"Maybe so. I can't say I'm disappointed though." She chuckled, a tad nervously.
"Maybe so. I can't say I'm disappointed though." She chuckled, a tad nervously.
"With which part? The fact that we have fae or that I think you're cute?" Arwen asked, regaining confidence.
"Er-both? D'you really think I'm cute though?" Diana looked up at her, willing her blush to die down a bit.
"Don't doubt it. You're adorable," She stated, face turning the color of Dorothy's shoes.
"That's absolutely not true." She said, shaking her head stubbornly.
Arwen sighed. "It absolutely is. You're incredibly stubborn as well."
"There's a difference between being stubborn, and knowing when something is false."
"And right now, you're just being stubborn." Arwen crossed her arms.
"I have looked in mirrors, Arwen." She placed her hands on her hips, shaking her head once again.
"And I'm looking at you right now."
Her face managed to grow even redder. "I-uh…" She was out of arguments.
"Oh, gods, I'm sorry. Shutting up now," She went back to painting.
Diana resumed painting as well, a small smile on her face.
Arwen got her phone out and put the Aerosmith song back on, humming to the tune.
"You know, this could be our song." She said offhandedly as she finished up a large section of the wall, moving on to splot paint in other spots.
Arwen smiled. "It could," She almost-whispered.
Her smile brightened, and she went to brush a stray hair from her face, unknowingly smudging painto just abover her eyebrow.
"The first wall we did seems dry, right?" Arwen went over to boop the paint.
"Looks like it, yeah. The real way to tell is to just kinda-" She came over, pressing her face right up against the wall.
Arwen snorted. "My god! What if it isn't?" Then despite her better judgement, she smushed her face against the wall as well.
Laughter bubbled from her lips, shaking her shoulders. "I think it's dry. How 'bout over there?"
"Hm. Let me check," She walked in long strides and turned so half of her face was against the wall. Some of her hair was pressed on the wall, staining it purple. "Ah. Nope."
Diana removed her face from the wall, unable to speak through her laughter, so all she could do was point at Arwen's face.
"I know, I know," Arwen continued to laugh. She walked towards the bucket of paint, dipped her finger in and booped Daina's nose. "There," She stepped back. "Now we almost match."
Her eyes lit up mischievously. "Oh, do we?"
