It had been maybe another couple months later, in the dozy season of late fall. She and Cain had a quiet wedding together, the only guests being Cain’s sister, Blizzard, a priest picked by Cain, and her own brother to walk her down the aisle. They had decided to do a traditional wedding, and Aliana had picked her finest and whitest dress for the exchanging of vows and the kissing.
The after party, even though it was small, was very fun. Aliana was able to see usually upright Sumika somewhat relaxed and happy for the occasion, and of course Blizzard went nuts with Aliana and the dancing.
At the end of it all, it felt nice to lay down with Cain and sleep with him. And now it was a week before the honeymoon they had planned (a far away place called Sweden), and Aliana was packing up her old room, planning to merge her room with Cain’s. Blizzard was getting food for her with Sumika, and Cain was meeting with some outsiders on important business matters.
When Blizzard and Sumika returned to announce that the food was ready after Cain’s meeting, Aliana was gone. Her clothes were still folded neatly on the bed, the windows shut tight like they always were, but the only thing that showed she had been dragged out a window was her broken dramophone. By the time the pair of friends had come for her, Aliana’s kidnappers were quite far away.
It was actually in a house in the far next town, where she was sprawled out in the sitting room. She slowly regained consciousness after being knocked out by her musical machine, but then she was abruptly jerked awake by a kick to the face.
“Sit up, livestock!” An above, male voice growled. Aliana had to obey, as she sat up slowly, her entire body protesting. She felt dried blood at the top of her head and crusted her hair. Her body was shivering as she looked up at the few vampires who kidnapped her. One was the priest from their wedding, one was the male who looked quite happy with himself. He had sleek white hair and he was wearing long robes of dark red.
“This is excellent, Rumius, thank you very much,” He hummed to the priest, who gave a sarcastic bow, glared at Aliana and walked out of the home, which was also dressed in a bloody red.
“What should we do with her, then?” The vampire asked his companion.
(Reeeee)
(Thanks love!)
Cain had burst into a rage after he found Aliana missing. Sumika hurried off to find her as Cain sat in the garden. "Please tell me there something…" He whispers as he looked down. He sighed softly and looked down. Sumika stood behind him and shook her head. "No, brother. There's nothing regarding Aliana." Cain stood and sighed. "Very well." He says softly as he exited the palace. "Blizzard with me."
The companion smirked, half of his face covered by a mask. "Perfect. She'll make a handsome ransom. But I want my revenge against Cain." He hissed lowly as he gazed at Aliana. "So lets make this interesting." He purrs.
(Oh you’re the companion btw, since we agreed we’d both have a captor.)
(Gotcha Lemme edit that)
(yiiiiis queen)
(Thanks love!)

Aliana glanced back and forth between the pair of men, her head throbbing hard. She felt faint and woozy, and the floor seemed to dip under her. She wanted to open her mouth to speak, but when she did a dribble of blood just came out from a few broken teeth.
“We don’t want Cain to know she’s here yet,” The second man growled, also hiding behind what looked like a velvet-covered mask. “Surely you’re not thinking of treachery on the level of Cain? We will not touch her like he will.” Be stepped forward and glared down at her. He grabbed Aliana roughly and threw her into the middle of the room, where she barely gathered strength to stand up with balance, still waving in place with her head ducked.
Blizzard hurried to Cain's side and Cain hurried through the gates and into the forests, his eyes from a soft gold to a bloody red, vengeance clear in his gaze. He was never going to lose her again. Never. He hurried towards the nearest village, hoping to find some answers.
"Agreed." he growls lowly. "No. We will not touch her like he will. But we will make her hurt in more ways then one." He growls. "I want Cain to suffer as much as I have." He hisses and smirks. He gazes at her for a moment. "Such a pathetic thing. Cain was a fool to let you live. Honestly. I wonder if he only wanted her for her blood. Even then, I doubt hers is very tasty."
Aliana’s own blood from the jagged cut in her scalp trickled down her soft, fine skin as her blue eyes stared unseeingly at the carpet below her. The vampire standing closest to her jerked her head up as to not get her blood on the carpet.
“She was born as a filthy thing, and perhaps we should treat her like Cain did when he found her at his doorstep.” His lips twitched into a grin over pointed, heavily stained teeth. “If he wanted her for blood he wouldn’t have married her.” He turned his attention back to Aliana, who had stumbled back with her head straight back. He noticed a chain around her neck and pulled on it, revealing the bright green stone at the end.
Cain’s people seemed to hide under his angry red glare, innocent vampires scrambling, the pure nobles running after him in attempts to ask him what he needed.
Cain had rarely stepped out of his castle, so people knew that when he came out it was important. "I want every house in my kingdom searched! Leave nothing unturned! I want Aliana found!" He orders, his voice raw with anger and anguish. Whoever took her would pay with their lives.
The male beside him smirked as he watched Aliana. "Look at her. She's not even putting up a fight." He growls. "She's a weakling. Submissive." He hisses as he kicks her side. "She doesn't say anything." He sneers at her and picked her head off the floor. "She acts more like a pet then a royal." He glances at the necklace. "What's that?" He asks as he gazes at the stone.
