So yeah, we can make characters… Just fill out this template…
Name:
Age:
Gender:
Sexuality:
Occupation (if they have one):
Appearance:
Personality:
Flaws:
Powers?:
Other:
So yeah. We can do a fantasy role play, or romance, or horror, or whatever you want :)
Can i fill out a template for a character I made on the site or start from scratch or whatever I want?
Which ever you want :)
Ok… i guess i’ll go with this one….
Name: Mamoru
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Occupation (technically): Look after some group of his race (It’s complicated, I’ll explain it later)
Appearance: Basically a japanese raccoon dog furry (THAT’S FOR DESCRIPTION!)
Personality: Serious
Flaws: He cares too much about others to care for himself (Take this with a grain of salt)
Powers: anything wind-related, I guess. And being a raccoon dog, he can practically shape-shift into anything he wants, including humans and inanimate objects. It’s cheap, but it’s a folklore fact.
Other stuff: um… he has a strong dislike towards the human race for what they did to his kind (I can explain that too if you want.)
Ooo! He’s cool!
Do you want this to be a romance or just fantasy roleplay?
Um… idk…. probably just fantasy…. and we will have more characters, right? I mean, ikt can’t be done all with one, right?
Yeah, we can make side characters as we see fit (If you wanna fill out more templates and have more prominent main characters that’s cool too)
I’ll get my own character in a second…
Name: Rigel Le’Dan
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bisexual
Occupation: Fast food employee
Appearance:
Personality: Cold on the outside, but very loyal if you gain his trust
Flaws: Can come off as mean and rude, tends to push people away.
Powers?: Can bend/shape/weld/melt metals with his mind
Other: He’s a heavy smoker and addict
OoO k that’s cool! So…. how do we start this? Like, does something just happen? Srry i’m new to these things
(Yeah, don’t worry about it. Someone just starts, and the character responds and such. I’ll go ahead…)
Rigel walked down the barren streets at three in the morning, taking a hit from his cigarette. He needed to get his mind off of life, but so far no matter how much alcohol and drugs he’d experimented with tonight got rid of the stress. He sighed, not watching where he was going.
(Oh hey, PS, since the rp started, use parentheses when talking irl
PSS, the rules for role playing is to have no explicit sexual interactions (though I doubt that would happen) but just a heads up)
A harsh shoulder bump forced him to lift his head up, and he couldn’t help but give the passerby a grim scowl.
But as he gave the guy a look in the face, he realized that his face was terribly bruised; and that his reddened eyes told him that he seemed stoned to the point of evoking Rigel’s jealousy. Just ignore him… He’s probably fine. Besides, he looks like he’s in the right place…
(This is okay for this kind of thing, right? I mean, I’m allowed to say what Rigel does, right?)
(You can only control your own characters, so instead you character could have just thought he looked jealous or something like that)
“Watch where you’re going!” Rigel barked, head spinning a little bit. He could’ve sworn that guy hadn’t been there a second ago, but to be fair his head wasn’t in the right place. “Who do you think you are?”
(K thanks I should’ve asked beforehand. :/ I can mention them, though?)
Mamoru immediately shifted his bones and melted his muscles down into a japanese raccoon dog, too quick to think before acting. He wanted to avoid any interaction with the kind of people who even seemed like doing anything to harm their own bodily spirit. Besides, it was against his morals.
Perhaps I should’ve thought twice before changing so suddenly… and in plain sight…
He became quite dizzy, and began to wander away from him.
(Don’t worry about it, I made the same mistake :) Yeah, you character can interpret mine, just not control him)
“What are you?” Rigel demanded, bleary vision for a few seconds. He definitely had too much to drink this night, and he probably should’ve known what he had taken. He blinked at the fuzzy being next to him, taking a step on wobbly feet.
He heard Rigel’s question just as he was about to cross the unoccupied street on his cold cracked paws. He regained his focus and glared up at him, squinting against the blaring city lights beyond the man’s head.
The voice in his animalian brain always told him to hide from humans, but since he wasn’t totally alert— like most were early any morning— he had a hunch that Rigel would forget about his mistake.
So for the sake of secrecy, Mamoru stayed silent and continued to stare at his exhausted eyes.
(Is it okay if I add a picture of Mamoru in the template post? (In his normal form, of course).)
(Yeah, of course :D, just hit the edit post button thing)
“I was talking to you.” Rigel said, squinting his eyes at the stranger. What did I take a few hours ago…? How many hallucinogens…? But this didn’t feel like a drug affect, this felt too real. Dangerously real.
(K)
He agreed with him on all levels. Yes…. you are talking to me, and you still are…
Mamoru had no doubt that Rigel wasn’t the typical human he was hoping him to be. And lucky for him, he could still take himself easy on him.
“Indeed,” He decided to reply, “May I ask why you’re out so early when the others are mostly asleep?”
“I’m f—king high, why do you think I’m out this late?” Rigel sneered, trying to clear his blurry vision. He’s not human, that’s for sure… “What the f—k are you?” Rigel demanded, a headache blooming. His magic and drugs never really mixed, so if he needed to defend himself he’d have to do it the old fashioned way.
Mamoru took major offense to his use of such language and hissed, baring his pearly white fangs. His muscles itched to pounce, yet he held himself back for his own sake. “Maybe I regretted crossing your path, but one thing’s for sure is that I can never reveal what I am!”
A harsh wind blew through the street, a gust that seemed to have come out of nowhere. He braced it, keeping his eyes strictly on Rigel.
Just in case anything happens, Ryuu can guide me to what’s right…
Rigel blinked, then his emotions switched like a western wind as he barked out a laugh. He leaned back looking up at the sky, “I’m so dang high!” He laughed again, stumbling a step backwards. His powers flared up, and a nearby lamp post curved towards him, bending out of no where.
The raccoon dog flinched back, eyes wide as superstition began to cloud his mind. He is obviously no normal human being— perhaps I shouldn’t be so uptight about this. However, at the same time, who knows what he’ll do next?… “What in Ryuu’s name…!!!” Mamoru barked wildly, struggling to every extent to keep his body together.
There’s no possible way a human can still have powers nowadays!… they were banished such a long time ago….
(Just for clarification, Ryuu is a God-like figure to Mamoru.)
“Oh my gosh, I’m talking to a dog,” Rigel let himself stumble back to fall against a nearby building, sliding to the ground in an intoxicated haze. His eyes dropped sleepily, but another pang of a headache made him wince.
Mamoru’s ears twitched irritably, as his wince was nearly one of the most unpleasant things he could witness happen to anyone. “Are you alright?” The last thing he could do was at least be helpful to the troubled stranger. “Wait…. what am I doing? Engaging with interaction with a human….”
He’ll for sure try to take my power, like they have been for centuries…
Mamoru didn’t take his risk and bolted, down the sidewalk, hoping to find the end of the city within short reach.
I’ve been here far too long!!!
“Wait!” Rigel called, throwing out a hand. His powers went out of control again, another street lamp crashing to the ground in front of the stranger. Sparks flew up from it, Rigel wincing again and forcing himself to stand on wobbly feet. “Wait…” He called again deliriously, another headache pang attacking him.
