Val let out a small awoo as Min ran his hands through her fur, welcoming the gentle touch. Her ears flicked up when Min spoke, cocking her head head slightly to the side before pressed her nose to Min's throat. She huffed a small breath and shifted back to normal. "Pretty good actually, better than normal." She replied softly, scooting up in a sitting position and stretching her back and arms. "How about you?" She asked softly, brows turning up slightly in concern
Min kept his eyes closed the entire time, still resting. Though he didn't expect her to actually shift back.
When she sat up his arm fell so his own side, pulling the blanket over his shoulder a bit more.
"I slept just fine" he lies, not wanting to ruin a sweet moment.
He took her hand and brought it to his lips, lacing his finger between hers.
(When he's tired he's like so cuddly lol)
Val narrowed her eyes at min, watching him carefully over hershoulder for a few moments before reluctantly settling back down beside him.
A light blush rose to her cheeks as he took her hand and pressed it to his lips, leaving a soothing cool spot on her skin. "I could get used to this." She murmured, her free hand toying with pieces of Min's hair. "So fluffy." She teased lightly, patting down min's hair and watching it immediately poof up when he lifted her hand
Min smiles softly, giving her handa small squeeze before lazily opening his eyes to look at her, the early morning light hitting his eyes in a rather painful way but he chose to ignore it, able to see Val through his blurred vision. A sort of ringed light surrounding her.
It may have just been the sun in his eyes, reflecting the golden light off of them. But to him, Val looked like an angel in that moment.
Which was saying a lot coming from an atheist. Whether he believed in angels or not, this one made him speechless.
He blinks for a few times, his mind taking a second to register her words.
"It's because it was basically airdried" he says, his other hand going up to his hair and feeling it as well. It was a poofy mess and a little tangled as if it were blow dried.
"And you'd better get used to it because it doesn't look like I'm going anywhere" he says, putting his hand on her waist.
"it's cute." She grinned and gently massaged his scalp as she ran her hands through his hair. She let out a laugh, breath mingling as she leaned in close. "I wouldn't want you to be anywhere else, dear." She murmured, brushing a light kiss to his lips. "So you're just gonna stay in bed all day? Not that I'm complaining at all," but food is pretty tempting right now." She laughed again and rested he Rhea's against Min's shoulder. "We can go to Cas's house if you're hungry or something." She offered, tilting her head to look up at him.
Min leans into her lips, kissing her with a small smile. Though not expecting her to pull away.
"Hm…" He thought to himself "staying in bed with you all day. Closest thing I'm gonna get to heaven if you ask me" he says.
Min-Hyuk looks down at her "it's okay. I know you don't like him very much anyway " he kisses her forehead "you can go eat though if you'd like" he says as he sits up just a little, his elbow propping him up on the bed.
Val bit her lip "it's not that I don't like him. Its just a bit akward knowing that vampire has been living that close to the territory all this time without us knowing." She shrugged, trying her best not to be too concerned. "But he seems to care a lot about you and he hasn't done anything wrong while staying close to the territory. As long as those two things remain constant, then I have no qualms with him." She said, finally looking up at Min.she silently hated herself for still having doubts about Cassius, despite not doing anything wrong but there was still something off about him that Val didn't like. But she kept that to herself, not wanting for Min to feel uneasy about one of the only individuals who he could trust just for her sake
Min nods "yeah I understand that part. If I hadn't known him before I got turned, I would have hated him too. He's nice though. I know I don't know a ton about him but he's the closest thing I've had to a friend for years. Even before i…well.became this" he says, a little disgusted with himself. He obviously didn't like the fact that he was a vampire. But he didn't show it as much as he felt it.
"Here you can go eat though. I dont have to for a at least a few more days" he lies. The last dose he got from Cass hadn't been a ton. It wouldnt last him the next few days but he knew Val didn't prefer him around. So he'd go when she was busy with something else.
He knew Cass was a bit dangerous to himself and others. That's why the only people he works with are already dead people. Be it literal corpses at the morgue or vampires like himself.
Though at the same time, the last thing Cass had texted him was "what's a wifi password? Why do I need it to call you?"
So Min couldn't help but to see him as harmless in some sort of weird way.