The nobles hastened to do the job as the innocents scrambled to clean their homes to make them look somewhat approachable as the guards and army workers were summoned. This whole town was cleansed of impurity, but the next towns over were far from such, even thought they were still under Cain’s rule.
Aliana winced just in the slightest, but it felt like it was a distant prick in her side. She was just dreaming. The pain in her head was so immeasurable and throbbing it took all of her attention, killed all of her words, and scarred her vision. The other vampire was turning the stone over in his long, filthy fingers, humming faintly.
“It appears there used to be a protection spell on this. I wonder where it went.” He tried to tug off the necklace, but it didn’t budge. At all. The vampire’s face twisted and he started to pull as hard as he could, but it didn’t do anything at all. The tugging of it seemed to wake Aliana up just a little, her head tilting forward in the slightest with the pulling, and her own will.
Cain worked tirelessly as he searched. Sumika came to his side. "Brother. I believe I have someone you should talk to." She states coldly, throwing the priest forward. "I believe he was the one to give whoever took Aliana." She growls. "Have you received the information?" He growls as he stares at the male. She nods. The priest trembles. "You." He hisses. In a flash, blood spattered across the pavement. Cain left the priests body on the ground. "Find her."
The other growled. "Why won't it come off?" He growls. He shoved his partner out of the way and grabbed the chain, tugging it but to no avail. He hisses and tries harder but only falls back. "What witchcraft is this?!" He screeches.
The other vampire threw his companion away similar to the way he did, grabbing it roughly in his hands and twisting it. He decided it’d make a better weapon, and indeed it did. Aliana drew in a gasp and her hands jumped up to the chair as soon as it restricted her neck, pulling it desperately. The pain from not being able to draw air broke away the pain from her head, as she choked soundlessly, her face turning a faint blue as she gasped soundlessly for air. It was until the very last moment the vampire let her go, where she gasped loudly, writhing on the ground on which she fell. The very necklace she trusted had been used as a weapon. She went to feel if there was a wound left over, perhaps swelling, but there was not. No trace of anything…
The male gazed at her, his eyes dark. He watched his companion use it as a weapon, smirking as she flailed uselessly. He chuckles and nudges her side. "Like I said earlier. Weak." He hisses as he gazes down at her. "What Cain even saw in her is a mystery to me." He growls. He didn't seem happy at the moment. He hums. "I'm deciding whether or not we should leave her body drained somewhere for Cain to find." He hisses.
She squeezed her eyes shut and slowly. She wanted Cain to appear and help her. “Cain Nightshade,” She whispered very softly to the shadow of a chair, as if investigating how quietly she could say it. She was his wife, and yet she was still being treated like Human trash.
“I don’t think we should drain her. Perhaps we should hurt her enough so that she will barely be alive. Perhaps then he’d be tempted to kill her himself.”
Cain heard the faint whisper and his head shot up. He was furious, he was angry, and that made his hatred grow. Her voice was so weak, so frail. "Sumika. You know what to do." He growls. She nods and takes his hand. The shadows enveloped them and they shot through the darkness. He arrived in front of the house. He raised his hand and Sumika nods.
"True. But I would love to see the agony on his face at the sight of his lifeless wide." He growls. "Humans. Such disgusting creatures." He hisses as he gazes at her.
The second vampire looked thoughtful as he looked at her down his sharp nose. “Mmm… I don’t want to get the taste of her blood on my tongue, though, I think we both deserve much better. How about we just toss her somewhere and wait for her to starve?” He seemed particularly violent in more ways than one as he smirked slightly.
It had to work, it had to work it had to work, Aliana whispered to herself, squeezing her eyes shut to ignore the outside vampires.
Sumika threw the door open, not even hesitating in the slightest to take down the first vampire, she clawed at his face, his eyes and sunk her teeth into the nape of his neck, ripping out his spine. Cain attacked the other, his hand going straight through his stomach, and slashing his head clean off. He heaved with anger and chaos, wanting nothing more then to kill them over and over again. But he calmed and hurried to Aliana's side. "Love?" he asks gently, picking her up, his eyes wide as he gazes at her. "My moon, please…" He brushed some hair from her face.
Neither of the vampires were even able to think before they were struck down and slaughtered. Aliana didn’t uncurl until she felt friendly, soft hands, the hands of her love. She blinked open her blurry blue eyes and just gazed at him, managing just the smallest bit of a smile as he talked to her, more of her blood dribbling down her soft cheek. She grunted quietly in response, but also managed to whisper, “It worked.”
Cain holds her gently and smiles softly. "Hello love." He whispers as he gazed down into her blue eyes. He was absolutely terrified about her injuries. She looked like she had been put through hell. He kissed her forehead softly. "Let's get you home and taken care of." He whispers gently as he picks her up carefully. He smiled gently at her but he grew concerned. He could possibly take care of her, but it would turn her and he wanted that to be her choice.
