She laughed and rolled her eyes, folding the money inside the bill and pushing the bill and money to the center of the table, "This is my treat to you since you've never been here, you can pay the next time we go somewhere."
She laughed and rolled her eyes, folding the money inside the bill and pushing the bill and money to the center of the table, "This is my treat to you since you've never been here, you can pay the next time we go somewhere."
He sighed dramatically. "I suppose…" His eyes darted around the room, unconsciously gauging how much someone likely had in their pocket. It was a thief's game he liked to play–harmless fun, as no one got robbed. Yet.
She smiled and leaned back in her chair, "Ready to go then? I don't want to have to run back to my next class."
"Aw, but running is so much fun," he joked, averting his gaze back to Jynna. "Yeah, let's go before we're late to class."
Jynna pushed her chair back and stood up, pushing her chair back in before jokingly walking over to Rhydar and offering him a hand with a grin.
"Oh my God," he muttered with a laugh, then grabbed her hand and stood. As he got to his feet, he lightly tugged her closer to him and pressed his forehead against hers. "I may be your prince," he murmured with a smile, "but I'm quite capable of standing up on my own."
"You sure about that?" She joked, cocking her head to the side slightly and letting the grin stay on her face, "You seemed to have accepted my hand when you stood up."
"Can I not hold my girlfriend's hand?" he asked as he took her other hand.
She pretended to think about it, squeezing his hands in answer and tugging him towards the door, "I suppose you can, though we should probably head out, I don't think many people want to watch us and our dramaticness."
He scoffed as he let her lead him to the door. "Please, everyone loves a good show. What are you talking about?" he teased.
Jynna smiled and rolled her eyes, "I mean, people are trying to have a nice meal," She opened the door for him and motioned for him to go first, "After you, Prince."
He stuck his tongue out at her playfully before he headed out. "Once again, I should be the gentleman, but you, my dear, aren't letting me."
She laughed and shrugged, "I beat you to the door, which means I get to open the door," She replied, following him out and sticking her tounge out at him.
He rolled his eyes and reached back to hold her hand again. "You're just making up rules," he jokingly accused. "Though I guess I shouldn't be complaining, since I'm usually an ass."
"You're not an ass." She took his hand and started walking back towards campus, "At least not when you're with me."
"Because I feel like I shouldn't be an ass around you," he answered honesrly, rubbing the back of his neck with his free hand.
She smiled, a slightly confused look on her face, "Why me though?" She stopped at the road and looked both ways before rushing across, yanking him with her.
"Geez woman, I can cross a road on my own." He easily followed behind her, looking from side to side just in case. "And I dunno, I just don't feel like being a douche towards you."
She stuck her tongue out at him at the crossing the road comment, "I just don't want you to get flattened by a truck. Car's don't stop on this road."
He flicked her nose in retaliation. "I appreciate the concern, but again, I have legs and eyes, as well as ears–however selective they may be. I've crossed plenty of busy roads."
She rolled her eyes and smacked his arm in return, "So have I, I've also been late to class because of that road, and stupid cars."
He gripped his arm with a look of feigned hurt. "Okay, okay. Yeesh, woman. Cars are deadly, lesson learned. I shall not doubt you again."
"You're so dramatic," She replied with a laugh, "I think that burger made you more of an ass."
He rolled his eyes. "I am who I am, Jynna. A burger isn't going to make me any more of an ass than I already am."
"You never know," She joked, smiling and nudging him with her shoulder, "Maybe that burger was specifically made with 'make Rhydar more of an ass' ingredients."
