Stop following me, assholes. He thought, spurring his movement.

"He did this before, thought I was gonna kill him. Don't know why, he just did. Got my knees bloodied in the process." Melanie gestures to her knees, which were still bleeding, but not as abruptly as before, and it was starting to scab over. "Sorry 'bout earlier," she mentions to Fox, "I'm not used to others, except for the doctors, who I think gave up on me. They stopped feeding me a week or two ago, so the slightest push could knock me down."
Fox nods and heads off.
Jax eventually comes up to a dead end, the only way out would be either go back, or go through a vent above, which it's cover has broken, being sharp as knives. Fox comes around the corner and leans on the wall. He holds his arms out a little, offering a hug, he opens up and shows his palms, which have nothing in them.
Jax's eyes flick from the animal to the vent, choosing the vent. Okay, steel yourself. This is going to hurt but it's okay, Sis trained you how to get through pain.
When Jax goes through the vent, one part of the vent cuts deep into his leg, another part gets caught on one of his pant legs. Fox walks up to him, and gently frees Jax's leg, and steps back.
Melanie winces, expecting Jax to kick at Fox, and sits down, feeling uneasy, rocking herself back and forth to calm herself. She didn't feel too well, maybe from her legs still bleeding (very slowly, but still bleeding) and the lack of consumption.
Fox sits down with Melanie, hearing her stomach growl, he looks at here confused.
(Jack? Autocorrect?)
(WTF computer lmao)
"Huh? Oh, I'm just hungry. It's nothing!" Melanie lied. She couldn't remember the last time she ate anything in the past couple of weeks.
Fox gets up and gestures for her to follow him, walking slowly till she follows.
(gtg)
She stands, curiously, and tilts her head to the right as she follows him, clutching her right arm to her body with her left.
They leads her to where they remember where the cafeteria is, which there's some bread left.
"Huh? Oh! Y-you can have it! I'm fine! Really!" Melanie tried to fake a smile, but it looked more like a grimace.
Fox shakes their head, and gestures that she can have it.
"B-but you should have it. I'm used to being hungry, it's my usual now" Melanie lightheartedly chuckles, but it faded away, and her face was somber. She wanted the bread, but couldn't accept it. Not from someone who, to Melanie, deserved it more than her
Fox grabs the bread and puts in her hands. They smile.

Jax scowls, having gotten his leg caught again. He managed to get into the vents, breathing a sigh of relief as he pulls it out.
Jax can either go to the left, or straight.
Melanie breaks it in two, and she gives the larger part to Fox. She starts to nibble on the stale bread, but then devours it in a few seconds.
Fox breaks off a little chunk, and give the rest back to Melanie. They eat the chunk they broke off.
Melanie shakes her head. "Half is enough," even though she had less than half, she wasn't going to take more than what was needed.
Fox just shrugs, and grabs a container, and puts the rest of bread in it.
"Thank you though," Melanie nods towards Fox. "Not much of a talker? It's fine. I like to talk to people, though, so…You look like a good listener, though! No one listens to me much… I only have my friends in my head, which aren't real. So no real friends."
