"And… uh… y-you pet me, and we cuddled… and cat things like normal…" Cas's face was bright red now.
"And… uh… y-you pet me, and we cuddled… and cat things like normal…" Cas's face was bright red now.
Sorin's smile was broad. "You are adorable."
Cas trembled slightly, embarrassed. He still couldn't make eye contact with Sorin.
Sorin held him tighter and kissed his temple.
Cas squeaked again and hid his face in Sorin's chest. His tail quivered as he clung tightly to Sorin.
"Why so nervous?" he pecked him on the bridge of his nose.
"I'm… I'm f-flustered… and embarrassed…" Cas murmured, his heart racing.
"Don't be."
"What do you mean?" Cas glanced up at Sorin.
"It's just me, Cas. There's nothing to be embarrassed about," he held his hand.
"W-Well I just told you about my weird dreams… like, we're not even dating and I'm having dreams about cuddling with you and kissing you, and… I-I probably shouldn't be… it's not very respectful of you…"
"Would it make you feel better if I asked you out on a date?" Sorin asked, rubbing Cas's knuckle with his thumb.
"What?" Cas seemed surprised, but not necessarily upset. "I… y-you would want to?"
"Of course I would! Why wouldn't I?"
"Well… I dunno…" Cas said after a pause. Honestly, no, there wasn't any reason he wouldn't want to. The whole 'not being fully human' thing wasn't really a problem, since Sorin wasn't either.
He kissed his cheek. "Hey, you are perfect the way you are-ears and all. Don't think otherwise."
Cas smiled softly and hugged Sorin tighter. "Thanks… where would you even want to go?"
"How does a picnic sound? Or maybe the movies?"
"Sounds good to me." Cas purred, closing his eyes again. He wasn't going back to sleep yet, though.
Sorin kissed him, hugging him closer.
Cas meowed softly, pressing himself up against Sorin. "When do you wanna do it?"
"Tonight," he dragged his thumb across his lips.
"Alrighty." Cas looked up at Sorin, the gold in his brown eyes catching the light briefly.
"What do you want to do in the mean time?"
"We could go downstairs? We… we bought the cat things and all…" Cas didn't really want to say 'toys'. It made him feel stupid, honestly.
