“Not possible if you’re the greatest,” Lilah argued, returning the kiss softly.
“Not possible if you’re the greatest,” Lilah argued, returning the kiss softly.
Cam laughed softly and nuzzled her cheek. "I think it is. I pass my greatness on to you."
“No…” Lilah sighed and shook her head with a soft chuckle. “How about this: we’re both equally great and think the other is better?”
Cam frowned a little. "But you are better. And that's a fact." He hooped her nose.
Lilah scrunched her nose up and kissed him again. “I don’t think so. And you’re not going to convince me otherwise.”
Cam pecked her back and booped her nose again. "I bet I'd be able to."
“Mm, I don’t think so,” Lilah challenged with a small grin as she pulled back to lean into a jet.
Cam shifted so he could take her into his arms and still lean against a jet. "I bet I could." He leaned into her shoulder and side.
Lilah chuckled softly and leaned into him again. “Oh? How so?” she asked with a slight laugh.
"I'm not sure," He murmured into her neck. "But I'll find a way." He shut his eyes, pulling her closer.
“You do that,” Lilah sighed softly, closing her own eyes as she relaxed into him.
(Do you wanna check in on Tobias and Rose?)
(Sure. Lol. What should be happening?)
(Ummmm idk. Lol.)
(Lol. Erm… Random party for some reason? Maybe someone found out that their house is empty except for the two of them?)
(But like why would they, out of all people, have a party? Maybe Rose invited a couple people over for a study group?)
(sigh We made these kids too boring. Lol. Not really, but…
Maybe the mystery boy comes over?)
(We made them well-raised, lol.
Okay. Sounds neat)
(Do you wanna start, or should I…?)
(Could you…?)
(Sure, why not?)
Rose sighed through her nose as she tapped her mechanical pencil against her lips in thought. She'd started on her homework that they were supposed to do over spring break, and it was going fairly well. Except for English… What was a predicate, again? And why did she need to know?
(Thankies!)
Tobias snored softly under a textbook laid out over his face. The cover showed World History glamorized with AP Edition below it. Clearly Tobias, snoring, was ecstatic about it. So ecstatic, he didn't hear a knock on the door.
Rose sighed and glanced over her shoulder at her bedroom door, having heard the knock at the front door.
“Tobias! Would you get the door?” she called. After not getting a response for a few moments, she huffed and set her book away before standing. When she had reached the door and opened it, she blinked in surprise.
“Oh. Hello. Can I help you?” she asked the boy at the door.
Tobias snorted softly but didn't stir, yawning faintly before shutting his eyes again. The book slipped from his face and plopped onto the floor with a smack.
The boy looked up with a tiny smile, holding a bunch of papers. "Hi! Would you be willing to take part in a–, Oh, hi, Rose!" He grinned brightly.
Rose smiled a little at the boy, though she still hadn’t gotten his name…
“Hey. Are you selling things?” she asked curiously, noticing his papers.
