"I… I'm not sure," Samul admitted softly. He kissed Larkin's hear, looking up. He searched with his eyes a moment for the clock, letting out a breath.
"I… I'm not sure," Samul admitted softly. He kissed Larkin's hear, looking up. He searched with his eyes a moment for the clock, letting out a breath.
"Mm… alright. I think we should stay in for a little bit, yeah?" Larkin sighed softly. "Give ourselves some time to… to settle down…"
"I agree, for sure." Samul gently rubbed Larkin's back, settling down.
"Mm… maybe we can watch some trashy TV to get our minds off of things…" Larkin huddled up against Samul and closed his eyes.
"Sounds good to me." It wasn't a hard thing to find, on the television, wondering Samul knew they could both agree on without upsetting Larkin.
"Mmm… I love you…" Larkin mumbled, keeping his eyes closed as he listened to the secondary drone of the television.
"I love you too…" Samul mostly kept his attention on Larkin. He was just so worried… His energy-fiiled, puppy of a boyfriend, hurt so much…
Larkin shifted uncomfortably every once in a while, staying silent for far longer then he usually did. He was obviously still a bit rattled, and he wasn't really sure how to handle it.
Samul wasn't really sure either, and that's what scared him. Instead, he would do everything he could to help Larkin feel better.
"I've got you…"
"Mm…" Larkin tucked his head under Samul's chin, allowing the other to hold onto him. "What are we gonna do from here?" He asked softly.
"I'm not sure," Samul said softly. "But I'm promising you we'll find a way to help you feel better."
(What should we actually do lol)
(Hnnn… it might be interesting to see how Larkin handles the next time he has to go outside)
(True aha. Should we timeskip to then?)
(yee)
It had been a couple of weeks, but he couldn't avoid it any longer. He had to go out of the house. Larkin exhaled shakily as he thought about it, pacing the house, but… his professor wouldn't let him take a test online. He had to go in for it.
Samul was ready for his day already, doing his best to help Larkin.
"I'll be right with you while we head there," The man promised softly. "And I'll be right there when it's over."
"Okay…" Larkin held tightly to Samul's hand as he tentatively cracked open the door. He looked around to make sure there was no one there before hurrying out.
Samul kept right by Larkin's side, hand firmly in his boyfriend's.
"I'm right here," Samul said softly as they continued.
Larkin stayed very close to Samul as he walked, occasionally tugging down his beanie to make sure his ears were covered. "At least we won't be out long, r-right?"
"Right." Samul kissed Larkin's cheek lightly, wrapping an arm around the man after a moment.
"And we'll go right back home afterwards."
Larkin nodded a bit, fidgeting nervously with his hands. Once they reached the building, he hurriedly pulled Samul inside and sighed.
Samul stood with Larkin a moment, wrapping his arms securely around him.
"We made it, see?" the man said softly. "You're okay…"
"For now… what if he's watching?" Larkin whispered shakily, tucking his head under Samul's chin as he trembled.
"He doesn't know where you go to school," Samul said softly. "He doesn't know." Samul held Larkin tight to his chest. He gently ran his fingers over his boyfriend's back, making sure his hat was on securely.
