"That would be nice," Jav said. "But maybe you could make me look like a wolf instead." He grinned, smile looking unnervingly like said animal. "Unless it's too hard for you."
"I understand." Damen sent her a small, but warm, smile. "Well, are you staying anywhere right now, or would you like us to get you a place? It will take Jav about a day to get the necessaries ready. Do you have anything planned during that time?"
Rose sent a glare at Jav. "No, I think a pig suits you far, far better." she replied. "Or perhaps a little rat?" transferring her attention back to Damen, she nodded. "I have a place to stay, I'm fine. And no."
"I like rats," Jav said, sounding mildly offended. "They're very misunderstood creatures. Like me."
Damen flicked his brother on the ear. "Shut up, dude, seriously. You're only making it worse." He nodded to her. "If you say so. How do you want us to contact each other?"
"Well, then would you like to be one? Because I can make that happen. Permanently." she narrowed her eyes at Jav, and sighed, thinking for a moment before responding to Damen. "I am not sure about that."
"I don't think you ca-"
Damen sent Jav a glance, and suddenly, the guy shut up. He glared at Damen, eyes furious, but he could do nothing about it. Damen turned back to Rose, but now, his blue-gray eyes now had a golden gleam to them that hadn't been there before. "Maybe we could meet her tomorrow? Same place, same time?" He offered.
"Oh I can." she reassured Jav, then nodded to Damen. "Yes, that should work quite nicely." she replied, running a hand through her hair for a moment.
"Alright." Damen grinned at her. "Well, we'll see you tomorrow then. We should go, so that we don't seem suspicious."
Jav raised his hand, looking pissed. When Damen flicked his fingers slightly, the gold fading from his eyes, Jav spoke. "I have to get to my next shift in five minutes." He made a face. "So we'll have to be quick. Another meeting."
She nodded, redoing the spell to mask her hair and eye color. "Of course. I'll see you two tomorrow." then she drew up the hood and started to walk away.
"Later, Princess," Jav called, and then there was a sound of pain. "Why do you keep doing that?" Came his anguished voice.
"Because you won't control yourself, so I have to for you."
Rose's mouth twisted in a faint smirk at the two's interaction, but she continued to walk away from them, feet quiet on the cobblestones.

Jav was the only one by the fountain the next day. Damen had some business to attend to, so he was alone. He leaned against the fountain and cleaned his nails with a dagger he had in his sleeve, and waited for the princess.

Rose eventually arrived, in the same cloak as the day before. She looked at Jav, sighing quietly. "Well. Are you ready?" she asked him, lifting her chin a little. She had the same disguise spell on.
Jav sent her his signature smirk and put away the knife. "I am." He held out his arm for her to take, so it would look like he was just a kind gentleman helping a woman.
She narrowed her eyes for a moment before taking his arm. "Touch any part of me you shouldn't, and you lose the hand and I make you a eunuch. Got it?" she said, tilting her head at him.

"I'd like to see you try," he said, smiling serenely at her. "I would never do anything bad to a lady, especially one as pretty as you." He started to walk towards the palace gates, strolling as if he didn't have a care in the world.

She narrowed her eyes, but followed him. "I don't need to try." She replied, rolling her eyes and shaking her head at him.

"Well, if you never try, how do you know if you'll succeed or not?" He asked, acting for all the world like the person beside him wasn't about to punch him.

"Because I know I will. I haven't trained in magic for nothing." She replied, arching an eyebrow at him for a moment.

"Really? I thought you would have. That's what I'd do. Learn something just because I could." Jav snorted. "That sounds awful."
As they approached the gates, his voice grew less playful, more serious. "Be careful. I've gotten you a job as a maid. It's the best I could do on such short notice. Keep you head down and try not to attract attention." He glanced at her. "Best to make yourself look as plain as possible. There are guards who would do anything to a pretty maid, just because they could."

She nodded, and made her appearance as plain as she could, adding on a hooked nose and thick eyebrows just for added effect. "There." She said, looking over at him.
