“Thank you,” Anya smiled, taking the plate and using the pillow in her lap like a table.
“Thank you,” Anya smiled, taking the plate and using the pillow in her lap like a table.
"No problem, dearest," Spencer chuckled as he sat down, wondering if she was catching on.
Anya ate half of the slice and offered the rest to Spencer. “I’m surprised you didn’t get yourself another, too, darling,” she said.
(Oh, gosh, the names are so cringy…)
"Well, sweetest, I was only thinking about getting yours for you," Spencer said with a grin as he took the cake.

It sounds so fake to me lol
Like Nat and Bruce in AOU
Anya laughed. “These names are really, really bad,” she sighed. “I’m just going to call you Spencer… or Spence…”
"They totally are," Spencer agreed, laughing with her. "Can I just call you 'babe' or Anya? I like 'babe'…"
Anya smiled. “Both. Both is good.” She reached over and grabbed the remote from the coffee table, because there is a coffee table now. “I feel like there’s something we actually need to do, but do you want to watch a movie?”
"I'm sure there is, but I'd love to," Spencer said, putting an arm around her. "Any ideas?"
“Nope,” Anya said, pulling up the movie base thing with all the movies ever on it because I can. “I was thinking we’d browse until we found one.”
"Sounds good. Action? Adventure? Fantasy? Romance?" Spencer suggested, turning to Anya to wiggle his eyebrows at the last one.
Anya laughed. “It’s really up to you. I’m good with anything.”
"Ugh, I hate choosing… What if we watch The Hunger Games?" Spencer said, leaning back with a sigh.
“Sure,” Anya said, selecting The Hunger Games from the database. She leaned back and laid her head on Spencer’s chest as the movie began.
Spencer wrapped his arms around Anya and kissed the top of her head. The movie started, and he tightened his grip around her.
Anya let herself relax, though she shut her eyes once the killing began. He’s fine, she thought to herself, over and over. He’s fine. But she still couldn’t get the image of Spencer-from-the-Framework out of her head.
Spencer glanced down at Anya and frowned. "Hey… It's okay…"
“I know,” Anya murmured, opening her eyes and looking up at Spencer. “I know.”
Spencer put his hand on her cheek, rubbing gentle circles with his thumb. "I thought you died. And I know you thought that I did, too. But we're here, and we're safe."
Anya nodded. “Yeah. Yeah, we’re safe.” But she couldn’t shake the feeling that this illusion of safety would shatter, and that she and Spencer would be impaled by the shards.
//look at me, being all confusingly metaphoric :P
I’m becoming my English teacher…
(It's not confusing, it's actually cool and really well written!)
Spencer took her face in both of his hands and leaned their foreheads together with a sigh.
"We are never going to use that thing again. Never," he said softly.
//yay! Thanks!
Anya exhaled softly, pressing her forehead against his. “Deal.”
(>.<)
Spencer stayed like that for a moment, his forehead pressed against hers as he rubbed soft circles on her cheeks.
"Do you want to finish our movie? Or should we move on to something else?" he murmured after a bit.
“No, we should finish it,” Anya said softly. She cleared her throat. “We may, uh, ewant to rewind… I think we missed about twenty minutes.”
"All right. If you want to, we'll do that," Spencer said softly, pulling away to grab the remote and rewind the movie.
//wow I just noticed a spelling error in my last one :/
Anya pulled a pillow into her lap and, once Spencer had repositioned himself, lay her head on his chest, over his heart.
