(The song fits Anna. Sue me ;P)

Ollie chuckled, watching Anna intently as he made up a harmony to her melody, trying to match her sweet tone with his unruly raspy one. In all other situations, he would be utterly embarrassed. But here, he was safe.
Soon enough, the bright lights from departments stores lit up the car's interior, and Ollie grumbled in distaste.
Anna looked over at him for a split second as he sang with her, and she flushed softly. She bit her lip to avoid smiling like a madwoman and pulled into the parking lot. "Here we are!" she chirped, looking over at him. "Possibly try and act like you want to be here?" she suggested, parking her little car and shutting off the engine.
Ollie groaned sarcastically, suppressing a laugh as he opened the door, making his way to Anna's side to open hers.
"I really appreciate it. I just hate when people do things for me, it makes me feel bad." He chuckled distantly, clearing his throat before looking up at the building. "Especially gestures like… this"
"Well, you need to get out of that mindset," Anna insisted, smiling faintly. "I'm treating you. Now, let's go in so you can get some clothes that won't remind me of my ex-husband." She winced suddenly. "Sorry… I didn't mean… You know what? Let's just go in. Make a time of it. Mall coffee actually isn't as bad as people make it out to be."
Ollie sighed, the froze at her statement. He looked down at his outfit, feeling very ashamed, before scamepring after the woman. His nervousness brewed inside him as he wrung his hands together, feeling more and more uncomfortable in the clothes. He wanted to apologize, he wanted to tell her he wasn't going to deceive her like… he did, but his words failed him, and Ollie was silent.
Anna noticed the sudden quiet that came over them, and she bit her lip. "I'm sorry," she apologized again. "I didn't mean to say that and make you uncomfortable…" She strode through the mall's door and looked at home among the boutiques and clean-cut appearance of the place.
Just as they were passing a store full of flashing lights, someone called out her name. "Anna!"
Normally, she wouldn't have stopped. Anna was a common name, and she didn't want to embarrass herself by thinking whoever it called the name was talking to her when really they weren't. But she froze instantly. She knew that voice. As she turned, a well-dressed man headed towards her, coming from the "flashing lights" store. One glance behind him told Anna all she needed to know – it wasn't a store, it was a casino.
"Harry," she greeted, straightening herself to her full height and arching her eyebrows at him. "I didn't know you would be here."
"Small world," Harry replied easily. His eyes cut to Ollie, wearing his clothes. "Ah, who is this?"
"This is my friend, Oliver," Anna introduced briefly. She seemed very uncomfortable with the whole situation.
Ollie still kept quiet, trailing behind Anna while he observed every detail, every person, watching closely for danger.
It wasn't too long before he found it.
A low, inhuman growl came from Ollie's throat as Harry approached, the smell that hung over the man was enough to tell the shapeshifter who he was.
"Nice to meet you. We have things to do." He stated, taking Anna's arm and pulling them away, he wanted nothing to do with that bastard who hurt her.
Anna's eyes widened, and she stumbled in her heels at the sudden pull. "Oh! Um, lovely to see you, Harry," she called in parting and quickly focused on righting herself to walk naturally. Her heart was racing, even from the small interaction, and she looked over her shoulder to make sure Harry wasn't following them.
Ollie continued to growl, holding tightly onto the woman as he lead them out of view from Harry.
"I'm so sorry." He muttered, looking back with her in fear. "I just… I couldn't stand him"
Anna nodded quickly. "Yes, it's alright," she whispered, ignoring how she'd nearly twisted her ankle. Anna would be the first to admit that she wasn't exactly the most graceful person at times. "I should have known that wherever there are casinos… there's Harry." She tried her best to keep the bitterness out of her voice.
Ollie rubbed her arm, giving a gentle smile before noticing a restroom.
"Oh, uh, is it alright if I leave for just a moment?" He asked nervously
Anna looked confused for only a moment before she followed his gaze and flushed. "Oh, yes! Yes, of course. You don't have to ask me, you can… yes!" she stammered, smiling faintly. Noting a bench by the wall, she strode over and seated herself on it. "I'll be sitting right here."
Ollie blushed and nodded, darting inside, before darting back out in his kinkajou form, slinking along the ground and trying to stay out of eyeshot. It wasn't long before he found his way back to Harry, standing in front of an ATM. Soon enough, Ollie pounded, sinking his sharp teeth into the man's skin
Harry yelped and kicked his leg out, making contact with something solid. "What the hell?! Get off of me!"
Anna jerked her head up and snapped her phone shut. She quickly shot to her feet and rushed around the corner to see her kinkajou biting Harry's ankle.
Ollie growled, recovering from the blow and hissing as he circled Harry. It wasn't long before he leaped again, opening his mouth and baring claws for another attack on the man who had hurt his Anna
Anna rushed at them. "Harry!" She bit her tongue to avoid yelling Oliver's name, but she would've. She ran as fast as she could for wearing heels, and she stomped her foot on the ground. "Come here!" she demanded, knowing Oliver would listen to her.
Ollie looked back, realizing how far his animalistic instincts had taken him, and quickly felt the raging pain of guilt. He scampered away, looking around for a place to hide, before settling for one of the large plants inside the mall.
Anna hurried over to Harry, promising herself that she'd check on Oliver later. "Harry, are you alright?" she asked worriedly.
Harry nodded curtly, but his ankle was bleeding a bit. "I should be getting home anyway," he said, wincing as he started to walk. "Get back to your date, Anna."
Anna let him go, hurrying over to where Oliver was hiding. She took off her coat and held it out subtly. "Get in," she muttered.
Ollie whined, receding deeper into the leaves while he shook his head. He couldn't show his face around her, he couldn't. He didn't even deserve to live with her anymore, or accept any clothes she gave him. His tail twitched with nervousness while he closed his eyes and clung to a branch. Please, just go
"Get. In," Anna repeated. "I'm not going to ask you again. Now. I know you can hear me."
Ollie shook his head vigorously, scampering higher up the plant while he covered his face with a small clawed hand.
Anna's heart dropped, and she slipped her arms through the sleeves of her jacket. "Fine. Have it your way. I'll have to drive Harry to the doctor's then…"
