@Festive_Fenrir

Val trailed feather light kisses along his jaw until she came back to his lips, teasing him as she brush one kiss along them before tilting her head back to look at him.
“Yeah, you’re right. I don't think either of us are willing to stretch Chire’s allowed freedom by staying here all night.”
She loved her brother immensely, no doubt. And she probably would do the same if roles were switched, so she understood his worry. But damn, did his literal puppy guarding get annoying sometimes!
“I’m not sure I can, we have our first concert coming up at the end of the month. We’re going to have after school rehearsals pretty frequently until then starting tomorrow.” She smiled softly when he mentioned tidying up the place and glanced around, the layer off dust in the layer of dust settling around them. She nodded in agreement. “You can always start early,” she suggested. “Then fill me in on what you did if I’m not able to come over.”
She snuggled deeper into his embrace, never wanting to leave his secure hold ever again. She laughed softly and pressed a kiss to his nose. “We should start heading back. You need rest.” She gently pulled away from him and shifted. Nudging her fluffy head against his side, she lets out a small bark, encouraging him to stand up. She would have gladly stayed with Min in the house for forever, hoping that one day, that would be reality. But for now, she’s stay with him whenever she could.

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

He let out a breath, loving her soft lips along his cold skin, a shiver running along his spine.
"Mm, youre right. Wouldnt want to get him mad now woukd we" he says with a little chuckle.
Raising an eyebrow at the mention of the concert. "You gotta tell me when that is so i can go to it. Maybe i coud come to one of the rehearsals?" He says in a hushed tone.

"Ill be sure to fill you in. Ill have to mark where this is. Though its decently close to Cass's place." He mumbled the last part, knowing she was skeptical of the Vampire. He wondered if he knew anything about this place. Hes been here the past 70 years, maybe he even knew her grandma. Though it was highly unlikely. He wouldnt ask him about it yet. Definitely not wanted to invade Val's personal life especially with someone she didnt like.
Min-Hyuk had too much respect for Val to do that.

As much as he loved holding her and feeling her warmth and talking to her he let her out of his hold and stood, stretching.
"Val, i dont rest. You know this" he says with a smile. "But itd be nice to actually get inside" Min mumbled, readjusting his shirt.
"I can walk.you home if youd like. Though its probably not that far from here.."

@Festive_Fenrir

Val rolled her eyes and sighed through her nose, pressing her snoot into his hand and shutting her eyes momentarily before stepping back and shifting. She checked her hand to make sure the burns hadn’t gone down before she nodded and grabbed her bag and put all the photos and the silver box back.
“It’s not far but yeah, let’s go back together.” She smiled over her shoulder at him, somewhat surprised that he had any interest in singing.
“The concert is the 31st, at 7:00 where we had the dance. We’re trying to go with a dark ethereal theme so maybe wear dark colors. Though you seem to have that down already.” She teased lightly, gently taking his hand and lacing their hands together, leading him to the ladder that lead out of the attic.
“The rehearsals start tomorrow right after school in the choir room, right next to English. We have them every Tuesday and Thursday, possibly by the end of the month nearing the concert we’ll have them everyday.” She let go to climb down the ladder, scanning the downstairs main living area to make sure no one had stuck around.
“I don’t know if Mrs Berry(completely forgot the teachers name) will allow visitors but I don’t see why not as long as you don’t distract the class.” She looked him over with a small smirk. “Though maybe you might distract a few students there.”

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

He meant he could just come to her rehearsals, maybe to be a supportive boyfriend, but he would accept it if he got dragged into this thing. Only for Val. He was a decent singer, but he never actually sang. Only to the music hes listening to in the shower. Or if he was secretly watching a korean drama and the opening came on. He wont tell a soul. Not even his sister knew. Maybe her cat though

"I…dont know how id be much of a distraction. If anything theyd be scared of me. I lit a girls hair on fire last semester and they probably remember" he says giving her hand a squeeze before they left the attic.
Landing on the floorboards lightly, a small amount of dust fron the stairs now above them got in his face. Causing him to sneeze. Sniffling a little bit, he grummpily shook the dust from his hair with his free hand.

