I know there's already one going, but I really like this idea and wouldn't mind doing two at once.
500 years from the present-day humanity has perfected the modification of their own DNA. At first, it was to help humanity thrive in the ever dying planet from the problem they created. People live in giant cities with supposed perfectness, though they are riddled with corruption and class issues. These cities are interconnected under one government. Eventually, some genius got the idea that humanity could be further improved by becoming more like the creatures that used to inhabit the planet. Soon the notion of designing a child to have the exact characteristics wanted became heavily appealing and the program rolled out in every city across the world. As more people demanded these spliced children with activated genes, the scientists rolled out new splices more exciting ones. This continued until on and as it did more and more men joined the research teams pushing back the centuries of work done to make males and females equal, both by the government and by the people in charge of 'child creation'. Slowly the number of children born from the womb decreased until almost every female was incapable of having children. Making them essentially second class citizens once more, some argue worse as they were seen as no more than a man's property. In fact, women have been erased from history as well, so the women of today don't even realize what life used to be for them. But, there is hope. If you look to the rooftops, you might just see it.

~SPLICE RULES~
-INK- There are three different stages of INK. NonINKed, Forced INK, and Natural INK. INK is also dark black naturally. INK gives a person special abilities related to their splice if they have one. Forced INK is given by tattoo parlors set up by the government that limits your abilities. Natural INK is only known by the rebels and is a result of getting 'shoved' in their pool of the stuff in the initiation ceremony. All abilities are gifted.
-COMMON-PLANTS- Often carry the scent, feel, or even buds themselves. Normally types of flowers, and other non-edible species. Forced INK patterns normally consist of the most notable attribute of the flower, gain the ability to slightly control their species. Natural INK patterns consist of multiple flowers and vine-like patterns swirling around the body, also gain the ability to control their species.
-SLIGHTLY LESS COMMON-ANIMALS- Physical attributes are always noticed. Any animal is game. Forced INK patterns normally are a silhouette of the spliced animal, gives them a minor sensory boost and if they have wings flight. Natural INK are swirling patterns that replicate fur, feathers, whiskers, scales, you name it; gives them the same attributes as the animals.
-RARE-MYTHICAL- A mythical is something that has more than one splice within them. They are very rare and reserved only for the elite. I'll list out the types and if you want one I'll tell you more about each type. There are Unicorns, Pixies, Elves, Mermaids, and Dragons. Forced INK pattern consists of a silhouette of the replicated myth, gives them one attribute of the mythical creature. Natural INK consists of patterns that is associated with the myth, gives them a full range of abilities.
-EXTREMELY RARE-NATURAL BORN- You're human. No special abilities, no enhancements. Just a good old human. In the current world, they make up around .9% of the population.
~THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT THE REBELS~
-Most if not all hate males. Most of the rebels have either been sexually abused or forced to do other unsavory things by the opposite gender.
-Due to that rebels often times make sure everything is consented.
-ALL CITY REBELS ARE FEMALE BUT THERE CAN BE EXCEPTIONS (AKA YOUR CHARACTER)
-The rebels are led by three leaders; Hailey a cheetah splice in charge of coordinating protests and other more militant coup like ideas; Aliana a natural-born in charge of the more domestic area for people who don't want to be involved in the rebellion and are just seeking shelter; Chrysanthemum a dragon splice in charge of undercover operations, she has a separate base away from the others in case something goes wrong
-Their clothing options are the same as a poor person, just slightly more personalized with a jacket or a unique colored top.
-The rebel base is a series of sheet metal huts in an abandoned sector of the town.

You can pick whatever type of character you want, however, I would prefer they not be a rebel at first and know nothing of the rebels. Instead, my character will come and pick them up in the beginning at this big government parade type thing. Not kidnapping, but close. So what this will mean is that they will NOT have Natural INK, if you want that at some point have them have NonINK. I would prefer it if your character matched the rebellion rising but no one really knows it vibe I want to have with this rp.

Appearance: Short raven black hair in a jaw-length cut, small reddish pale eyes in an oblong shape, pale skin, muscular, stands at around 5', and has resting bitch face.
Usual Outfit: A white tank crop top, a short royal purple jacket that goes down to her elbows, black fingerless gloves that have veins and run up to her elbows, black jeans that are basically shredded at this point, and grey combat jeans.
Weapons: Her black fingerless gloves that have an electrical current running through them.
