"You're welcome. You…Lulu, right? Yeah, you're going to a seperate room for stitches. You - Eric, I think - stay here," She explained, before gesturing for Lulu to follow her out.
"You're welcome. You…Lulu, right? Yeah, you're going to a seperate room for stitches. You - Eric, I think - stay here," She explained, before gesturing for Lulu to follow her out.
Eric chewed his lip slightly, fiddling with his phone as they left.
((Time skip?))
((yeah))
Lulu opened the door of Eric's room again - with her good hand, not the one in stitches. She'd just finished her own operation and needed to check on Eric.
Eric looked up, smiling. "How'd it go?"
Lulu smiled back, holding up her arm. "It went fine. Barely felt a thing. Your leg?"
"They think it'll be fine. Actually almost hit a important vein." He said, laughing slightly. "But I'll be fine."
"Good," She said, leaning back over his shoulder again. "Find anything else while I was gone?"
"A few more shady death, some more violent ones that sound like something out of a nightmare." He said, shrugging. "And get this- I've found several people where their birthday lines up with another person on the list's death day- going up to three or four possible reincarnation!" He said, a bit excitably.
"Wow." Her eyes widened. "Found any on Kathleen? She's the only one they got, after all."
"Her birthday lines up with the death of Janie Meg Arrow." He said. "Who was know, surprisingly enough, for being really reserved outside of her music and politics."
She tilted her head. "Kathleen do politics?" She didn't seem like the political type, but you never know.
(gtg now for sleep n stuff)
((Okay. Good Night!))
"Yeah. She just doesn't bring it up." He said offhandedly.
Lulu made a little clicking noise with her mouth. "Well. Yep, that's her, then."
He nodded. "But why are they doing this?"
“I don’t know.” She shrugged again. “I can ask Kathleen later today when I leave. If, you know, I do.”
"If you don't mind." He said, smiling."
“Yeah, I will. Anxious to get out of here anyway,” She admitted.
"Mood." He said, typing on his phone. "I'll just give her a heads up."
((Actually me))
Lulu nodded, standing. “I’ll come back tomorrow, though. My parents want me back tonight.”
"Alright." He said, humming slightly.
“Yeah.” She said, standing in the doorway and not wanting to really leave, for some reason. Looking at him now, he seemed…almost cute?
She looked away quickly, saying a swift goodbye before stepping out and shutting the door behind her.
He bid her goodbye, laying down. "Shit, how late even is it?"
It was ten when Lulu arrived home, much to the disappointment of her parents. They didn’t notice the stitches, though, and Lulu didn’t think they needed to.
Eric sat awake against the pillow, digging through the internet.
