Anna laughed quietly. "You love your nickname, don't you?" she teased him, knowing he couldn't shift back in front of Lena. She stroked his fur down the length of his back and grinned. "Yes, you're a cheeky little bugger, aren't you?"
Ollie stifled a growl, letting out soft chitters while he swished his tail a bit more. Though he had to admit, he kind of liked the attention. He went back to laying on her chest, listening to the rise and fall of each breath while continuing to calm her pain
Anna laughed quietly. "I knew you liked it," she murmured, sighing quietly. The softness of his fur soothed her, and she couldn't help but flush a bit at the thought that should Ollie shift back now, he'd be laying directly on top of her.
Ollie had the same thoughts run through his head, looking down to observe Anna's soft skin and wondering what it would be like… to be in his other form…
he quickly shook the thought, squeaking while he clambered closer, still eyeing the rest of the ambulance. Hopefully we can leave soon, and Anna can get fixed up.
The ambulance came to a stop, and Anna was guided into a bed for non-emergency patients, and a nurse came over with a small smile. "Hi, honey. How are you feeling?"
"Better," Anna answered honestly. "Much better. Honestly."
"Alright, we're going to run a few tests just to check everything."
Ollie stayed put on her chest, continuing to gently stroke her soft skin while he watched the nurse with caution. He might get sent away, and he didn't want that. He wanted anything but that. He chittered softly, assuming a defensive position in front of Anna's face while he raised his tail
Anna's eyes widened. "Oh… hello," she muttered, pushing his tail down. "Relax."
"Uh, is your pet going to be staying with you?" the nurse asked, setting up some machines to regulate Anna's heartbeat and blood pressure.
"Yes," Anna said quietly. "If that's possible, please."
Ollie blushed, realizing what he'd done while he backed away, suppressing his animalistic tendencies while he hid his face.
Oh…Senhor, me salve…
Ollie then curled up again, content with the fact that he got to stay, while snuggling closer to Anna.
Anna began to stroke his fur again.
"Alright, there should be a doctor in with you shortly," the nurse said, pulling a curtain around the bed as she left.
She waited until the curtain was completely draw before she muttered, "If you need to shift, do it now before anyone else comes."
Ollie sighed with relief, clambering off on Anna before plopping onto the floor, shifting while he stretched.
"Anna I… Foda-se… I am so sorry. I don't know what I was thinking and I really should have stayed and-" His ramblings were cut off by his own guilt while he tightly crossed his arms. "I am so sorry"
Anna shook her head. "This would've happened anyway. It's not your fault at all, so don't think that for a moment." She reached out toward him and smiled. "In the ambulance… you were doing something, weren't you? Healing me? I felt it."
Ollie blushed, rubbing his arm while he smiled slightly.
"metamorfos…. we can heal. I sensed your pain, and so I took it." He mumbled, a bit embarrassed.
Anna looked first amazed, then confused, then worried. "You took my pain? As in, you felt it instead of me? Why would you do that?" she asked quietly. "I didn't know you could heal people."
