Another step forward. "Of course I am, why wouldn't I be?"
Another step forward. "Of course I am, why wouldn't I be?"
"Erm…Nevermind. Why's your hand blue again?"
"Well the paint didn't all come off, just by pressing it onto the wall. And then…I put it back in the paint, so I could do this." She reached up suddenly, cupping Arwen's cheek with her paint covered hand. "You look good in blue."
"Shit. Was that a Fall Out Boy reference?" Arwen's face lit up.
"You bet it was." Diana said, snickering.
"Well, now I feel like you're being snarky. It's okay, though. I'll believe that it was," Arwen shrugged her doubt off.
"Drink down that gin and kerosene and come, spit on bridges with me, just to keep us warm." Diana sang, grinning. "Light a match and leave me be, light a match and leave me be!"
Arwen let out a delighted gasp. "I keep my jealousy close 'cause it's all mine," She sang, continuing the song. "And if you say this makes you happy then I'm not the only one lying"
"Keep quiet, nothing comes as easy as you, can I lay in your bed all day? I'll be your best kept secret and your biggest mistake, hand behind this pen relives a failure every day." Diana let go of Arwen, bobbing her head along to the beat of the song in her head.
(AAAAHHHH This is amazing.)
Arwen repeated the chorus then moved to the second verse. "I keep my jealousy close 'cause it's all mine And if you say this makes you happy then I'm not the only one lying."
((I've heard the song exactly once, if I'm being honest. It's been way too long since I've listened to Fall Out Boy. Metro lyrics also sucks ass and keeps crashing.
Diana grabbed Arwen's hand as she sang, and roped her into the dance routine she had learned for this song years ago. It was fairly simple, and she was barely able to hold any pose as she sang and laughed.
(Mm. I own a few of their albums and listen to them way too much)
Arwen went along with Diana's dance, laughing too much to hold a tune.
Half of the steps were improvised, so that Arwen could do them too, and even her laughter sound musical, like part of the song.
Arwen tried to keep up, but she kept tripping over her feet. This time she tripped and landed on top of Diana. "Oh! I'm sorry!"
"You're good!" Diana said, face flushed with laughter, her eyes twinkling as she looked up at Arwen.
(( Ah yes, the good ole' "falling on top of your love interest, now your faces are really close, please just kiss already" trope. ;)
(Nah, more like, "damn, I'm clumsy, sorry about that", trope. Sorry)
Arwen got up, accidentally stepping on her hair in the process. "Well, today I can't seem to do anything."
((You're no fun lmao
Diana snorted, waiting until Arwen moved her foot so that she could sit up. "Nah, don' worry about it. You might take a bit more practice than I thought though." She joked.
(I know :) )
"I should have told you that I have awful coordination," She admitted. "Yet somehow I can do flips like there's no tomorrow."
"So you learn how to cover it!" Diana said, hopping back up easily. "If you fall, you turn it into something. I'll admit, I had to do that quite often when I first started."
"Duly noted," She gave a quick salute before restarting the song. "Wanna try again?"
"Sure! Do you need a quick example?"
"Yes please," She retorted shyly.
"Okay, so here's one of the best things to do if you fall." She gestured to Bas, and he waited until she had done a few steps to trip her, and which point she demonstrated an easy looking move that involved a tumble of sorts.
"Oh, okay. That makes sense," She observed.
She sprang back up, grinning. "You try!"