@Festive_Fenrir

She gently took his hand again and laughed.
“Okay, you’re right. They might be a little intimidated due to your past actions but hey, we all vomit a little arsen now and again. I’m sure they forgot about it by now.” She reassured with a smile.
“Let’s get going before you pick a fight with the dust bunnies.” She teased, reaching up and picking out the small pieces of dust that had settled in Min’s hair, finding it cute that even a creature of the night such a small Min had the slight inconvenience of being allergic to dust. She’s took one last glance around the house, knowing that bubble the time she did get a chance to go back, it down be just a bit different. She rested her head against Min’s shoulder and started towards the door

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

Min-Hyuk chuckled at her arson comment, loving the fact that she wasnt even phased by how close he got to mudering someone just because someone was annoying him.
Smiling down at her softly, he opened his mouth to say something but before he could, she reached up to his hair, assumingly picking out the dust thatnhad settled in his thick tangle of what he called hair.
"Hey, theyre picking a fight with me" he huffed, leaning down so she could reach easier. Though there wasnt too big of a height difference.
As Val touched his hair, he blushed a little, not used to anyone touching his hair.
Nomatter how much she did any of her cute laughs, gestures, or something as simple as touching his hair…he didnt think he could ever get used to it. It was so different than who he normally was. Min-Hyuk didnt think there was even this soft of a side to him. But then she came…

He shook himself out of his thoughts when she pulled away and started towards the door. Dodging dusty furniture and boxes on their way, he gave her hand a soft squeeze before stepping out.
Sniffling once before actually able to breath in the cool midnight air that surrounded them.
The soft breeze rustling up the leaves in the trees around the couple and the rapid clicking of the cicadas somewhat soothed him.
"Lets just hope we dont run into anything annoying on our way" he mumbled as he looked around the forest, having a terrible sense of direction in the moment. That was more of a wolf trait than a vampires. He couldnt tell if they were facing north or south even if he had a silver bullet to his head.

@Festive_Fenrir

“Lets hope not, most of the wolves should be back in their own packs now.” She replied. “Another full moon, another chance for me to claw a few males.” She said with a smirk, pressing a kiss torn he back of his hand before shifting back into a wolf.
She stayed beside him as she started to walk, carefully picking her way through the forest, lifting her head up every now and then to smell the air around them. She let out a small bark and nudged her head into Min’s hand, ears flattening against her head.
Eventually they came to the field, a portion Of the territory that was covered in long grass, mostly used for larger pack gathering. She padded to the middle of the field and settled down, her dark fur a stark contrast against the moon lit grass. She tilted her head up and howled, barking happily when she heard a chorus of other wolves far off in the dinstance.

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

"If anyone bothers you, let me know and ill rip their throats out for you" he says nodding his head.

For the rest od the way, Min-Hyuk contently walked beside Val as they made their way to…well wherever she was leading them. So to where he had assumed was her packs territory. He didnt know their boundary lines or anything, which was mostly because he never cared or had any respect for wolves. Or anyone for that matter.
If he had trespassed he would have his ego way up in the clouds, confident he could push them back. Sometimes winning and sometimes failing. Loners around the area have it out for him especially.

When they reached the edge of the feild from in the trees, he let out a sigh of slight confusion before she lead him to the middle.
Looking up towards the sky, his eyes reflecting the perfect circle of the moon in the night sky.
His spine tingling when he heard the other wolves howls, automatically feeling a bit threatened still. Old habits die hard.

@Festive_Fenrir

She bound around a bit, completely wild and I tamed before she went back to Mins side, trotting around him a bit. She let out a small awoo, letting him know everything was alright before pressing up against his side once again.
The outer feild usually marked the middle ground between packs and regions. The norther pack being surrounded by feilds before it was cut off by cliffs and the wider part if the river that ran straight through the territory.
Val lead them deeper into the more forested part of the territory where most of the dens were as well as their home. She shifted at one point and laced her hand with his, welcoming the shiver of delightful cold that cane whenever they touched.
“Want some food or water?” She asked as they started to near her home, glancing up at him with a small smile, happy that the rest of the night had gone well, despite the awkward party and the hunters found at the house. She had truly enjoyed herself that night.

