Fine
She says in pouty voice turning back away from him holding in a little smile
Met watched her glance then look away again, laughing and shaking his head. She was such a dork. He loved her post-therapy self. She was so much more bouncy and not to mention beautiful without her various bruises she would get from the brute of her stepfather.
"Fine? Are you sure?"
"Positively absolutely sure!!"
She says looking over to him with a slight smile. She ran her fingers through her hair, expecting there to be a lot more, but there definitely wasn't, stopping a little above her shoulders. She was so glad she cut it.
Met smiled back faintly, rubbing the back of his neck and grabbing his wallet off of his desk. "Alright… let's go, then." He stood up off of the bed and offered his hand to her, smiling more.
Taking his hand almost Immediately after he held it out, she stood up with a little bounce, smiling up at him.
"Where to?"
She asks moving a short strand out if her face and tucking it behind her ear.
Met snickered at her and shook his head. It seemed like she was just dying for him to stick his hand out for her and hold hands.
"The Chinese place. I thought we could drive over. I need to grab some gas, though."
"Okay!"
She says squeezing his hand and pulling him to the door. She didnt have much Chinese, but it wasn't to different from Korean. She grew up with more American food, but she still liked the food from home.
Met grabbed his keys on the way over to the door, trotting out with her and unlocking the doors.
“Alright, get in, baby,” He murmured to her, glancing at her.
"I am no baby, but okay"
She says happily skipping to the car, hopping in the passenger seat
Met laughed and got into the front seat, checking he got everything before going on his way and humming.
“I have to grab some gas for the car, first, so you get to sit through that. Maybe we could grab something from the gas station.”
"Oh, I don't know! That's a long time to wait….but ill try"
She says jokingly as she started braiding her hair absentmindedly.
Met laughed and started the car, humming softly with the song he was playing previously. It was a neat rock n’ roll song that he enjoyed a lot. He was a really 80’s type of guy. Born in the wrong generation, always complaining about gas prices and his aching bones, which were problems he actually had to deal with on his day to day life.
"What song are you humming?"
She says turning to him with a short strand of hair braided, falling in front of her ear.
(AAAAAAHH I KEEP REPORTING THE POSTS GOD FRICK)
Met shrugged. “Some song, I guess.” It was actually a song he liked from one of his favorite bands, but she didn’t need to know that.
"Oh….okay?"
She says with a confused look, quickly picking up the tune and humming it with him as they drove, wondering when he would notice.
Met glanced at her once and his voice just sort of died in his throat. He wasn't used to humming with other people, even though he was in a choir. He would rather just sing in a group with a lot of background noise. He was sort of a shy singer.
"Hmm?"
She says turning to him
"Awe, your voice stopped. You know i like it!"
She says sticking out her bottom lip in a pouty yet cute way as she crossed her arms, her big eyes looking up at him.
Met's gaze flicked to her once then back to the road. "I dunno what you mean, CC. The-the song ended, so I stopped," He fibbed, even though the song had ended a couple seconds ago and not any later. He knew she'd point him out for it but he was already grasping at straws.
"Hmmph"
She simply sighs as she turns on the radio, the song "oh ms believer" playing, as she sings along to it subconsciously.
Met didn’t know a whole lot of music from this pop station, so he was quiet for the rest of their ride around town.
Soon they had finished with their meal and was back in the car with their leftovers.
Still eating her leftovers in the car, she mostly got chicken with alot of rice, which she loved, looking to Met with a smile.
"You like it?"
She asks him after she swallows a huge bit she had taken beforehand.
Met had set his crispy beef strips down at her feet, watching her take large forkfuls of chicken and rice into her mouth with a little grin on his face.
“Yeah, It was delicious. I’m about to start driving, maybe you should put that away for when we get back to my place.”
"Oh, okay"
She says taking a big bite then setting it down.
"So what're we gonna do at your place?"
She asks once she's finished with the huge bite she had taken, looking down at the box, wanting more very second she looked at it. Her love for food was indescribable. Words would never even come close to describing her love for food. Especially fired chicken.
“I don’t know, CC. What do you wanna do? We haven’t really done much together lately after school ended and we graduated.” He smiled as he glanced at her longing face, shaking his head. “You’re such a cutie.” He knew he couldn’t get in the way of her love for fried chicken, but he sort of had to in this instance.
"What!? N-No!! I mean…….thank you"
She says shocked, but mumbling the last part as she fiddled her thumbs.
"You have a gaming system don't you?"
She says as she bit the inside of her lip.
