(Sure.)

Spencer had left Anya to sleep on his couch for the night and went to sleep in his bed. The next morning, he woke up before the sun and decided to go work out a bit. He left Anya a note telling her where he was, grabbed a quick breakfast, and was out the door in a matter of minutes.

@CWTurtleOfFreedom

Anya woke up at sunrise, as per usual. She saw Spencer’s note, but instead of going to see if she could find him, she left his place (after leaving a note) and walked to hers, where she changed clothes and raided her own fridge.

Spencer stayed for about two hours, working out and all that jazz. Once he was finished, he headed back to his room to shower.

Upon his arrival, he saw Anya's note, nodding as he read it. When he finished, he hopped into his shower.

Since working out was overrated, Anya sat on the couch, ate some leftover asparagus that she’d found in her fridge, and thumbed through a book she’d been wanting to read for a while.

She was kinda surprised that she hadn’t been assigned a new mission; it had been several days since her last. However, the last mission hasn’t been very subtle, as she and Spencer had kidnapped the President, so she could understand the Director’s hesitation to send her out again so soon.

(I'm just gonna go ahead and…)

One Week Later

Spencer jumped as a knock sounded on his door. Closing his book carefully and setting it down on the coffee table in front of him, he stood to answer it.

"The director has requested to see you in his office in ten minutes," a higher-up in a dark suit and sunglasses told him before walking away.

@CWTurtleOfFreedom

//good idea lol

The Same Amount of Time Later

Anya opened her door when she heard the knock. The suit standing outside said, “Director Barnes has requested your presence in ten minutes.”

Anya nodded and watched the suit walk away before closing the door. New mission, I guess.

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(Lol.)

Spencer blinked at the retreating figure before closing his door and turning around.

"All right, then. I guess I'll get something to eat before I go," he said to himself as he walked to the kitchen.

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(Lol, Anya…)

Spencer set his dishes in the sink and checked his watch. Five minutes until he had to be there. On that note, he tossed his jacket on and slipped into his shoes, heading out the door as quickly as possible.

//XD

Anya jogged down the hall. She had seven minutes, because time, but she also knew that the Director’s office was reasonably far from her place. She arrived with three minutes to spare.

Spencer chuckled. "I totally agree. That was… an interesting mission, to say the least…"

(Idk what the mission should be… Maybe retrieving some file from somewhere?)

@CWTurtleOfFreedom

//sure
Or
OH IDEA
We dont have to use it but
They go to retrieve information, and then they read the info, and then they’re like WAIT WHAT
It’s a terrible idea

“No kidding,” Anya muttered. “I hope Lily’s doing alright.”

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(No, it's good!)

"Me, too," Spencer murmured back as the door opened and an older spy stepped out. She nodded to the couple as she passed, giving them a friendly smile.

"You may come in," the director called.

@CWTurtleOfFreedom

//cOUPLE
SQUEEEEEE
:P

Anya smiled at Spencer before letting go of his hand and walking into the office, and taking a seat when the Director instructed her to with a wave of his hand in the chairs’ general direction.

@Imperfect_Autumn group

(Lol. I love how excitable you are concerning them.)

Spencer sat beside her, folding his hands in his lap.

"I suppose you're wondering about the reason you're here," the director started with a small smile. "I have another mission for you two."

@CWTurtleOfFreedom

“The usual, then?” Anya asked, standing up. “Briefing files in our rooms, etc?”

She was surprised at her own bluntness. Usually, she had more tact, at the minumum.