@Festive_Fenrir

(of course! Don’t worry about it!)
Val gently tugged Min into the house, peeking inside and sniffing a bit before smiling and leading him inside.
“I presume you two had a good time.” Chire said from the shadows of the kitchen. He stepped forwards and leaned against the doorframe.
Val smiled softly and nodded, breaking away from Min to hug her big brother. Chire relaxed significantly and hugged her back, glad that she was safe.
“I’m gonna shower and change.” Val said as she broke away from him. “You two talk and do guy stuff or whatever. I’ll be back soon.” She said, heading towards the stairs. “And hey,” she turned and glanced between the two men. “No fighting. I hear one growl or a whiff of hostility and I will drag both your asses out of this house myself. Got it?” She growled, a smirk on her features before she disappeared up the stairs.
Chire chuckled and shook his head “she’s nit kidding either.” He gestured to the couch in the living room and nodded to Min, still not fully trustworthy of him but he wasn’t outwardly against him being here. If he made Val happy then he’d try to warm up to the Vampire. “Is there anything I can get you? Food? A drink?” He asked, looking over Min for the first time that night.

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

He let a contempt smile settle on his lips as Val dragged him into the house. The overwhelming smell of wolf hit him in the chest and burned his lungs a bit, but he’d get used to it.
Since they were naturally enemies, it was only normal for his nose to burn at their smell. Being in their territory. It wasnt how things should be, but thats how it was.
Min-Hyuk wouldnt have it any other way. Though he knew anybody from any of the other clans wouldnt have it. It was forbidden, for obvious reasons. If more creatures started mating with others not of their kind it could end the pure blooded lines.
It was someone poetic, enemies to lovers. Min hated cliches…but she was the exception.
He knew they were going to go through some tough times with multiple creatures, packs, leaders, any higher ups there were that had the authority to split them apart.
Min didnt quite know what he’d do when that came to pass….but till then, he would stay with her and he’d fight for her when the time came.

He snapped out of his thought and sat where Chire had offered. Looking around the place, taking in his surrounding and making sure he had a place to exit if danger arrived. He looked back to Chire “uhm, unless you’ve got human blood, I’m good” he joked, messing with the blue ring on his finger and the black one on his thumb. “But thanks though” he nodded.

@Festive_Fenrir

(I see whatcha did there XD)
Chire glared at him and shook his head, clearly missing the joke. “No, we don’t.” He said simply, walking over to a chair Andy propping down in it. He had never had a vampire in his home before. It sort of Unnerved him a bit he was trying to be more accepting towards min. Or at least that’s what he told himself each time The though if his mother’s incident came to mind.
He leaned forwards and rested his elbows on his knees, his golden/green eyes locked with Min’s “look, I know we havnt had the best of luck getting along. But I know you love my little sister. And I know she loves you. For both your sakes I’ll try and keep a level head about this, that is if you’re willing to do The same. I know you have your life to deal with, whether good or bad. There’s a reason you smell of cigarette smoke and hyped up anxiety sometimes. I’m not judging, just being watchful. I know your kind may not be all that accepting of a family dynamic and I know your trying to work out some things with your human family as well.” He took a deep breath and leaned back in his chair. “You can talk to Min. I may not be your best friend or whatever but Ian an Alpha. My job is to listen to others.if not me then at least to Valerie. She’s your girlfriend. She’d be the first person to want to know about your troubles and successes.” He glanced up when he heard the bathroom door open and smiled softly. “I’ll be in the kitchen if you need anything.” He said, leaving as Val came down the steps in an oversized T-shirt and leggings