She watched him for a few moments before propping herself up on her elbow and a pillow to be somewhat closer in height to him. She lightly brushed a hand along his cheek. "This is the one I fell in love with. This is the one, who not months ago threatened my life while at the same time made me fall in love with someone I thought I hated for most of my life. I wouldn't change that for anything. But I get that it's not that easy, at least not for you or your family, and I get that it's hard to see yourself as someone other than a monster sometimes. But you know I wouldn't care if you were a Vampire, or a human or a wolf. Just as long as you don't change what really matters." She pulled him.in close by the collar if his shirt and pressed a rough kiss to his lips, drawing it out much longer than the rest of their shirt kisses.
Mins chest felt tight as she expressed her feelings, his dark brows furrowed.
does she mean this?…. I hope so
He leans into the touch to her cheek, looking into her amber eyes as she spoke, her soft would have made his face heat up if it could.
The way she was able to know exactly what to say astounded him, though not surprising him in the least bit. She had always been so much better with words than he was. At least in his eyes.
Though the thing that did take him by surprise was the rough kiss. But he wasn't complaining.
He presses his cold lips to hers, closing his eyes as his hand pulled her waist in, kissing her back with the same "enthusiasm" as she.
After a few moments, Val gently pulled away, but staying close enough to occasionally brush a light kiss to Min's lips. She lightly brushed a hand along his cheek. "I don't need to eat." She said with a laugh, shrugging her shoulders and curling up closer to Min. "Eating requires me to leave my bed and I am far too comfortable to move." She tucked her self under Min's chin and closer her eyes for a moment. "I'll keep reminding you by the way." He mumbled softly, looking up at her darling vampire. "That you are loved. By both me and your family. Even if you don't believe that."
Min wraps his arms around her and rests his chin on her head, though looking down at her when she looked up.
Min-Hyuk averted his eyes, embarrassed and not used to compliments or any sort of affirmations. He wasn't sure if he liked them or not. And normally he wouldn't like that at all, making him feel uncomfortable.
But since it was from Val….he didn't know how to feel about it.
He thought about her words for a bit, believing she loved him.
He didn't see why and he didn't think he ever would…but his family on the other hand. He didn't believe it.
His mom doesn't even know him and his sister is scared of him. She would avoid being around him at all costs.
Ryuu resented him for bringing on the wolf to Seo-Hyeon. And Min resented himself as well for that. He hadn't been a vampire for very long, but he'd already learned from his mistakes.
Though obviously not enough according to Ryuu. As he, once again was dating another werewolf. The only difference is this one was a chick.
And a lot less toxic and better for him. He could make a list of how different they were from each other if he put his mind to it. Though he was never too good at that.
He lets out a small scoff "All alright" he says kissing her forehead
"Though you do need to eat. But I won't insist. Since I liken it here too" he says, giving her a soft squeeze and closing his eyes.
He took advantage of being able to hold her in the comfort of a bed, now not wanting to let go.
Val yanked the covers over their heads, wanting nothing more than to stay in bed and enjoy the rest of the day with min. She started to softly hum one of the songs from her chorus class. She tested a hand on his side, mirroring his own gestured and thought for a moment to before speaking again. "What do you like more of yourself?" She asked softly, gently nuzzling his neck. She didn't think she knew anything that min liked about being a vampire, not that she could really blame him considering how he came to turn into a vampire and how his family seemed to act differently around him now, but she hoped something in Min's life was more on the positive side since his turning.
Min opens his eyes when the covers were pulled over him. He looks around at the sun attempting to get through the sheet, a soft red tint surrounding their bodies and faces.
He looks down at her, his gaze soft as she thought about what to say.
He lets out a small chuckle
what kind of question is that?
"Uhm…" He clears his throat "the amount of people I can make hate me or piss off in a single minute. Like that's a super power right there" he jokes, avoiding the actual question. He didn't like anything about himself but he didn't feel like lying to her in the moment.
