boop….
boop….
(Oof, I thought I answered this sorry)
Peter’s assistant handed him the muzzle, and Peter stalked forward and put his foot on her tail to keep her in place. Rigel tried to move, tried to stop him, but the pain coursing through him held him as good as shackles. Peter reached down and pinned Kohaku by her throat, then forced the muzzle on her.
Kohaku’s tail stung where he stepped on it, and she lashed about, clawing at his hands and his arms with heated nails, doing anything in her power to stop him. She hissed and spat, but it was no use.
The muzzle was shoved onto her snout and ultimately tightened. It itched, and it hurt, yet no matter how hot she heated hrself, it wouldn’t burn or melt. But most of all, she felt the hardest hit from the past in her ancestry. It’s happening all over again…
(Meanwhile….)
“Do you know where they went?” Daichi was a bit shaken, still at disbelief of the matter.
Mamoru shook his head. “I don’t know, but I’m sure we’ll be able to find them from a bird’s eye view…” _We’re coming Kohaku and Rigel…. we’re coming as soon as possible.
“Well then,” Naoki handed them leaves from the potted plant in the corner of the dining hall. “I suppose you should be on your way then. There’s really no time to lose.”
Peter snarled with annoyance at Kohaku’s flames, jumping off her. They were on the top of a skyscraper, so Peter grabbed Rigel by the arm and pulled him to the stairway door, leaving his assistant to get Kohaku.
Kohaku wanted to bark, but the least she could do was growl and whine about. "Rigel!!" She wanted to scream and wanted to char his body to ashes. Don't take him away!!!
(Meanwhile…)
Youichi and Mamoru returned outside, yet the raccoon dog told them one thing– "If we're gone for more than three days, don't come looking for us."
But with that, they placed the leaves on their head before transforming into an eagle and a falcon, taking to the sky.
"It's been a while since I flew anywhere…" Youichi glanced down at the world beneath them.
Mamoru sighed. "You better get used to it… Who knows how long we'll have to be like this?"
Peter’s assistant grabbed hold of Kohaku and followed Peter. Rigel tried to struggle, but he was hardly strong enough to move as Peter took them downdowndown
the stairwell. The air seemed colder as they descended. Peter took him to the floor then went through the door, leading to a hallway. Then to another door. Rigel was shaking again by now. The room.
Kohaku writhed about, whining and squirming. Let go of me!!! She seared up, nearly burning the assistant. But he was protected, and she didn't like that.
Kohaku growled, feeling like a dog– ready to be killed for an advantage not killing one for. Tears began streaming down her face, although she was red hot with anger.
(Meanwhile…)
Youichi began to struggle about five minutes in the air. "My arm– it's getting cramps!!!"
They both descended down into a nearby park and landed high in a tree.
The kitsune stretched his wings out to relieve the cramp as quick as possible. It was hard to fly when you always didn't do it every day.
Peter opened the door, forcing Rigel inside. He started whimpering again. The room was pitch black -the only light coming from the open door- with a set of stone chains on the far wall. “Take the fox to the next room over, I’ll get to her soon.” Peter then took the shuddering Rigel to the chains, and he had no option but to obey as the shackles linked his arms and legs, then a set of clamps went around his neck and abdomen. His first screams were cut off when Peter closed the door.
The assistant took Kohaku to the next room over, where another set of chains hung on the far wall. It wasn’t as elaborate as the one meant for Rigel, only hand and legs cuffs.
Kohaku's muscles began to tire out from struggling so much. I must keep fighting though!!! For the sake of Rigel and my predecessors!!!!! She heard him scream, and it made her just that much more angry.
But they shut her in, and she couldn't do much of anything anymore.
She failed….
(Meanwhile….)
Mamoru pecked harshly at Youichi. "Are you almost done?? Kohaku and Rigel are in danger as we sit here and do nothing!"
"Relax!" Youichi squawked. "I'll be ready in a quick second…."
As they were about to take off, a small crowd of people began to gather at the tree, pointing and buzzing and aiming their phone cameras at them.
We really should go soon…. But not until Youichi says he's ready…
(Boop.)
(Sorry I’ve been gone for a day… so… um, how gory can I get?)
(As gorey as you need to be. Surprise me.)
(Gore alert then for the next few posts)
Rigel could even see Peter’s grin in the pitch blackness of the room. The mass of the man approached, and Rigel felt the tip of the knife meet his skin above the wound in his elbow. Peter dragged the knife with a line of red to follow, going up to his neck. This was merely teasing. When Peter got to the top of Rigel’s shoulder, he sunk the knife into the skin and Rigel let out a cry of pain. Peter leaned in, whispering right next to Rigel’s ear, “You ready to play?”
Kohaku roared and screamed. "Rigel!!!!" She couldn't say much no thanks to that damned muzzle, and it made her feel that much more useless… There's nothing I can do…. She tried not to give up, and she slammed at the door.
(I don't think she was ever locked in chains yet)
(oh… I thought she had been…)
The assistant restrained Kohaku and locked her to the chains on the wall, leaving not a few seconds later. When he closed the door the room was bathed a
in darkness.
(gore warning)
Peter yanked the knife out, Rigel’s skin ripping with the motion. A scream was ripped from his throat and blood splatter out, and Peter only kept going. He brought the knife over Rigel’s uninjured elbow, slowly breaking the skin. He eased the weapon deeper into the skin, then yanked it. Pop. Rigel screamed again, trying to jump away from the monster before him but the chain held him in place.
