Ava smiles softly at him before following her head to drop onto the pillow. It’s been a long day. She nestled up under the blankets, though making sure to leave some from him. Turning over, she faces him and readjusts her head so it’s tucked against his chest. She likes to be able to look at his face when they’re talking but she’s not willing to stop snuggling. This is the compromise.
“So am I. Dying was not on my to do list for today.”

Cameron followed her head down onto the pillows, knowing full well how she liked to talk to him as they dozed and started to sleep. He loosened his grip a little as she moved around, waiting for her to get comfy again before hugging her again. He didn’t ever have to move too much. It was a pro for being the bigger (literally) person in the relationship. If you move too much it makes snuggle time hard to enjoy.
“Yeah, a funeral arrangement right after wedding arrangements is sort of melancholy.” He laughed.

Ava settles down after squirming for another minute. Now she’s perfectly comfortable and she can still see him. Stifling a yawn, she can feel her body wrestling with her mind as one fights to stay awake while the other fights for some sleep. Though she could really use the rest she’s a little too worked up to actually fall asleep.
“People would be wondering if you decided to off me after growing tiresome of our marriage,” She jokes lightly.

Cameron laughed and shook his head. "I think it'd be the other way. You'd get tired of my snoring and stick your fingers up my nose and suffocate me." He snuggled her closer, dipping his head closer to hers, kissing her cheeks gently. He was of course kidding about the suffocating thing. He didn't want to hurt her feelings and she knew he joked about snoring a lot since they fell out about it.

"Don't put any ideas in my head." Ava hums softly, smiling a little in amusement. "Mm, I'll just fall asleep before you so I won't have to suffocate you because of snoring." The snoring hasn't gotten any better but she finds that if she gets to bed before him than there's more of a chance of her being able to sleep without the noise. As long as they don't have to fight about it again, she's more than happy to deal with it.

Cameron wasn't really planning on doing anything about it, but he did miss their pre-bed chats and actually falling asleep with her. He just hoped she'd get used to it when they were married so she didn't actually suffocate him in his sleep.
"I know you hate it but I bet you can't sleep without it. It's like white noise." He laughed again, grinning his big smile.

Ava curls up, yawning quietly. If need be she'll just buy some earplugs. That'll hopefully help with the problem. There's no point in making a big deal about it when she knows that he can't control it. She won't lie, she strongly considered smacking him with a pillow to shut him up but she hasn't resorted to such means as of yet.
"White noise? I'll take beach sounds over your white noise any day." She laughs, shaking her head in amusement at him.
