(Sounds good! Do you want to start or should I?)
//I’m so sorry I haven’t been on! I went to visit relatives.
Also, if you don’t mind starting, that’d be great!
(Wow! Hi! Welcome back! Lol. How are you? How was your Christmas/New Years Eve?
Yeah, give me a sec.)
“Excuse me, sir? May I have a word with you?” an airport security officer called to Spencer.
Spencer glanced over at him before giving Anya a slightly worried look. “Yes, of course. What can I do for you?” he asked as he walked over.
//it was great, thanks for asking! :D How was yours?
Anya hung back, playing the part of ‘concerned wife’ very well. She anxiously checked her watch, then looked up at the board above that displayed the departure times of upcoming flights. “Oh, I hope we don’t miss our flight! We’re cutting it so close already!”
(Good! I feel spoiled. Lol. I got five books and a B&N gift card.)
“I’m sure we’ll be fine, dear. This good man won’t hold us up long. Right, officer?” Spencer asked with a charming grin.
The man sighed. “I just need to see your passport and ID quickly.”
“Oh, of course! Not a problem,” Spencer said as he searched his pockets for them. He pulled them out and handed them over. “Here you are.”
“Thank you,” he muttered as he looked over them. “Hm. All right, you’re free to go.”
//nice!! What books?
“Oh, thank you!” Anya said to the man, who handed back the ID and passport. Taking Spencer’s hand, she told him, “C’mon, our gate’s this way.”
(Books 4-6 of the Warriors: A Vision of Shadows arc, and a book from the Fairytale Romance series by Melanie Dickerson. Which I already had. Lol.)
“Thank you, sir,” Spencer said, smiling politely as he took his things before chuckling at his “wife”. “Slow down, dear! You’re going to run into something.”
//lol. That’s awesome!
Except the duplicate XD
“The only thing I’m going to run into is our gate, and that’s only if you hurry,” Anya retorted, grinning.
(Lol. Yeah… And I’m not sure B&N will let me return it.)
Spencer chuckled before walking closer to her and sighing. “That was too close,” he muttered under his breath, still looking like he was smiling easily.
//oof. Do you have the gift receipt?
“Yeah,” Anya breathed, still grinning blankly. “We need to be careful.” Louder, so that it’d sound like she was carrying on their conversation, she said, “C’mon, hurry!”
(Nope. ;D)
“I’m coming, I’m coming!” Spencer laughed as he was dragged along. “Geez, it’s not the end of the world, dear.”
//oof.
“It is if we miss our flight! We can’t have our bags arrive before us, they might get lost!” Anya insisted, stopping abruptly in front of their gate. “Ahh, good we made it. With thirty minutes to spare, too!”
Spencer huffed. “You see? There was no need to hurry like that!”
“If we’d dawdled, it might’ve only been twenty-five,” Anya smiled, poking Spencer’s shoulder. “Okay, let’s find seats while we wait.”
//you know those waiting areas outside of the gates at airports? That’s what I mean lol
(Yeah, Lol.)
Spencer rolled his eyes playfully and quickly leaned over to press a kiss to her lips, pulling away before she had time to respond. “Seats sound good. Do you want to sit by the window?”
//XD
“Sure!” Anya agreed, heading in that direction. “Ooh, perfect, there are two right here.”
"Well, it's not like you couldn't have sat on my lap if there was only one," Spencer joked with a grin as they sat down.
//is it just me or is there a bizarre update all of a sudden
“That’s true,” Anya nodded, smiling. “Sadly for you, there are two.” She paused for a second before adding, “But I’m hungry, so I’m going to go over to that restaurant over there. Want anything?”
(It’s everyone. Lol.)
“Hm, food sounds good… I could come with you,” Spencer offered with a grin.
//okay good XD
“You could,” Anya said, already walking towards the restaurant. “But then we’d lose our hard-won seats!”
“And what if I let your seat get taken?” Spencer teased, grinning.
“Ooh, well, that would be tragic,” Anya teased back, smiling broadly.
Spencer chuckled and waved her off. “All right. You can go get food. Just order me something you think I’ll like.”
"Okey dokey," Anya said, walking over to the cue (not that cue the other one but idk how to spell it,) and getting in line.
(I have no idea. Lol.)
Spencer sighed as he watched her go. This was going to be an interesting trip… He didn’t like having to pretend he was someone else around her; he just wanted to be himself. Unfortunately, they couldn’t for a while.
//lol
Anya came back in fifteen minutes with two cheeseburgers and an order of fries, because just now her author made up the fact that the restaurant was a burger place. “Dinner— or whatever this is— is served!”
(Lol.)
“Mm… That looks good. Thank you, dear,” Spencer said, taking the food from her with a smile. “Unfortunately, your seat was not taken…”
“Darn,” Anya laughed, unwrapping her cheeseburger. “What a shame, really.”
“Oh, definitely. It would have been nice to have a lap warmer,” Spencer chuckled, leaning over to kiss her cheek before unwrapping his burger.
