@ElderGod-Icefire
(alright! But like. What lmao)
Smoke blinked again, reaching out to help her up.
"What?" Nik asked.
(alright! But like. What lmao)
Smoke blinked again, reaching out to help her up.
"What?" Nik asked.
(I… maybe Derlik goes to Nik's apartment to pick up some things for him and the ex is there? Isk lol)
Twili took the hand, standing on shaky legs.
"I think Twili hit her head on something. She's… she's hurt."
(hmm the ex didn't know where Nik lived so idk if that works)
Smoke blinked at her uncertainly.
Nik frowned a little. "Does she need help?"
(Well, what if he encounters the ex on the way? It'd be harder to tell, but if the ex is annoying enough Derlik would do something to them, then when Derlik gets back Nik is close to losing it because he recognizes them)
Twili ended up leaning against Smoke, the blood still trickling down some.
Derlik thought a moment, then nodded. He stood, making his way into the forest to find Twili and Smoke.
(ooh yeah maybe like. the ex recognizes Nik and thinks he and Derlik are dating, so he goes up to Derlik with the intention of just. being a complete fucking asshole and spilling Nik's history as a prostitute?? and stuff? maybe?)
Smoke wrapped his arm around her, blinking a little as he tried to figure out where to go.
Nik got up to follow him quietly.
(Yeeeees. Derlik gets protective as hell which doesn't help with the assuming their dating at all lol)
(and the dude is totally ending up dead or smthin)
Twili closed her eyes slowly, trying to open them again.
Derlik made his way through the trees, coming up to Smoke and Twili.
"Here, give her to me," he instructed, looking so worried.
(:D yeees and Nik is just like. having a full-on panic attack bc he thought he wasn't ever going to see this guy again)
(jhbjhb ok)
Smoke blinked up at Derlik, and gently moved to give Twili to the god.
Nik was silent, looking worried.
(Yeaaaah and when Derlik's done dealing with the dude he turns to Nik to try to help him)
Derlik held Twili gently to himself as the girl began to cry.
"I've got you, I've got you…" The god raised a hand to Twili's head, working on healing her up.
(ye perfect!)
Smoke shifted anxiously, watching Derlik and Twili with wide yellow eyes.
(and he fails miserably because he doesn't know what the hell he's doing XD)
Derlik took some time, finally pulling his hand away to hug Twili close.
"Feeling better?" he asked softly. It was much different than what happened with Nik- he was more like a father at this moment.Twili nodded some, hugging back and keeping close.
"We'll make sure to not let this ruin our day, yeah? Everything's okay sweetie…"
(lmaooo)
Nik was quiet, looking away and biting his lip a little bit.
"I've got you…" Derlik kissed the top of Twili's head, hugging her until the wolf finally pulled away. She signed somethng to him, and he nodded.
"Love you baby girl, please be careful okay?"
Nik was quiet, biting his lip faintly.
Twili nodded one final time, turning back to Smoke. She grabbed his hand, offering a small smile as she pulled him away from the adults. Derlik sighed softly, watching them go.
"Shall we head back?" He asked, turning to Nik.
Smoke smiled as he followed her, tail twitching faintly.
Nik blinked. "Oh. Sure." He said softly.
Twili let out a breath of relief as she and Smoke left, her smile only growing as they continued.
Derlik nodded once more, turning back towards the way to the clearing. He didn't speak about how he had just acted with Twili, how out of character it seemed to be. Instead, he folded his hands behind his back, carrying on and giving Nik space to follow.
Nik followed him silently, frowning just a little bit. He hadn't thought that Derlik was even capable of caring about someone like he had just done. It was…strange.
The god paid no mind to Nik's pondering, as it would seem. He sat down on the boulder once they arrived, folding one leg over the other neatly.
(gtg sorry)
He sat down on the boulder as well, silent and considering everything that had happened.
Derlik didn't say anything because, well, he didn't expect anything to change when it came to how Nik viewed him. He'd been an absolute asshole, after all, and the god doubted Twili had been giving him glowing reviews.
Nik shook his head faintly, closing his eyes.
Derlik was intrigued by the head shake, tilting his own. He didn't bring it up, though, letting out a breath instead.
Nik was quiet, swinging his feet back and forth.
At least Nik wasn't freaking out anymore. Without a word, the god shifted his legs around, pulling them close to himself.
He glanced up for a moment, then closed his eyes again.