Kohaku flared hotly, a terrible feeling scouring at her heart– her poor, failing, saddened heart. "Rigel!!!!" She barked, yanking at the chains. She tried harder and harder to melt them, but it was no use…. And she couldn't understand why.
(Meanwhile…)
Youichi finally said he was good to go, and they both shot from the tree, streamlining right into the high sky.
They hovered for a little, looking for the helicopter they both managed to see before they took off so quickly.
Mamoru thought he spotted it, and began to steer to the top of the skyscraper.
But a terrible ring in his ear caught him off-guard, and he suddenly winced. Is that…. Rigel screaming???
(Wait, how can he hear Rigel screaming from there?)
Peter chuckled, taking a step back as if to admire what he done, the blood dripping down Rigel’s limp arms. “I’ll be back, my love,” He whispered turning and slipping out the down to leave Rigel in complete darkness. He sagged, pained sobs coming out of him.

(Oof lol it's in his head.)
Kohaku struggled hard, but quickly got exhausted. What is there to do??? She fell a bit limp, but she didn't have a single thought about giving up. She worked herself up, raising her temperature rapidly. The cuffs began to soften, but very very very slowly– too slow to get out before she was tortured for the first time, for sure.
Rigel…. I'm going to get you out of here… She tugged and pulled, her wrists soon becoming a bit raw.
Peter stalked down the hallway, going to the floor below. This floor was completely unaware of what was happening above them, bustling workers in an office. But Peter only needed on man to find him something, “Drake!” He called, and not a moment later the guy was in front of him, waiting for orders. A good little intern, that’s what he was. Peter had considered taking advantage of the guy a few times now, he was just so unaware and… cute. But ultimately, Peter had decided against it each time, wanting to soldify the kid’s loyalty first. Who knew, he might be able to keep him around even afterwards…
“I’m going to need a hammer, can you find one for me?” Peter asked with a cat’s smile, “You can bring it upstairs, I’ll meet you at the top of the stairs.” Drake nodded, ever the try-hard intern, and bustled off before Peter went back up to the floor above.
Drake quickly found a hammer in the storage room, questions about why Peter needs a hammer in the back of his mind, but he quickly went up to the floor above. He’d never been on this floor before, but saw his boss at the top stair. Drake offered the hammer with a smile, and Peter took it with an appreciative nod. But just as he handed him the hammer, he saw a flash of Peter’s mind. And immediately wanted to hurl as he saw images of a broken body, and feeling that want so prominent in Peter’s mind.
Kohaku sighed, deciding it was best to give her struggle a mere rest. Rigel…. I promise we'll either get out, or be escorted by Ryuu… But no matter what happens, we'll stay together….
She went a tad limp, letting her muscles relax. As she tugged away, a harsh pang of pain struck the back of her head.
She was working too hard….
Peter smiled at the little intern, he looked almost… awestruck? He looked awestruck by Peter, it was frankly cute. But Peter had something else to get to— something much more important, so he left Drake in the stairwell to go into the hall way, and went back into Rigel’s room. “Hello, little songbird,” He purred as he walked closer. Rigel was mumbling something inaudible over and over again. Peter smiled a little, leaning down and lifting the hammer. Right above Rigel’s knee. “Will you sing for me, my little songbird?” Rigel sobbed, and Peter brought the hammer down hard. Crack. Rigel surely did sing, his screams ringing through the room as Peter’s grin turned more sadistic.
Drake stood in the stairwell for about a minute, trying to process the flash of thoughts he saw from his boss. And slowly, he went up the last step, opening the door to the hall and entering the level he had never entered before. A few doors lined the hall, and Drake cautiously walked towards a door and cracked it open. A… fox? A girl? Chains held her to the wall… What the f—k? What’s going on? He slipped inside the room entirely, closing the door behind him as he whispered, “Are you okay?”
Kohaku saw the man, but couldn't see nor speak well enough beyond understanding.
Her ears folded back, and she snarled and snapped, pulling hard at the chains.
She wasn't sure if he was there to torture or there to kill and drain her of her power.
I knew humans are still vile like they were then….
Drake jumped, taking a step back, then immediately fumbled for the door. What has my boss been doing up here? He slipped back out into the hallway, looking left and right as he closed the door behind him as he tried to keep his breathing under control. Where was his boss right now? What was he doing? Is he making hybrid people? “This is so screwed up…”
Kohaku felt a sense of calmness when he scrabbled out the door, but comparing him to the guy who put her in the room in the first place, her heart began to sink as she could've asked him to help her out.
There were several problems regarding that, however. Humans will be humans…. Her tail furiously lashed about, still a tad sore from where that man stepped on her.
(Meanwhile…)
Mamoru and Youichi landed nicely on the roof, glancing high up at the helicopter. "This is for sure where they are now," Youichi nodded.
"Well, how do we get in?" Mamoru pointed to the door with a feather. "If we want to be something else, we need another leaf…" And we were right there with a whole bunch of them, too….
Drake briskly walked back downstairs, trying to rationalize with everything. What I saw must’ve been a mistake, it has to be… Boss wouldn’t do something like that… “The only way I’ll find out is if I touch his hand again or something…” Drake muttered to himself, biting his lip. He tried to use his abilities very sparsely, it was an invasion of privacy that Drake didn’t want that on his conscience. But this… Drake needed to do it, he needed to find out what was going on.
