//is it ok if I time skip to once they finish eating? If not, lemme know and I’ll change it :D
Anya finished her portion of the fries just as the gate attendant person came on the intercom to announce initial boarding. “Just in time,” she said.
(Of course it is. Lol.)
Spencer hummed, opening his eyes to peer at her. He’d finished his food a while ago and had decided to rest his eyes for a moment. With a sigh, he stood, stretched, and then offered his hand to Anya with a small smile. “Let’s go, then.”
//thx! :D
Anya took Spencer’s hand and walked with him to the ticket desk, where she presented their tickets to the gate attendant person with a smile. The gate attendant person scanned the tickets, handed them back to Anya, and gestured for them to go down the jet bridge.
“Here we go!” Anya said excitedly.
Spencer chuckled a bit and kissed the side of her head. “Here we go, indeed… I’m sure we’re in for quite the adventure.”
“Knowing us, we definitely are,” Anya muttered under her breath, maintaining her light smile.
“Mmhm…” Spencer agreed in a hum, glancing down at her softly. He grinned and kissed her cheek gently. “Love you, dear.”
“Love you, too,” Anya smiled for reals now. “I think our seats are this way…”
Spencer’s smile softened as he looked down at her, seeing her smiling back. “Okay. Do you want the window seat or the aisle seat?”
“Aisle,” Anya said immediately. “You know how claustrophobic I get.”
//that was not supposed to be as harsh as it came out sounding….
(It didn’t sound harsh to me, but I could see how it might be.)
Spencer nodded. “Of course. I forgot for a moment. Sorry, dear.”
“No worries,” Anya said easily. “I just like the aisle ‘cause it gives me a bit more room, you know? But you can take it if you want it, I’d be okay.”
“No, you can have it. I’ll be fine here,” Spencer assured her with a smile, kissing her cheek as he sat down.
“Okey dokey,” Anya smiled, sitting down after Spencer in the seat next to him. “How long is this flight, again, dear?”
(Where are they going again? And from where?)
//no idea, and no idea
Let’s say they were in New York and they need to get to… uhm… California? Minnesota? Idk
(Hm. Okay.)
“It’s about four hours from here to Minnesota,” Spencer explained, leaning over to kiss her forehead for seemingly no reason.
“Ooh, that’s great! Just enough time to finish my book,” Anya said with a smile. Under her breath, she added, “Are we just gonna wing this whole plan?”
“Oh, that’s wonderful for you, dear!” Spencer said before leaning closer, looking like he was just murmuring some cute, couple-y thing in her ear. “I think so… Unless you had a plan?”
Anya blushed to make the couple-y thing seem more believable, then said, “It is, isn’t it? I haven’t ever even heard of this author before, but I’m really enjoying it!” Then, again under her breath, “AKA nope.”
“Hm. I didn’t think so,” Sterling breathed, kissing under her ear to “keep up he act.” In other words, he just really wanted to do that. But she didn’t have to know that. “Well, I’m certainly glad you’re enoying your book.”
“Me, too,” Anya said happily, smiling. “It’s always so disappointing when you start a book, but it’s not as interesting as you thought.”
“Oh, that’s always incredibly disappointing, yes,” Spencer agreed with a nod. “It’s like a waste of time that you can never get back.”
(Skip?)
(Let's say… When they arrive?
And did they ever actually find a place to live?)
//good plan
and let's say that they bought a house or something before they moved? just like an apartment or something….
(Probably an apartment. Lol.
Do you want to start or should I?)
//lol
You probably should… :)
(Lol. Okay.)
“Ah, finally! Solid ground!” Spencer laughed when they stepped off the plane. He turned and waited for Anya to come down and pressed a kiss to the side of her head. “You ready to go find our bags?”
“Lead the way,” Anya laughed, smiling. “Oh, I forgot! I finished my book. It was actually quite good.”
“Oh, that’s great! What was it about?” Spencer asked, wrapping his arm around her and leading her toward the baggage claim.
