Cas sounded out each letter again. "Y… Y-You..?" He replied tentatively.
Cas sounded out each letter again. "Y… Y-You..?" He replied tentatively.
"Yes! That's it!" he was ecstatic. "Okay, okay, now write A-R-E."
Cas grinned and wrote 'are' in all caps, which seemed to be the only way he knew how to write them. "Um… Air? N-No… airy…?" He struggled for a second, not processing the silent letter.
Sorin didn't want to interfere with his learning, so what he did was nod encouragingly and sounded out the word with him without giving away too much.
Cas was silent for a few seconds, trying to understand. Sorin hadn't told him he was right yet, which meant he was wrong. "…Are..?"
Sorin heart pounded. "Yes! Uh… M-Y."
Cas wrote the word and looked at it. "Mmmmm… Y. My?"
"A-N-G-E-L."
He seemed a bit confused by this one after he wrote it. "Angle? An… an gell…?"
"You're almost there…" he stared at him in awe.
Cas took a moment to figure out other ways the letters could be pronounced. "An gel? No… angel! Angel's a real word…"
"Yes!" he restrained himself from showering him with kisses. "Okay, can you read the whole sentence for me?"
Cas read over the line of words, taking a minute to figure out what each one was again. "You are… my… You are my angel!" He said with a grin, not seeming you realize what he'd said.
"I am your angel… as you are mine," he pecked him on the bridge of his nose.
"Wait…" Cas processed what he'd said and flushed red. "You tricked me!" He grinned, laughing. He kissed Sorin's cheek gently.
"But you read something, now," he gave him a few quick pecks on his lips.
Cas nodded and kissed Sorin, holding the other in place now. His tail quivered, which again seemed to be linked to positive emotions.
Sorin kissed him back, tenderly, and pulled him closer.
Cas purred against Sorin's lips, enjoying his closeness and warmth. Cas got cold easily, which was one of the reasons he liked cuddling so much.
Sorin smiled against his lips as he glided his hands through his hair.
Cas deepened the kiss a bit, one hand on the back of Sorin's head still. He stayed like this for a bit before he had to pull away for air.
Sorin panted lightly, his stomach fluttering all the while he stared at him in awe.
"Is something wrong?" Cas asked breathlessly, panting as well.
"I-uh… No, nothing's wrong…" he tucked Cas's hair behind his ear. "Quite the opposite, actually."
"You were looking at me weird." Cas giggled, kissing Sorin's cheek.
