Arwen tried, and seemed to do it alright. She messed up a few times, but played it off as if she wanted to do that. "Okay?"
Arwen tried, and seemed to do it alright. She messed up a few times, but played it off as if she wanted to do that. "Okay?"
"You're getting it! Try adding a little snap on that one move though." She demonstrated, adding the 'snap'. "It makes it look cool."
She tried to mimic Diana's movements, turning out more successful than the first time. Arwen smiled. "I did it!"
"You did!" She exclaimed, pumping her fist in the air excitedly. She adored dancing, and teaching Arwen was insanely fun.
Arwen smiled. "This s so much fun!"
"Isn't it? Back when I took lessons and stuff, I was on this team, and we performed and did underground battles, and it's insane, the energy." Diana said, a wistful and slightly giddy smile making it's way onto her face.
"That is so cool!" Arwen replied somewhat dreamily.
"Maybe we could start our own crew." She joked, lifting up Bas like a ragdoll. "You think I could teach him to dance?"
"Well, he's smart, so yes," Arwen took his paws and started to dance with him. "Ah! He's a natural!"
Bas just stared at her, and if he was human, would likely have an eyebrow raised. Diana snorted, moving him around a bit with Arwen's dancing. "He is indeed."
"Sorry, Bas. I might have had to," Arwen apologised, seeing the look on the cat's face. She then looked at Diana. "Should I put him down?"
"If you want. He's fine though, doesn't honestly give a shit." Bas sighed, and she raised an eyebrow. "See?"
"Okay. He's giving me the look," She set him down gently. "There ya go."
Bas flicked his tail, strutting off to the corner to flop down. Diana grinned, winking at him. "He's so grumpy sometimes."
"Sorry," She called after him. "Is there anything you'd like to do for fun? Seeing as you're the guest, I don't want your stay to be miserable."
"I am good with absolutely anything." She said, smiling.
"That doesn't narrow anything down!" Arwen cried in frustration. "I'm sorry. Idea time."
Diana thought for a moment. "Tell me your favorite song, I've got an idea."
Arwen needed to take a minute to think. "Umm… I have a lot, but at the moment it's probably Help but Papa Roach."
"Be right back!" Diana said, racing out the door and through the house. She pulled her guitar case from the back seat and made her way back inside, grinning.
"No way," Arwen gasped, seeing the guitar. "Can you play it? Like, you know the song?"
"I do! I haven't known about it for long, but yeah! It just takes one listen for me to memorize lyrics, so…"
"That's like…amazing. I wish I could do that," Arwen sat on the floor, criss cross.
Diana plopped down, pulling her guitar from it's case and tuning it. "It is kinda cool, I guess."
"Only 'kinda'?" Arwen used air quotes. "I wish that was my superpower!"
