(What month did they even get married, though…?)
(What month did they even get married, though…?)
(Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiii don’t know..
I think it was in the Spring?)
(Erm……. Okay, that’s what I thought, too. Anyway, we’ll have to skip again, I suppose. Like, a lot…)
(Yeah… a lot. Well, at least Tobias and Rose can be on Spring Break…)
(Yeah, that's fine. So we're thinking probably April or something then?)
(Yep!)
(Okay! Also, could Rose and the guy have gotten closer? Maybe he somehow got her number, and he texts her?)
Lilah stuffed a few final items into her suitcase before glancing over at Cameron. She smiled softly as she sat on the bed beside her bag, simply watching her husband. To think, it had been about eighteen years since they'd gotten married… She was so lucky to have found him…
(That sounds good! Could the same for Robyn and Tobias happen?)
Cameron was sitting cross legged on the bed, neatly folding his things and placing them in his bag. He was humming softly as he worked, messing with the collar of one of his shirts. He didn’t want any of them to get wrinkled. He grabbed a bag of his personals and set them in, glancing up and catching her gaze. He grinned.
“Ready?”
(Sure! Maybe they exchanged numbers to study?)
Lilah grinned at him excitedly and stood. "Very ready. I can't wait to go back to Paris, love! It'll be like our honeymoon all over again."
(Yeah!)
Cam stood, grabbing the handle of his suitcase after zipping it up. “I know! It’ll be so wonderful to see the sights again. We’ll definitely have to go back to the Eiffel Tower and night.”
“Mm, yeah… That was gorgeous,” Lilah mused dreamily, a wistful smile on her face. She looked over at Cameron, her love for him glimmering in her eyes. “I love you…”
Cameron smiled at her happy expression, his eyes soft and happy. Cameron met her gaze once she looked over, humming softly.
“I love you too.”
Lilah leaned forward and kissed him gently, then pulled away to kiss his cheek and stand. “All right… We should stop daydreaming about France and actually make our way over there, now. I’m sure the kids are anxious to have the house all to themselves for a couple of weeks.”
Cam chuckled softly and returned the gentle peck. “Right. Let’s hope when we get home it isn’t burned down, yeah?” He grabbed her bag, straightening up. “Lead the way.”
“Oh my gosh, don’t make me think about that! I’m already worried enough with leaving them home alone for so long as it is!” Lilah exclaimed, swatting at him before she picked her bag up. “Geez, Cameron. Anyone would think you were trying to give me a heart attack…”
Cam laughed softly and shoook his head. “Goodness, dear, you can’t take a joke? The kids will be fine. They have a lot of things to do with friends to talk t9. They’ll be— and the house— will be okay.”
Lilah sighed and nodded slowly. “Yeah, I know… It’s just… This is the first time we’re going to be so far away from them and for such a long time. It’s strange to me,” she admitted quietly, shrugging a bit.
Cam set down his bag and gently rubbed her wrist. “It’ll be fine. We deserve this time together. They’re nearly out of the house, anyway.” He kissed her cheek. “They’ll be okay.m” He said to himself more than her.
“I know… Thank you, babe,” Lilah murmured softly, kissing him gently. “I think we’re ready to go, now, if you are.”
(Woah late response?)
Cam smiled at the kiss and returned it with a gentle one of his own. “Yeah, I think we’re ready. Lead the way? Aga8n?”
(Sorry… I just get super unmotivated for some rps sometimes…)
Lilah chuckled softly and opened the door. “Yeah, yeah. Let’s go, then,” she said as she walked out of the room.
( o I mean when you responded it was 2 in the morning for me
And thst’s ok)
Cam followed suit, holding both of their bags and humming softly. He shut the door behind them, then hurried to follow.
(Oh, lol. Wowzas why were you on at 2 am?
asks the girl who was on until 2:30…)
Lilah made her way downstairs and smiled at the kids, who were sitting in the living room. Rose was reading a book with her headphones in, and it looked like Tobias might have been watching something on the tv.
“We’re heading out now,” she called to them, and Rose looked up quickly. The girl stood and hurried over to hug her mother tightly, murmuring a soft, “I’ll miss you,” before she moved to her father and did the same.”
(No, I saw it was 5 hours ago, lol. I wasn’t on up until then.
What were you doing?)
Tobias looked up from the TV and rose to his feet, shuffling over awkwardly.
Cam took his daughter in a tight hug, kissing her cheek. “Be safe, okay? We’ll be calling every day.”
Tobias sighed softly and hugged Lilah. “You guys should try and relax. And be safe, too.”
(Ohhhhh. My tired brain didn’t notice that. Lol.
I’m with a bunch of friends in ND, and we were up late…)
“Thanks, hun,” Lilah said softly, kissing his forehead, even if he didn’t exactly like it. “You two be careful, too. Don’t get yourselves into trouble, and no throwing parties while we’re gone, okay?”
Rose rolled her eyes and kissed her father’s cheek back before pulling away gently. “Like we would throw a party, mom. You don’t have to worry about that.”