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

Mins small mischievous smile went away when he realized Chire didnt quite get his joke. He knew they obviously didnt have any human blood in their house. Though Min-Hyuk never was good with sarcasm.
But that was probably because since he always was so serious. No one ever took him to be the joking type. And well he usually wasnt. So nobody ever got his sarcasm.
Min was on high guard here already, but when he leaned forward, his arms tensed up and he took a sharp breath in, leaning back a bit.
He relaxed a small bit when he was talking about Val and him loving each other and how he was alright with it. Well…kind of.
But that all went away and his cold eyes narrowed, his defense growing a bit. He did admit, he smelled of smoke and he was almost always anxious and had about 20 different issues going on up in that sad head of his. But being called out like that didnt sit right with Min. He kept quiet but held a defensive glare to Chire as he spoke. Yes, he was Vals mate, and technically that would make him sort of a part of the pack. But he only wanted to run away with Val.
But Min knew he couldn’t do that to her. She loved this pack too much and she loved her brother. Plus Chire would have it out for Min if they did run away. He wouldnt take her from her family.

Stiffening up along with his posture, he didnt feel there was a physical threat. But he felt extremely belittled by his words whether he meant to do so or not. Chire was obviously better than Min in a lot of ways. Some would even say all ways.
An alpha, a smart leader, strong, independent and confident. He knew what was best for his family and probably himself. At least thats what he seemed like to Min-Hyuk.
He made it known he was better than him, again, whether he meant to or not. And Min didnt like that one bit. Feeling more threatened than anything.

Without a single word, his face said it all. He wouldnt talk to Chire unless something happened to Val.
Of course he would possibly talk to Val, but he was still very closed off emotion-wise. He was never good with words in the first place. But right now wasnt the time to think about that.
Looking over to Val in her big ol t shirt, he stood. Man she was adorable
Giving Chire a small smile and a little wave as he entered the kitchen “alright, nice talkin with ya” he nodded before turning back to Val. Totally faking his happiness about talking to him. But it was whatever

@Festive_Fenrir

Val slowed when she came down to the last few steps, sensing the tension in the air. She glanced between Min and the kitchen, brows turned up in slight worry. She reached up and gently touched Min’s cheek. She knew something was wrong, though almost expected it when it came to her protective brother and her vampire mate. She knew it was going to be hard, especially with her family’s history with vampires. She wasn’t going to push neither of the people she loved the most to push aside their respected situations to make way for her own relationship. All she ask is that they try. She’s knew a few wolves were slowly warming up to Min, Zizi, though she suspected that had to do with her deceased mate more that it had to to with Min, and Chire, who, despite having lost their mother to a vampire, hadn’t ripped Min’s throat out the second he saw him.
With a deep breath, she took Min’s hand. “Whatever is going on, now, before, in the future, it’s going to be okay. She said softly before gently pulled him back up the stairs, wanting to separate to two males for now. She’s led him to her room, nothing too frilly or girly, mostly tidy, save for dozens of stuff animals that littered her bed. Her dress from the night as well as the mask hung in closet, along with the rest of her clothes. She led him past a large bookshelf in the corner to window.
Letting go of his hand momentarily, she grabbed a blanket from her bed, wrapping it around herself like a cape and opening the window, climbing through to the roof section outside, decorated with little fairy lights and extra Christmas lights

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

Min-Hyuk took in a deep breath, mumbling something in korean under his breath. Though not rude, just uncomfortable is all.
Looking up to Val, he let out a sigh of relief, wanting to leave so badly. It was obvious he didnt feel safe in this house, and the smell was so overwhelming is was making his head pound. Not to mention he could hear every heart beat from a half mile away. But he’s gotten used to that by now

He leaned into her warmth when her hand touched his cheek, he put his hand on hers.
Min didnt say anything when she led him up the stairs, only following her and every now and again fidgeting with one thing or another. Be it his hair or his lip ring.
When they reached her room, he looked around, impressed. Though not surprised in the least. To him, she was a well put together person, so this is was expected.
He wasnt used to seeing a room without spray painted blacked out windows or ones that didnt smell like smoke. It was actually nice for once.

Tempted to lay down and take a short nap like how he used to before…well his life was ruined.
Though he resisted the urge as he watched Val take the blanket and head outside.
When she opened the window, the smallest breeze sent a chill up his spine. Yet another thing he was used to.

