't help but be happy right now, especially since they were leaving soon.
Phoenix smiled softly, letting her pull him along. It was nice to see her in a good mood- considering it also put him in a pretty good one himself. "Alright, alright, I'm coming."
