He smiled again, looking at her.
"Yeah." she tucked back a lock of loose hair.
He smiled again, looking at her.
"Yeah." she tucked back a lock of loose hair.
She smiled back as she met his gaze.
“Alright. My turn.” Sophie smiled, watching the gesture. “Is that your natural hair color?”
He kissed the top of her head.
"What, this red?" she asked, touching the locks of hair. It was a hard question; technically no, but also yes. It wasn't dyed, in any case. "Yes. Mostly."
She closed her eyes and gave a soft hum.
“Mostly? That's an interesting answer.” Sophie pointed out with a raised brow.
He kept holding her.
"There's a bit of dye, but it is naturally red." she clarified. Well. "clarified". There was no dye.
She smiled contentedly.
“Ah.” Sophie nodded, accepting that answer. Besides, it's not like she had a power or anything. The only time people bragged about having an ability was when someone was in costume or if it made them rich and famous.
He hummed faintly.
She smiled softly at Sophie.
She hummed softly in reply.
Sophie smiled brightly back.
He laughed a little bit.
She thought for a moment. "My turn, yeah?"
“What?” she smiled, looking up at him.
Sophie nodded. “Yeah. Your turn.”
"Nothing." he replied softly.
"Right. Ah…when you die, what would you most want to be remembered for?"
Jade raised a brow and poked his side.
Sophie's eyes widened at that question. “Uh… Wow! Wasn't expecting that.” she admitted, taking a sip of her water. “Honestly… I don't really expect to be remembered at all. I mean, I hope Jade will remember me as a good friend, even if I drive her crazy because of how free-spirited I am compared to her. But all the dates I’ve been on and all the relationships I’ve had… I don't know how many of them will even remember my name.”
He raised his eyebrows at her. "What?"
She laughed a little bit. "Yeah, it's always an interesting question to ask." she replied, shrugging her shoulders for a moment. "And…yeah. That's…I get it."
“Why'd you laugh?” she smirked.
Sophie chuckled softly and rubbed the back of her neck. “Yeah. Sorry if that sounded depressing. I just… I don't know. Life's too short to live by other people's standards. Just go out there, be yourself and have the best time you can.”
"Ah, no reason."
"Nah, it's fine. Like I said, I get it." she replied.
She sighed and leaned against him. “I don't know why I'm having a hard time believing that…”
“Thanks.” Sophie smiled softly. “What about you? What do you want to be remembered for?”
He laughed a little. "I wonder." he replied, soft and teasing.
"I don't know. Beautiful houses. Or, perhaps, for…I don't know. Inspiring people."
“I’m sure there's a reason.” she snickered.
Sophie nodded thoughtfully. “Inspiring people is a good one.”
He laughed a little. "Maybe, maybe not."
She smiled. "Yeah. I hope so."
“No. I’m pretty sure there is.” she giggled.
Sophie smiled back. “I bet you could.”
He laughed again. "But what makes you so sure?"
She shrugged her shoulders. "Maybe."
“The way you're laughing right now, for a start.” she pointed out with another giggle.
Sophie smirked softly and put her arm around Raven’s shoulders. “I’m sure you can.”
(heading to bed soon, goodnight!)
He laughed again, nuzzling her cheek. "Darling, that's not proof!"
She smiled, kissing Sophie's cheek softly. "We'll see."
(Good morning! 😉)
She grinned, fighting back more giggles. “Proof? Maybe not… but it still makes me suspicious.”
Sophie smiled softly and kissed Raven’s cheek in reply. “I know I just repeated your last question but it was a really good one.”
(lol good morning!)
He was still laughing, holding onto her. "And?"
Raven nodded. "It was a good one."