Min climbed through the window and sat on the roof with her. “Care to share?” He asked, motioning to the blanket.

(Hey I’m so sorry, my life got hectic and i honestly forgot that writing as a whole was a thing. I’m so so sorry! I would love to pick this back up with you though if you would like to! I went ahead and posted just in case you did want to keep this going! Again, I’m so sorry!)

@Festive_Fenrir

(yes! Absolutely yes!!! I'm so glad you're back!! Please don't apologies, it's absolutely ok! I hope you and your family are doing well despite the shitty year we've had!)
She glanced down at the blanket, a small smile flirting across her features. "A blanket I've had since very young." She explained softly "mom made it." She found a corner of the blanket and showed Min the embroidered flowers that took up most of the edge of the blanket. "It's not the warmest thing in the world but it reminds me of her." She rested her head against his shoulder and gazed out at the hazy forest before them.
"Thank you for tonight, it was amazing." She whispered softly, nudging into his neck. "You still haven't told me what happened with you and Ryuu at the dance." She murmured softly. "You're sure you're ok?"

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

(Ugh honestly! I hope you’re doing okay as well! This year (and almost a half) has been pretty bad for all of us :’)

His fingers ran along the embroidered flowers, admiring how nicely they were done. “Theyre beautiful.” He whispered to her, slipping underneath the blanket.
Min-Hyuk didn't care about the warmth of the blanket as much as the security blankets gave him.
The feeling that nothing else outside of it would be able to touch his cold skin. It was comforting.

He took in a deep breath, his chest rising…then falling about two seconds later. Every breath he took felt like cold air going in and out of his lungs, the puff of fog in front of his face reminded him of his cigarettes smoke.
oh right, she was going to talk to me about that too wasn’t she….best to avoid it

“Oh Ryuu? He…he’s difficult. Careful. And mad.” He paused, forcing himself to think about it.
“At me, not you. I’d break his leg if he were” he says jokingly, though it wasn't fully a joke. More a…lighthearted threat.
“I deserve it. His anger i mean.. its not something he overeating about. I did things I’m not too proud of with the…”loner” as you call him” he shrugged, looking away but staying underneath the blanket, pressed up against her.

@Festive_Fenrir

(oh no! I really hope it gets better from here on out! <3)
Val glanced up at Min and wrapped the blanket around his shoulders, watching as his eyes reflected back the warm glow of the Christmas lights strung around the rooftop.
"I'm sure if he's mad at me he'll have his reasons." She reassured when he made the joke about breaking his leg. She arched an eyebrow at the mention of the loner wolf Min had killed and about how he had told her he had done it to save his sister. "Surly he'd understand if he knew it was meant to protect Seo." She said, brows turning up in slight concern. "That's why he's not too fond of me being near her." She realized, cringing slightly. She wasn't used to being avoided or thought of as a threat, at least not among her own pack members. She didn't realize just how feared immortals were outside of her family. "I would never hurt her, you, or Ryuu. I don't want to hurt anyone actually. Let him know that next time you see him please." She said softly, closing g her eyes for a moment and resting again Min, letting his cooler body temperature soothe her.

@Celeste_X0X0_ group

(Thank you! <3)

Min looked ahead most of the time she spoke, watching for anything in the trees or the brush. Though the most he saw was a rabbit scampering off into the woods.
It was most definitely his paranoia getting the best of him, but he was better off safe than sorry. And being an “immortal being” didnt help his paranoia at all. In fact, it didnt help any of his illnesses. Though he didnt need glasses anymore, so he was grateful for that.

He turned back to her at her last comment, looking into her eyes. He knew she was telling the truth. And he thought Ryuu trusted him enough to know that if he did tell him that…maybe he would feel safe.
But he knew where he was coming from, so all he could do now..was keep on trying.
Min-Hyuk held a hand to her cheek, his thumb running over her smooth skin before he brought his lips to her forehead “i will. Ill make him believe it too” he says softly, pulling away from her forehead, though his face still oh so close to hers.
