Ollie sighed. "Because…. I don't want you to. And I don't need anything in return. Just please, don't pay me back."
Ollie sighed. "Because…. I don't want you to. And I don't need anything in return. Just please, don't pay me back."
Anna sighed. "Well, I really want to pay you back. Are you going to tell me no? Hmm?" She arched her eyebrows and continued putting away more groceries. "I don't deserve to have you spending your money on me," she remarked.
Oliver nodded, keeping his stance. "Yeah. I will tell you no, and yes! You deserve it! Hell, that money was for food, and that's what I spent it on, so it's all good."
Anna looked at him pointedly and inhaled sharply. "Fine. But only this once," she added quickly. "Don't get any ideas." She opened the refrigerator to put away food, and conveniently hid her small smile.
Ollie smirked, striding to the table. He slowly put away things, watching where Anna wanted each item as he smiled to himself. It did feel good.
Anna was so focused on putting things away that when she shut the door and turned back to the table, she turned right into Ollie. "Oh!" she exclaimed. "Sorry!"
Ollie caught her, holding her arms in his gentle hands as he chuckled nervously. "You're alright! I shouldn't have snuck up on you." He laughed, helping her back up
Anna found herself relaxing in his gentle embrace as he caught her. She popped back up with a flush and shy smile. "Excuse me," she murmured and reached around him to grab something else.
Ollie blushed, looking over his shoulder to watch her hands then moved slightly out of the way, running a hand through his fluffy hair
Anna put the last item away and sighed. "There," she murmured. "All finished. What would you like to do now?" She turned her warm eyes to him with interest, a bit of the flush still remaining on her cheeks.
Ollie scratched the back of his neck, chuckling ever so slightly as their eyes locked. He couldn't speak for a moment, gathering his senses before clearing his throat. "M-maybe… maybe we could get away from the house?"
Anna's eyes lit up at the suggestion. "Wonderful idea! I never have the time to go out anymore. Where would you like to go?" She was already flitting around, gathering her keys and coat and purse.

(thanks!! <3)
Ollie chuckled, tilting his head from side to side as he thought where he should take her. "Maybe…. the park? The market? Both?" He tapped his fingers, leaning against the wall
"The park sounds lovely," Anna remarked, slipping her arms in the sleeves of her stylish coat. "I could take you to buy some clothes as well, if you like."
Ollie grinned excitedly, shifting into a kinkajou in his excitement. He chittered frustratingly, then nodded in approval.
Anna's eyes widened. "Oh!" she exclaimed, laughing quietly. "Excited, are we? Well, I can't take you shopping for clothes in that form." She buttoned up her coat and slipped her purse on her arm with the keys in her hand.
Oliver shifted back, shaking himself off as he ran a hand through his fluffy hair. His face turned crimson, only making him smile a bit more. "S-sorry." He chuckled, clearing his throat as he went to open the door for her. "You ready?"
Anna flushed softly as he opened the door for her. "Yes, let's go, shall we?" she stepped outside and into the chilled fall air. She sighed and smiled, enjoying the sight of the beautiful city before her.
Ollie grinned courteously, holding the door while he stepped outside and admired the way she… saw things. The city had always treated him badly: threw him on the streets, took away the little income he had, so he had always seen it as a terrible monster.
But, today, it looked much different.
''Let's go! He cheered, stepping out into the brisk winds.
A gust of wind picked up, and Anna wrapped her coat tighter around herself. She shivered, but she was grinning widely all the same. Just down the steps, her car awaited, and she unlocked it to slip into the driver's seat. "I was thinking we could head to the clothing store first," she said, starting up her vehicle.
Ollie stopped, already far down the street as he noticed the revving engine. He blushed, returning back to the car and slipping into the passenger seat. "That sounds good." He mumbled, embarrassed as the started off onto the road. "Please, nowhere too expensive."
Anna chuckled as he entered the car, and she pulled out of her spot. "Nonsense," she replied easily. "It's my treat to you." She hummed along softly with the song on the radio and came to a stop at a red light. She took the moment to glance over at Ollie and smile. "And you can't talk me out of it."
Oliver grumbled in response as he shakily fastened the seatbelt, though he couldn't stop the ever growing smile that tugged at the corners of his lips. He smiled up at her unison with the music, almost getting lost in the sound of her content, before he was shaken back to reality.
"I'll damn well try." He said with a smirk, tapping his fingers on the dash.
"I said what I said," Anna purred. "You can't talk me out of it." She began to drive again singing very quietly along with the song on the radio. "Cause I'm in a field of dandelions / Wishing on every one that you'd be mine, mine / And I see forever in your eyes / I feel okay when I see you smile, smile…"
