((Oof, yikes))

Laura listened to him, teeth gritted. Her jaw was tight, eyes narrowed. She couldn't believe what he was saying. And she hated how it was partially true. Scoffing, she let go of his face, and stepped back away from the pathetic hero before her.
"You're delusional." She muttered, pinching her temple. Her brain was bouncing the idea back and forth, struggling just to say no. He was the hero. She was the villain. She wasn't suppose to help him. What would everyone else think? Wouldn't she be ruined if she helped him?
"You seriously think they're worse than I can be?" She asked softly, back to his face. Though he wouldn't be able to tell.

Laura kept quiet, lingering as long as she could. She muttered under her breath before approaching him once again, kneeling down in front of him.
"This changes nothing. When this is all set and done, I may just kill you." She insisted, her voice cool. "But I'll help you. If I can stop the bastards who were able to beat the hell out of you, no one will ever get away with calling me soft again."

He smiled softly at her. "Okay." That was all he needed from her. He knew she cared, just didn't want to seem soft. If in the end he really did die, he wouldn't be a burden to his family and they would have less to work for. His sister could stop doing all those jobs, and they could spend time together.

Laura stood up at that, starting to turn. "Get up. You look ridiculous." She muttered, pushing the door to her lair open. She stood there, waiting for him to get up and follow after her. Clearly, she had forgotten the part where he couldn't see where he was going. She was too distracted, and honestly wanted nothing to do with the hero if she could help it.

He got up from kneeling in the mud. He didnt bring up the fact that he couldnt see again and just atempted to entire the door, hoping it was open. He walked into the wall right next to it instead. he felt out the wall he ran into and backed up a little bit and turning a little bit only to trip when he was backing up and stumbling backs into a light post and eventually falling.

Laura watched him, groaning a little at his clumsiness. Of course, he couldn't see anything. She mumbled and grumbled to herself, walking over and yanking him up by the shirt. "Come on. Inside." She snapped, yanking his arm along so they could get inside.

He flinched when she reached to grab at his shirt, and then after being pulled up and grabbed on the arm and being yanked towards the door by his arm he made sure he wouldn't fall so she wouldnt have to drag him.

Laura eventually got the both of them inside, still leading him on. She continued to drag him along, eventually stopping by the bathroom. He was rather filthy, covered with mud, and blood. "You can't possibly shower on your own, can you?" She muttered, already knowing the answer. There was no way she would help him if her assumption was correct. He'd just have to skip it.

He stumbled into the bed eventually sitting down on it and feeling Like a little kid again. He mumbled a lot of things before saying something loud enough. "I-i h-have a g-gash o-on m-my b-back.." finally came out of him.

Laura groaned, seeming to go quiet as she left the room. She came back a minute or so later, medical kit in hand. She wanted the satisfaction of killing him, not letting him get infected and die slowly. "Take your shirt off. I need to clean it up." She ordered him, pulling her short hair up out of her face.

"Good god, what even did this to you." She muttered, staring at the gaping wound in his back. She was unphased by the amount of blood, trying to blot it up. She kept a tight hold on the wash cloth, teeth gritted.

"a-ah! Sorry." He strughled but eventually sat up straight, his lead headedness getting worse so he closed his eyes and breathed in and out. Repeatedly. Until he eventually passed out falling backwards from lightheaded ness.

"What the-" Laura cut herself off, looking down at the unconscious body in her arms. Mentally she strung a long list of cuss words she was muttering under her breath. "Well if you were about to pass out you could have told me." She mumbled, groaning weakly as she laid him there on the bed. Now what was she supposed to do? She wasn't a doctor, and her help was out for the weekend. Of course this was the week she let him take off. The week she would need him most. So she sort of sat there, unsure what to do.

Laura rolled her eyes, scanning over the messages rather quickly as she typed a response. It wasn't very nice, but she wasn't very nice. Why should she bother with politeness? 'He's busy right now. He'll text you later.'