He presses his nose to hers "what about you?" He asks softly
Val pressed her lips into a thin line and tried her best to look annoyed but how could she. "You know that's not what I mean." She huffed with a laugh and lightly cupped his cheek with her hand. "Alright, I'll play along." She thought for a moment, her lips bunching to the side as she mulled over her odd question. "I like being free. Even for a little bit. I get to be wild and viscous and uncaring. It might sound weird but it's relieving." She shrugged and flicked her gaze up towards his. "Now it's your turn." She whispered
(Guess who's long post got deleted again:,)
He focuses on her eyes as she thought about it, not expecting her to do close to the same thing he did.
Though he wasn't about to ruin the moment and set a bad mood for the rest of her day.
What was he going to say? "I hate everything about myself physically and mentally. There's literally nothing good about me"
Yeah, like that'd run over smoothly.
He only sighs, running his fingers through her hair "right…mine was closer to the question than yours" he teases
(;_:)
Val leaned into the touch and breathed a sigh of her own. "Fine, I'll give you that one." she pressed a kiss to his lips before gently pulling away and getting out of bed. "But at least I didn't avoid the question." She gave him a pointed look over her shoulder. He ran her hands through her hair, grabbing a hairtie from a nearby table and piled her hair in a messy bun. "You sure you don't want to eat?" She asked, finding a clean shirt and jeans in the closet
Min takes the blanket off of him and readjusted his oversized shirt once again.
He looks to her, rolling his eyes "here" he says "I'll eat later. I dont want to just suddenly have to leave to go drink blood" he says with a small chuckle, trying not to sound too serious.
He stands, running his hands through his hair and ruffling it a bit so it wasn't so fluffy.
Though failing miserably, his curls mostly gone and his hair looking like someone took a blow dryer to it.
She nodded slightly"alright, if you're sure." She disappeared into the bathroom across the hall to change quickly and brush out her hair, not really wanting to bother with it too much since the hunt would surely mess it up again. She came back into her room and adjusted the bed, throwing her stuffed animals and pillows haphazardly back into. She wandered over to Min and wrapped her arms around his waist, resting her head against his back. "You don't have to stay if you don't want to." She said softly "I won't be gone long but you don't feel comfortable waiting around here we can always meet back in town, if you want of course." She mumbled, reaching up on her toes and trying to flatten down his floof of hair
Min sets his hands on hers as she wraps her arms around his waist.
He thought about it for a second, his brows still furrowed.
The thought of him hunting with them crosses his mind but he didn't dare say it out loud.
A vampire hunting with wolves? Right.
He chuckles softly at his thoughts. He did want to see how it was. The experience had always seemed nice to Min-Hyuk. Hunting together as a pack. As a family.
Union was something he never had and he cursed himself for wishing for it.
He turns around to face her and ruffles her hair a little. "Does anyone stay here while you hunt? Maybe I could help put somewhere around here?" He asks, not thinking much about what he said.
If he were going to be in a relationship with Val, he was going to have to get used to being around her family. Why not start now?
She gently swatted his hand away with a laugh, hair now more or less how it was when she first woke up. She brightened up a little as he mentioned wanting to stay and squeezed his hand gently in appreciation. "Chire should have left by now to meet a few of the pack members. Zizi usually comes over if you want to help her with whatever she needs." She said with a tilt of her head, wondering how her grandmother would fair with Min. She probably should have been more worried how he would fair with her, knowing they had about an even temperament towards each other. "Think you can handle being around her for an hour?" She asked with a soft laugh.
Min chuckles "uh…ill deal just fine." He says, getting a bit nervous on the inside. Though you might still be able to tell on the outside as well.
Neverminding that, he shakes his head "be safe okay?" He says, leaning forward and kissing the top of her head.
The thought of his friend Cassius popped into his mind. They don't hunt near him, do they?
He wouldn't know though. And he was sure Cass wouldn't mind.
But still, the thought made him feel uneasy.
Val watched him skeptically for a moment, a smirk across her features. "Mhm, alright. Sure." She drawled, leaning into the light kiss. "I will, though to be fair, my breakfast should be more concerned about their safety." Her eyes glittered hungrily and reached up to press a kiss to min's cheek. "The same goes for you, Zizi can can be snappy in the morning. Literally." She shuddered with a laugh and sympathetically patted his shoulder as she strode to the door. "I'll be back in an hour." She promised, giving a little wave as she jumped down the stairs to the lower floor and getting a running start out the door, already shifting by the time she got to the treeline around the home
